Forgive me for asking this but even though I'm GSR all the way I can still see chemistry between Griss and Sofia. Anyone else??

I know a lot like Griss and Cath togheter but to me they seem like platonic best friends.

This topic can be discussed either at the Multishippers Sanctuary or in the Great Ship Debate threads. Thanks.

And then... had cookies? Yes. Cookies

Uhuh, lots and lots of... cookies. That's it ;)

I think the ambiguity over when the Geeks got together is only natural, since they a) had to keep it ambiguous so that the final scene would be at least a partial surprise and b) up until they were filming ToYD, I don't think they'd definitively decided they were taking the plunge with the couple, or when they were going to do it. I think they knew they would, really, but probably not the when of it, if you know what I mean.

I think it was WP that mentioned that he and Jorja had been inserting these little moments between the characters all season in preparation for the finale. Even before it was confirmed that this would happen, they were still laying the groundwork. And bless them for it, otherwise things would have been even more ambiguous...

But given the interaction between them in the finale, the little moments and hints all season, the fact that Gum Drops was planned to happen as early as episode 5 and only got dropped due to outside events, I think its a very safe assumption that the Geeks have been together all season.

okay, i saw the corsets-scene from Way To Go, and i couldn't stop laughing..  :lol:Grissom in a corset, i suddenly started to get weird imaginations about that..  and i thought (forgive me if i saw it wrong) that when Sara walked in, saying: How are you? to Grissom, she had her hand on his shoulder for a moment.. did anyone else saw that?? :p

I disagree only because of the fact that they are now clearly if not living together, then at least cozy enough so it's not just shady rendez-vous, but a real relationship.
That's not a very good reason to disagree, if you consider the nature of my argument :p

Also, his reaction said more, to me, that he was embarassed she'd said it in public. If they weren't together or at least in the beginnings of dating, I can't see her having the balls to say that in front of someone else.
Okay, I don't know about anyone else, but whether they were dating or married or were guest starring with Cath and Sofia on the next season of Big Love, his look did not look look like one of 'embarrassment' to me. You couldn't pay me to buy that.

I mean, look at it:

And again - part of the reason she says it is because the whole episode is about age, and by that time Grissom has been essentially told he's a dinosaur by Greg, and that kind of thing would be picked up more easily by someone who knows him better and is close to him.
I agree :)

But yeah - unfortunately there was just too much familiarity. Even the Caprice scene can be interpreted as "Oh God, someone who doesn't even know us picked up on it". Caprice was technically wrong, but the fact that they liked each other still stood as something he figured out.
See, now it just feels like you're trying to make it fit again. I still maintain something happened inbetween the Caprice scene and the eyesex scene, and not before.

Even the mouth to mouth scene just felt too flirtatious for Grissom at that point.
Because yes, they were closer and more comfortable than they had ever been, and they were getting closer to the point where they would be together, but I still don't buy that in that moment, they honestly were yet (or had intended to be by the writers and actors when it was made, if you want to be all technical about what the timeline's supposed to be like now). Sara's reaction didn't read like "I can't believe he said that at work" or anything one's partner would think/feel if they said that to them. It was more "Did he just..? No, don't read anything into it. I can't be sucked in by Mr NeverGonnaDoAnything."

You kids and your euphemisms. There was an ad on the radio that referred to them as 'oranges' once. But to be fair, that word is more similar to the actual one than 'cookies'...

'S what I'm sayin'. Thanks, Fogs.

On another note, does anyone thing Al might know about Grissom and Sara being together? I can see him as the type to know all, and just not say anything - even to them - until it's told to him, and then he can be all "It took you long enough to tell me"

I think that Grissom is a charmimg man and "flirts" with every women he comes in contact with- including Sofia- but his heart is with Sara :phere's another article with some thoughts from CM on the San Francisco theory -and her opinion of 60% for and 40% against - get off the fence Carol-- that maybe they did have an affair in SF but then when he left it ended and didn't begin again till-----well we don't really know do we- everyone has their own ideas on this but this is a interesting piece ;)

Apparently, autopsies and romance do mix

Yes. Don't you love editing? First the hand was there and in the next it was gone.

Same in The Strip Strangler. Editing I mean. You can see the moment where Griss turns to Brass upset and the moment Sara turns away with the FBI agent (those were shown as two scenes byt they were taped at the same time).

Just loved seeing stuff like that.

Ya knnow, was watching from S1 and if Sara was as B***** in the later seasons as she was there I would not have liked her with Grissom. I know he seems a bit withdrawn and aloof maybe in some eps but I guess I have more of a soft spot for him then her.

I, at least, am totally with you on that.

I would not have liked them together then. I would have actually been disappointed in Grissom to have just succumed to youth, long legs and looks. I think they *needed* to sort her anger out first. Which they did. And just make her not so 'tetchy'. Funny I think Catherine has gone abit the other way....

Tosses comment in to the ring and then ducks down to avoid flying objects and pitchforks....

Speaking of S/1-here'a a couple of pics. from the "early" days with them- :p

Mmkay so HI EVERYONE, I'M HOME. I went to Maine for one week and I come home to a wonderful new thread. I expected it, I'll have to admit, but it's soo much reading. Lol, but I enjoyed it. Yay for the new thread with a totally true title. =P

Kay so 'Sex Lies and Larvae' is probably one of my favorite episodes, given the 'moments' between Sara and Grissom.
'Strip Strangler' is also a very good episode, cuz it shows how much he cares about her.

Oh, and about the SF theory, I think something did happen back there. Even if it wasn't something huge like having a serious relationship, I still think it was something. Why else would they have been acting the way they have been for the past six years??

Hey, welcome back jorjan :)

A couple of Gutter announcements for all you Gutterflies. Firstly, I've just announced a mini-challenge in honor of the Bugman's 50th birthday (which is next Thursday, 17th of August, btw) If you are so inclined, I'm looking for Grissom icons, wps, birthday cards & poems, or any other means of tribute you can think of to celebrate the happy occasion. More details here

Secondly, due to extreme neglect on my part, I managed to miss the deadline for the creative challenges (which was the end of July), so i've relaunched all the challenges over on the Gutterflied lj, with a new date of 25th of Aug, for anyone that's interested. Again, more details can be found here

Back to business... Now that mystery has confirmed that the bedroom was Sara's (drat, I was still holding firm to my "got their own place together" theory...) lets hear everyone's thoughts on that. First of all, did Sara move, because I don't think its the same apartment that we saw in ND (in saying that, I don't think the apartment we saw in You've Got Male was the same as the one in ND, so maybe Sara's a bit nomadic and likes to move every couple of years...)

Do they spend all their time at Sara's? Or split their time between there and Grissom's townhouse? Does Grissom have a drawer there? How much time do you think they spend together? Every night? Days off only? A couple of nights a week? (or, i guess days, since they work nights)

Let's hear those theories... :)

I think Sara moved, if it is the same apartment as in 'Nesting Dolls', I'll be amazed. I think she probably got a bigger apartment because she's sharing it with Grissom, sometimes.

They probably go to Sara's sometimes and Grissom's, sometimes. Because if Grissom were to spend all his time at Sara's, who would feed his pet bugs? :p

I think Grissom probably has a drawer there. The only reason I just don't think they spend a lot of time at Grissom's is because of Catherine and others who will crash his place at random.

So if Catherine comes in and starts discussing a case and then Sara comes out of his shower... it might get awkward. lol.

But yeah - and the other thing is that I think going over to Sara's shows that he's interested in her, that he wants to be with her.

If he brings her home, to a certain degree, it's her decision to follow. If he goes home with her, it's 100% him deciding to be with her and at a place that's not his where he has to choose to be.

Sure it would be awkward, but also, it would be freakin hilarious!

My theory: They split their time. I agree with SaraSullivan; Who would feed the buggies??? Oh, and he more than likely has a drawer with just a few pairs of clothes in it, just in case he doesn't have time to leave and go change before work ;). Nah, I'm joking. But I still think he does. I think they probably spend like every-other-day after they sleep for like a few hours kinda just hanging out. That or I think it might be smart to kind of not hang out every-other-day because they see each other every night at work, which could get annoying now that they're in a relationship. If you think about it, that's alot of time to spend together when you're involved.

So if Catherine comes in and starts discussing a case and then Sara comes out of his shower... it might get awkward. lol.

It would complete my life, omg. Lol.

someone confirmed it's sara's apartment?? well, my theory crashed, BUT not entirely. as far as i remember i was saying that Grissom couldn't move in to sara's place, and move out of his own, b/c of his men's ego, the fact his townhouse is bigger and etc. i guess i can still fit it to the latest news. i think, he comes over her apartment as much as she comes over to his. i think he has his drawer there and she has one at his. oh, and i really think they spend most of the free time together. but ... what do they do except ... eating cookies? i think Gris takes her to restaurants like he did with Sofia and Terri. but, what else?? watch movies, talk, rest ...
