Mac/Lindsay--All Dressed Up and Ready to Dance

I broke down and brought 'zoo york' from itunes. It's so cute how when she first works with him she is all nervious. And he knows it but trys to calm her with his voice and the way he was saying things. 
All right, guys. Here are my thoughts over the weekend:
I read some of the fanfic; the thing is that I have never been really interested in writing it, but am rather the analysis-type of person.
This said, three reasons why I think this LM 'ship CAN work:
1) Mac and Lindsay seem to be normal, mature, interesting people who feel “something” for each other. You just need to see how they interact with the rest to realise “something” goes on between them… intimacy, if not —hopefully— “something” else.
2) Considering the fact that there seems to be a star-shaped bunch of relationships (there are two love triangles, MLD & LMS),
a) Lindsay and Mac, ditto. Great together. Could have a serious (i.e. not fling), deep (i.e. not kindergarten-like) relationship. Not to be cruel here, but let's say Danny is a bit puerile, which leads me to:
b) Yes, Danny has feelings for her. It's SO obvious that I think even the orang-gutangs saw it coming on “Zoo York”. But who wouldn’t? She brought fresh air from the very first moment she entered the lab… O.K., let’s soften it a little bit: even though he’s a bit childish, his teasing her is just to catch her attention and get to have her eyes drawn away from Mac OR the evidence for, like, two seconds… it’s that lovely-annoying manner of “childish” that I refer to.
c) And Mac and Stella seemed to be really potential, especially during the first season. But last night I re-watched the first two episodes of the second, and I think she was just being an old friend there, nothing else. Plus, she got a boyfriend later, and my guts tell me that, being as honest and direct as she is (I really like her too), she wouldn’t start a relationship with anyone being with some other guy.
3) I told you that being from Spain we get the shows later than you do (about two weeks ago season 5 of Miami started, and we finished a couple of months ago season 5 of Vegas—it’s a mess, it all depends on which channel you watch), so this weekend I have come across some “spoilers” about Grissom and Sara and Horatio and what’s-her-name. It seems that the creators finally decided to take the characters out of the labs and set on their personal relationships. Now, focusing on NY, they have started with Stella, so I guess it won’t be long till we get to see some more hearting, the obvious choice being LD or ML, which I already commented. And, just in case, let’s just forget the woman Mac had a date with in the last episode of season 1 or simply think that it could be his breaking the ice after Claire.
Tomorrow we get the haunted-house eppy. I’ll try to write my views on it during the week.

Isabel you have a lot of good points. I'm drawing a blank on the haunted house episode. But I have a terrible memory. I rewatched an episode from season 1 with mac & stella. (officer blue) But you could see that he saw her as just a friend. And Lindsay has really gotten Mac's attention and not just in the first episode.
I know I said that I wouldn't write in a few days, but I just saw the picture that justifies this whole thread...

thats another ep i have to watch, i am still a bit behind, there are a few i still havent seen
which brings me to this question, where did we get the name for the thread? from the ep imbv got that pic?
oh and about the "huanted house" ep, i think imbv is refering to the one with the ampartment building that has like 8 deaths in the past 2 years, and then this lady ends up dead in the water reservior on top of the building

imbv you can't post images until you got 100 posts. But the links are good. That got me in the beginning trying to figure out what I could and couldn't do. But once you reach 100 you can do images in posts and you get to have an avvie. Or you can upgrade.
Oh and the mods are going to tell you not to double post unless no one else has in awhile. I edit my posts all the time. Kind of like right now.

Well what kinds of things do you see happening for this two in the future? (just shipping or just working more cases together)

if they work together at all, knowing the writers they may go crazy and never have them work together again, like they did at the end of this season, i would want to just see them work together, the way they connect and compliment each other is good enough for me
all they have to do is work together and we get cute moments for them, so i would settle for them just working together to start things off

Cool Hunter reaired last night, plenty of MeLtyness there. They so glitter together in their scenes. Notice how Mac defenses automatically come down when Lindsay is near. His eyebrows crinkle along with a smile. Notice how thisclose they stand by each other with barely an inch apart. Their body language speaks for itself. He is taken by her and Lindsay is charmed by him as well. Lindsay has breathed a new outlook to life in Mac.
