On Love Triangles (chock full of *MAJOR SPOILERS*)

I would accept Danny/Lindsey if it was well written and didn't take over the show. CSI LV seems to have a nice balance with Griss/Sara. If we only got the same amount of D/L that'd be okay by me. The trouble is, TPTB seem to be making such a big thing about it that if they do run with it, I don't think it's going to be pretty.

I agree. Though I haven't seen the new series yet (starts tomorrow) I cannot comment on the whole situation properly.

I know did pick up on the chemistry on series two. I think that they would be great together and wish that the writers would hurray up and get it over with.

It won't be pretty at all and let's just hope that it comes back around to bite TPTB in the ass. They haven't writen Danny/Lindsay well yet, I can't see them starting now. It's sad that I don't see any chemistry at all between them and that TPTB have to point it out to us (which I still don't see ).

I'm just hoping that they leave in the Danny/Angell scene and see how much chemistry they show without TPTB having to tell us.

you always like the whole TPTB getting bite in the ass thing.

..

You know D/L wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the fact Lindsay has rubbed me the wrong way this season, and she went one ep awhile back basically saying she didn't want to be with him.. and now she might?.. I say we whack em.

If the Danny/Angell thing happens. How would you feel if you were dating someone and he flew half way across the country to support another woman? I do like Danny/Lindsay, but I could also do Danny/Angell if they didn't have him flying to Montana.

Well, it's not about us. :D

I doubt that Danny and Angell will be dating before he flies out to Montana or if they ever will. Danny told Lindsay he would be there for her and flying out to Montana is his way of being there (crazy as it is).

After the way she's treated him, she really doesn't deserve anything from him but Danny's a doormat so off he goes. IMO, leaving a note is the coward's way out. But that doesn't seem to be anything new for Lindsay.

For me, it depends on what happens after Danny flies out to Montana and they go back to NY. If they continue with DL, I'd rather they just left the DA thing alone but if DL goes back to the way they were before she left, I'm all for DA.

CS, yes I just love it. :p

My curiousity makes me eager to see the DA scene. I still don't want it to turn into a love triangle, but we have talked about it so much now that I would really want to know how it plays out on screen: How does she react? (she's sorry it happened or she's sorry nothing happened?), how does he react (it can still be the reason why he calls Lindsay later)?; so many questions. :D

I still think and fear :( that the final scene of ep #18 is the last we'll see of D/L; the focus will be more on other characters. So unless Angell starts to stir things up  it's very unlikely there will be an actual love triangle.

And there are pictures of ep #16 in the 'picture thread' and we see Danny, Peyton and Mac at the bath tub scene, but no Angell...

I really love D/L and I am comletely against D/A. While all of a sudden is she brought in when they have developed the other relationship for so long. Perhaps if they both come back from Montan to together, they will finally be canon.

I'm intrigued to see how the D/L relationships pans out! I've read all the spoilers and we've only just got season 3 in the UK. Lindsay just seems to grate on me way too much and the more she seems to turn Danny down, the more he goes back for more. I think the writers have changed Danny in a way as the Danny of season 1 wouldn't have taken Lindsay's crap!!
Oh well let's hope TPTB sort it out and either give us a D/L relationship or put an end to it!!

Not to worry, she's there (just not in those pictures). Mac ends up turning the scene over to Danny and moves on to the other case with Stella. I almost freaked out about not seeing Angell but then again, she's not the only cast member left out of the pics.

I am very eager to see the DA scene but I don't want Angell to be used and then thrown out like a used rag. I don't like love trianges, but if that's the route they take, it would be better than just using Angell. I guess we're not gonna know much of anything until we see ep 16.

While I fear that ep 18 could be the beginning of DL. But I would love to see the focus on other characters. Let's focus on Flack and Hawkes for a change.

I'm completely against all of it but I'd rather see DA if I have to be put through another canon ship. IMO, the DL "relationship" hasn't been developed very well at all. Sure, the writer's keep throwing it in our faces but that doesn't mean I see it. I shouldn't have to hear another character say "because he has a crush on you" and then I go "WTF's he talking about and is that what they're pushing". I should be able to see it between the characters...and I never have.

Thank you MichelleK. I agree. Either give us a "believeable" DL relationship (which I don't have much hope for) or put an end to it altogether.

I personally don't think there is anyway for two of the main CSI to be in a relationship because it would take time away from the main stories. That's why Stella and Frankie worked as will hopefully Mac and Peyton. it's not going to be shoved down our throats! I'm more up for learning about character pasts and developments. That may just be me though!!

^ I agree--unless they go the Grissom/Sara route, it's going to be too front and center. And as we've already seen with D/L, it's been made front and center in an attempt to sell a pairing where there is no chemistry.

Lindsay has had almost no development independent of Danny, and Danny has been turned into a doormat in an attempt to basically sell an unlikeable character to the audience. Her treatment of Danny has only made it harder to like her, not easier.

I have no idea what will happen after episode 18 with Danny and Lindsay or Danny and Angell. But I go back to my original thinking...if the Danny/Angell scene isn't cut, why is it in there in the first place?

I agree Top! I just don't feel the chemistry at all between D/L. I guess they are trying to hard and it sometimes looks genuinely forced. You can kinda tell sometimes. It's weird because Lindsay's character has chemistry with both Mac and Stella. It's just abit on the strange side because Danny chemistry on screen dazzles with everyone but Lindsay!
