^ None at all, Ryan is himself in this epi
nsynckal said:I really liked this epi. But I thought there was supposed to be a big defining moment for Eric and Calleigh about their relationship. Maybe it was just me but I didn't see that. Anybody else?
Some of my initial thoughts...
Pretty awesome episode. I think this ranks up there with 'Miami, We Have A Problem' as one of my favourites this season. There was a pretty decent amount of everyone in the episode, and there were some really well-written portions (namely the nutty neighbor and the contractor).
Ryan was awesome in this episode. I had to giggle when he got soaked by the sprinkler system. And he wasn't as snarky to Tom in this episode; they seemed to get along quite well. I do wish that he wouldn't come to his decisions so quickly and focus on the evidence, but maybe they want that to be part of the way he functions as a CSI. Gut first, evidence later.
Considering the idea of the episode, I thought it was pulled off pretty well. My only problem with it was the fact that Eric was in the hospital room when she was being defibrulated. Pretty sure they would escort him out of the room right away and shut the door in his face. They don't have time to deal with the angry/panicky significant other when they're trying to do their job. Anyway.
Love when Jesse and Walter work together. Not to mention Jesse's quite nice to look at.
As for the Eric/Calleigh moments, I actually enjoyed them. I didn't think they detracted from the episode and it seemed pretty tasteful and understandable given the situation. I might not like Eric very much (frankly, he's become increasingly annoying over the past few seasons) but his moments were nice touch, I thought. *shrugs*
Overall, I liked it.
I agree about Ryan's fast decisions.I 'm hoping that the writers use this trait of his in the episode that he is set up in.Maybe he will become less likely to come to fast conclusions after his own troubles.I hope to see a lesson learned at some point.

So, they're pulling a Stella on Ryan? People were complaining a couple of eps ago about Stella's gut instincts.
Overall, I thought this was an excellent episode! Though, I was screaming at the tv when Ryan got soaked, "take off the shirt!!! take off the shirt!" sigh, oh well, right?
