American Idol

I agree so far no one seems to have gotten the success that Kelly Clarkson has had. I love her songs and she can sing. I really don't watch American Idol but I do try to see whats going on and the winners.

 

Kelly Clarkson is American Idol's American Idol, if you know what I mean. She totally rocks. And if I were to choose between her and Carrie Underwood (they're my two favorite Idols), I'd pick Kelly without hesitation. I mean, Carrie's good too, but Kelly's way better.

As for this season's auditions, is it me, or are the judges unusually mean lately? And the Dawg's starting to bite too. So far, I haven't been impressed by anybody who got through.

I think Chris Sligh is good. His hair's nice too. XD

 

I was surprised that the youngest boy didn't get sent home. I thought he did horribly on Tuesday night. But, at this point in the competition, it's really all about how much air time you got in the early rounds.

 

Agreed, I thought Sanjaya Malakar did an awful job. It's too bad coz I think he's got a great voice.

As for the eliminated contestants, I wasn't surprised that Paul got sent home; I never liked Rudy in the first place; Amy just wasn't that spectacular; and Nicole's expression whenever she hit that high note was kinda scary. Her face gets all crumpled up. I think she put a little too much effort that the whole performance kinda seemed unnatural and forced.

No one is really outstanding this year to me...I dunno. It really doesn't matter who wins.

My favorite has gotta be Kelly. Without a doubt. I saw her in concert 3 times and the last time I had second row. I seriously thought I was going to pee my pants. :lol:

I love Carrie too. Before He Cheats is the best song ever written.

 

Once again watched Blakes singing over and over again

The best tonight was by far Malinda Doolittle!! she was amazing tonight, i do love her singing bug loud songs but this song she made some parts really strong and it was just so smooth.

 

My favorites this week are Phil Stacey, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Sabrina Sloan.

Sanjaya was reaaaaaally weak. It's too bad, I like his voice. I wonder if he'll get through to the next round.
