Okay first of all, it TOTALLY looks like they're holding hands! Awwww, yay! I LOVE it! :D And second...
OMG that makes so much sense in so many ways...I saw that pic and totally thought it was her brother...and if her brother was the one that killed her friends that would definitely explain why she tried so hard to repress it and not deal with it, to see that would be hard enough to know it was your brother who did it? That would completely suck! Or even if her brother was one of the ones killed that would explain alot too...either way, good catch on that! Can't wait to find out the whole truth!!

Nice idea Merc. I never really thoguht of that. About the pic you posted of Linds in the flashback, I like how that girls knee is positioned so that it covers Anaa's belly. Made me laugh.

And that pic from Youngblood (that's the eppy right?) They do look like there holding hands, that's 2 they've done that, and 1 time they have done it for sure. ;)

I have another idea about Lindsay's past. I hope you guys don't mind if I butt in and post it.

I was thinking that was either a brother or boyfriend but brother seems more likely. Look at them closely..they have identical noses. Also, she said she has trouble dealing with mothers. I'm thinking that since she was the only survivor, the mothers of the other victims weren't very nice to her. Like "it should have been you too" or "why was my baby killed and you were spared". Stuff like that happens. I've been through it. Maybe after that, she just doesn't deal well with mothers for fear of them ridiculing her.

Just something stirring around in my head.

Oh! I hate myself so much right now...I've only watched till episode Cool Hunter and here I am reading every spoiler I find.. I've become a Lindsay/Danny fan, all that stuff with the bug meal..when he carries her to prove a evidence, etc. it's great.... and now I discover that Finally!! two people in CSI are able to recognize they like each other but... no!! she had to say it's me not you!! crazy!! i want to hate CSI writers!!
Anyway.. I hope this isn't the end and we can see them really happy together :)

Lol, yup Rad hon, personally I think they hold hands all the time and we just happen to catch them every once in a while! ;) :lol:

Netar welcome to our lovely board, and lovely ship! And yeah hon, sometimes we all don't like the CSI writers...or at the very least we know better what they should write! :lol: But no worries, don't lose hope, I am almost positive we will get to see them get together and be really happy!
Hiya! Love your theory/idea...I kinda thought something along those lines too. It would definitely make a whole lot of sense...if all the mothers blame Linds for living, giving Linds "Survivors Guilt" and making her have issues with mothers....to add to that, say that pic was of her and her brother and he was one of the ones who died, and her mother also blamed her for living...talk about causing major issues! Just another thought! Poor Linds! :(

Im so glad that the ep is Jan 10th and not the 17th!! Im so excited its not even funnyy!!!!
I just caught up with all the spoilers!:

wow guys, thats a really good speculation..! It makes sense w/ the whole brother thing, but i wonder why her brother would kill her friends ??? poor linds, its all starting to make sense....as for her and danny, seriously ptb...we better get something!!!! :)

i really miss CSI NY! ive been watching all the eps on my ipod, lol. I cant wait till it starts up again!!

as for when anna leaves....hopefully it wont be super long, id miss her too much! *sniffles* haha.

and,i loveeeeee everyones new avvies!! :)

I agree with Modie, that could definately be a reason why she doesn't want to deal with mothers because alot of them blamed her for being the only one alive, and it probably hurt her alot, if not her own mother saying it too, if her family was involved.

That was really a great pic darx2! You should think that by now they must be aware of the wonderful world of screen caps :D and be more careful, but here they are ... holding hands again... so sweet! :)
The picture definitely shows a young Lindsay with a brother or boy friend. But this is most likely not the same person that killed her friends. I cannot imagine that after someone kills four of your friends that you keep his picture in a folder with the rest of your family/friends pictures :( So if one (or more) of the vic's is male then this could be him. And I too think that the 'mother issues' she has are caused by guilt.
BTW What other pic's was she watching at the end of 'Stealing Home'. I can only remember one of her (and someone else?) in a ski outfit.

Almost all of us have the uncontrolable need to read as many spoilers as possible :eek: We love our ship and we cannot wait to find out what will happen to it. :D Although very often we end up more confused :rolleyes: And since you've only seen the actual ep's up till 'Cool Hunter' at least you now know that the best is yet to come! ;)

Nice to see you again goodnite! And we'll all miss Anna! :)

Hey guys!

I go away for a day and all the spoiler boxes pop up.

That maybe the guy in the picture was one of the murdered . It could have been her brother or it could have been a boyfriend. Maybe that's why she "pulled" away from Danny . She needs to go to Montana to get this all settled before she can truly open up her heart to Danny. And she will open up to him!

lots of great ideas, guys! there were 4 pics all together, but the one I posted was the only one where she was pictured with someone else, whomever the mystery gentleman might be, whether brother, lover, killer, friend, or combination. but I’ll put a link to each of them here so y’all can still look for fun. here is one, two, three, four.

Think of it this way, when you buy a movie on DVD, a lot of times one of the special features will be an alternate ending. If it turns out our speculations are completely off base, one of y’all writers can take our speculations and turn them into a fun fanfic “Lindsay’s Story: The Alternate Ending, brought to you by the D/L Thread @ Talk CSI” :lol: Besides, if we didn’t speculate, what else would we do for the next few weeks till we get some D/L?

And vex, I totally agree with the 2 last lines of your spoiler! There can be no doubt in this!

I had a little daydream about what the first Danny/Lindsay scene would be like after Anna’s return to the show. At first it was just going to be a 3 or 4 line blurb I wanted to share with y’all, but then the plot bunny got involved. Good evening all my buddies! ;) How's it goin for everyone this fine evening...2 days away from a new year and the start of what I know will be a GREAT second half of our season, this is it for us shippers, I KNOW it! :D

Okay gotta say I love the pics y'all have posted...and it really really looks to me like the kid in that pic with young Linds is her brother, seriously! I wonder if it's Anna's real brother, and they let him have a cameo in the pic...wouldn't that be cute! They really look related to me! :D

Lol, yeah Lynny's back! I've missed my angsty niece, and Vex hon, Hi to my other angsty niece...gotta love it! Now where's my third angsty niece? :D And Fluffy Twin where you at? :lol:
Yeah Lynny I think whatever Linds' issue with mother's is, I'd say it stems from this, and that the mothers blamed her in some way or made her feel guilty for surviving, which is just horrid anyway! And Vex yeah, I really do think that kid was her brother and I could see him being one of the ones who was killed...that would make sense to me somehow...not sure why, but it just does.

Can't wait to see our new eppy y'all! Even knowing Anna's leaving, I'm optimistic about something happening with D/L before she goes...really really hoping we get something!! We have to...we just...dang it, we have to!! :D

I love this ship too, it's so real.. and I'm willing to see "the best" which is still to come in the beggining of season 3.. I hope AXN show it us soon..

in response to Twinny's thing, it makes sense because she didn't say what gender her friends that were killed were, so it could be boys and girls. I like that idea, so I'm agreeing with Mo's last spoiler box. :)

This mighta been brought up, but so you think that TPTB will have us find out what is in the note Lindsay writes to Danny?

Hi guys I've not posted here before but I just wanted to say I saw City of the Dolls for the first time last night and although I'm not a shipper as such I found the "hand holding" scene utterly adorable. Danny was just too cute and Lindsay too oblivious. Loved it! :)
