Yeah, when she says she has falling in love with him, we at least know that her feelings have definitely changed since LRC, or at least she's now being honest about what she feels...

So, although we may not all be totally excited about last night's ep, we did get a D/L scene and I made some caps for those who haven't seen the b'day scene yet (part of the quotes are copied from TV.com)

Danny: Hey Linds! (walking up to her)
Lindsay: Oh Danny! They're beautiful! Nothing says you're special like centrifuge tubes filled with DNA samples.

Danny: I'm not gonna live this down, am I?

Lindsay: Forgetting my birthday? Probably not. Where did you get these?
Danny: Adam found more blood samples on the knife. There was a piece of shrapnel hidden inside the handle. You run the blood he found on the hilt?

Lindsay: (turning her back on him and talking with a rather upset voice) Yup, came back non-human. Send it to serology for protein analysis.

Danny: Lindsay, come on. Guys, we are not wired for remembering dates, okay? We remember sports dates and then steak sides, that sort of thing, alright?

Lindsay: (sighs and turns back round, facing Danny) Steak sides? You are so busted!
(they discuss the case some more until they come up with a possible victim)
Danny: (looks at her) BOOM! (Lindsay smiles a little)

(Danny walks away and Lindsay looks kinda sad)


I thought she looked sad, but I liked what LpoHeartsNick said in the spoiler thread:

The way Lindsay was acting in the episode made me think that she is not upset he forgot her birthday as much as she is worried about him.

I feel this could be right, perhaps she was not just sad, but rather worried because she clearly notices that he is still not the same ol' Danny he was before...

And onto happier news, we kinda did get that double date between D/L and Flack & Angel which we discussed a while back...at least they wear matching outfits :lol:

And it looks like we have to move our hidden cameras in their apartments:

God, you leave the writers alone for five mins (months? :lol and you end up bleeding well traumatised. :brickwall: :brickwall: That's it, I don't normally promote spoilers but I think I'll make use of them. I shan't attempt to watch eps until I have a rough idea of what's going on. By that, I mean one that make me not want to cry.

Perhaps a nice scene where they're at a restaurant or diner and having breakfast..and Danny's whining that the beer's not as good as New York, and Lindsay asks "how bout the girls?" and he just grins at her. Leans forward and kisses her. then goes back to whining about the beer.

That just made me smile and giggle imensely. I just see a picture in my head, and it's so funny and cute and adorable. Aww, I'd die squeeing and melting if they did that

I haven't seen the episode, so I can't comment that much. I love that he says Boom! to her though, it might be nothing, but it can be seen as meaning something...well, at least it reminds us of something, doesnt it? :devil:... I guess he could be trying to relieve the tension that was caused by the situation.

I really wish I could make up some excuse for him (tired, grieving, being a guy ), but it all sounds too lame. She was right to say something about it (silly girl even attempted to make a joke about it) and I know he was sorry and tried to make her laugh by saying 'Boom!' - and it worked temporarly - but she still looked really sad when he walked away

Yeah, right, being a guy :guffaw: I'm glad she said something about it, if a friend of mine had forgotten my bday I'd be kind of sad too. I don't think it's a reason to make a fuss about it though, and I don't think that she did, so it's fine. Well, not really, but considering the actual situation. Danny seems to be sorry as well, and excusing himself but not excessively...or so I hope.

Ok, no time now but I'll be back later with my view on the spoilers and maybe a well formed opinion on last night's episode if I get some way of seeing it.

So I've had time to think, looking at the promo and I don't think his shocked face is in reference to what was said. Settings are slightly different. I'm (hoping) thinking that is a regret face. Anybody wanna jump on this bandwagon with me? Keeping the dream alive and all? I know, I know, I'm just a helpless romantic. Romantic meaning no misery for all of 10mins.

I don't wanna tempt fate by talk of what may come. I'm now too scared to peek and hope at the spoilers section.

I don't come around these parts very often but I am a hardcore D/L shipper. There are just too many people in this thread and I always get all confused. I guess I should try to get to know you all. I love being a 'shipper for a 'ship with so much support.

Anyway...

I actually think it IS Lindsay in the promo. The person has a much rounder face than Riki does, and lighter hair. That's not to say it's not someone else... but the head looked like Lindsay's. I kinda became a little bit fearful that Riki was going to come along and mess with my D/L, but I don't think so so much. I think Danny's obviously going to flip a bit when Lindsay tells him she loves him... but that's a scary thing to hear sometimes. He'll be okay though. They might leave us off this season a little worried about the state of our 'ship... but I bet by next season we're going to be offically official canon.

It's going to be hot too.

I have no idea who it is in the promo, I'm kinda hoping it's Flack & Angell (stunning pair!) not to digress and move away from this ship but if it's them, it's def not our idea of a nightmare.

Actually with second glance I'm not sure it's Danny and Lindsay. I'm actually not sure it's even Danny. The woman could be Stella but, I'm not sure. I screencapped it and tried to clean it up a bit but I didn't get far.

I do think it's possible that it could be Danny and Lindsay though. I kinda hope it's not another couple from the show. As much as I like the romance if they make another couple canon they're going to take away from the D/L. Yobling and GSR did it to each other for a long time. Instead of a bunch of support for one... people started picking sides and pushing for their side to go ahead... it made the whole process take 6 long years. 8 and counting for YoBling and they have the same chemistry that D/L does.

I just... I hope that they focus on Danny and Lindsay and finally make a good decision where relationships and romance on these shows is concerned.

Hey, I am new to this but I am a huge Danny and Lindsay fan!

Let me tell you last nights episode angered me. But I feel like the writers are handling their relationship horribly. One second it is a deep and meaningful relationship (Flying to Montana on no sleep?) to this awkward relationship of wondering where they stand with each other!

Their banter and cute scenes were one of the main reasons that drew me to this show so it would be sad to see it end. I have many more thoughts on this but it would take all day so I digress! Plus I need more fluff to survive and I am not getting any!

Ok, I haven't been hanging around for a long time. And what a shock to come and find out about what happened in the previous episode, and the full-of-questions promo. Yoiks.
To me, why start the relationship between those two in the first place... all those pig-tail pulling in Season Two and Three, only for it to end? Ohkay... it hasn't happened yet, and I hope it won't. Oh, please, please, please let things get happier and let them have a child! Like Carmine said in that inteview. Instead, of course of completely ending it, like he also said in the interview.

Someone hire an AV specialist to clear up that promo scene. Lol.

Living in England it could be months before I see post strike eps., so I came online to see what had happened in Wednesday's programme...I was depressed for the reast of the day:scream:! I am refusing to believe that all the love and positive thoughts we have sent to tptb about our favourite couple are being ignored.I know in England police officers have restrictions placed on their private lives, and altho America's different I still cannot believe that being in a relationship with a would-be murderer is acceptable.. even when you bend the rules like Danny! I'm trying to remain positive, if only 'cos my pillow's soaking wet already!

Sorry for not being as....alert as I usually am, but I'm afraid I've encountered some kind of illness during the past few days, and all this talk of angst is not helping much.

But oh well. I'm going to remain confident that TPTB has brains, that they know there are many loyal DL shippers around the world and they know better than to alienate such a large fanbase. Just because the opposition may be more outspoken, doesn't mean they don't know WE exist. They do, and I'm sure they'll find a way to keep us satisfied.

I'm not going to say anything about the promo, because...well I'm not convinced it's even them in the first place. I have the screen caps of it and I keep thinking it's not Danny because of the missing tattoo on his right arm. Even if it's that dark, the contrast should still be slightly visible. There's a slight splotch, but definitely not in the shape of Carmine's tribal design. Oh well, who cares, we'll just have to wait and see, and hope, and pray, that TPTB are just playing one big huge april fools prank on us that's late and terribly unneeded.

I'm upset, yes, but who isn't? If Danny does what many people think he might do, then by all means break this ship apart rather than continuing on a false sense of trust. I'd rather them not be together than see one pretend to be in a relationship when he's not.

But still, I'm not giving up yet. So remain fluffy everyone and by next week we'll figure out if anyone needs sniping. PV is writing the ep right? We made a holiday in her name! She can't fail us now.

I remain solid it's one big-ass, really bad, horrible joke and a plot to gain ratings after the strike. Hey, there's tonnes of things you can imply in a promo right? For all we know, they're giving us another sex scene *drools*

Because I feel like, and I need to fluff myself up some, and because it's just a pretty picture, here's one I'd just LOVE to share! (again)

Anyways, I was kind of hmm not so excited once the episode started because after not seeing D/L lovelyness for a few months (or however long it was), the first(maybe second?) scene we get of them is a mini fight. Its just not right. I waited all night (for this episode). And I didnt want to see them fight.
Okay the very bad poetry and annoying rhyming is out of my system.
