Last Photographer Standing #2 - Final Results Now Up!

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

I'll have mine in by the end of the day. I have several photo's, I am trying to decide which one to send in...lol! To many choices is just as bad, if not worse than not enough.

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

Mine is finally in as well... wew, this was close. Can't wait to see what you guys came up with. This is so exciting since there are just so few left.

Sorry not being around much lately, had to deal with loads of different issues lately, but now I am back and getting in votes every time.

Oh and Congrats to all the winners from last round. I really liked the ideas you all came up with. My brain went kinda blank on that one. ;)

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS:
1 Interesting concept, but there are coins that are in focus and blurry in the background that are distracting.

6 There is a glare in the center of the coins and some coins are blurry.

3 The coin to the left of the center coin got hit with the flash and the bright spot distracts the eye.

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

Tough Choice!

LPS:
02- The bill on the bottom is blurry
03- The coin on the left has a glare from the flash that immediately draws attention to that corner of the picture.
06- Some of the coins have a glare.

Overall:
05: Nice and bright, crisp and clear, no glare on the coins.
01: Nice arrangement. Also, shiny  And... are those coins standing up? I must know how you did that.
04: Pretty much the same comments as the other two. Nice and clear, no glare, nice arrangement.

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS:
02 - A bit blurry on the bottom and too close with a wideangle lense on the actual objects. That gives a bad spread of the motive... how do you call it? Some sort of aperture distorsion I'd say.
04 - It has such a hard cropping, is photographed a bit too plain, not real creative way of photographing like with creating special positions or angles and the coins are dirty and not shiny at all.
05 - I like the idea and creativity of it, but the lighting is unfortunate so the coins aren't really visible and the dark purse takes them all "in". Giving some spot lights on purse and coins would have made it a very great image and balanced out the rather light right side. :)

Best:
03 - This pic is clear and prim in a very nice way. I like the simplicity of it. :)
06 - Nice set up. Just one tip: Giving it some lighting from third party sources to balance out the shinyness (is that a word?! ) and doing the actual pic without a flash would have made it even better/even.
07 - Like the idea or it

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS:
2-Somewhat blurry and hard to find anything really in focus and clear.
5-I like the idea but I agree with BonaTaylor on how the coins on the wallet sort of get swallowed up with it and making the coins out of focus.
4-It is a very close crop job on the photo and even though it is clear, it just leaves for a rather boring photo.

Faves:
3-Nice focus and neat way of setting them up.
1-The clarity of the front coins and the reflection are very cool.
7-Just a neat idea...Money Tree.

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS:

2 - Glare and unsharpe

6 - Glare from the flash on the coins

5 - Poor composition. The eye is drawn to the wallet and not the money.

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS

02 - Not completely in focus
06 - glare on the coins kept drawing my eye back to focus on them and not the whole photo
03 - unfortunately I had to pick a third. There is a slight glare from the flash. It didn't distract me enough, but it is noticable enough.

Overall

01 - creative
04 - easy on the eye..I like it
07 - lol, where can I get one of those trees? clever idea

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

lps:

2- the creases in the bills are making weird shadows that distract from the overall picture
6- there are two coins with a lot of glare on them, makes the rest of the picture look very dark and shadowed (is that a word?)
5- the coins really blend in with the wallet, but the glare coming off them throws off the balance

Re: Last Photographer Standing #2

LPS
05 - You don't immediately see the coins on the wallet. Also, poor composition, but that's personal taste, I guess.
02 - The bottom of the pic seems blurry. I think it's because the bill's all wrinkled.
03 - As said, you can see the flash on the left. Otherwise, nice pic.
