^ ^ ^ Sorry, for the mistake, peeps ('bout Rey being in WCW instead of ECW... didn't know...)
I feel sort of bad that I wasn't didn't already become a pro-wrestling fan during the ECW/WCW days. I would've loved it. Of course, I don't only watch WWE, I watch a little TNA too. Well, I only watch when I have a proper timing. But after finding out that Christy Hemme and Jeff Hardy are there, I think TNA is becoming interesting. TNA's cool too. Like you said, it's like SmackDown!... lots of action, little drama.
Anyway, I'm still LMAO after watching Stone Cold Steve Austin on MTV Punk'd... "My name is Stone Cold and I just got Punk'd like everybody else."
Stone Cold Steve Austin is the first pro-wrestler I ever heard of in my life. Back in 1997 or 1998, if I'm not mistaken, when I was only 7 years old. My guy cousins were looking through their gifts of our Aunt that came home from NJ and they had WWF merches and I always heard Stone Cold's name.
According to powerwrestling.com, Stone Cold Steve Austin may be *the* most famous pro-wrestler in history, that even non-wrestling audience recognize. And The Rock and Hulk Hogan just follow after that. As for my older sis, the first wrestler she heard of (before we started watching) was Triple H.
To be honest, I don't really have any hatred or dislike for the wrestlers. Well, only for their on-screen character (ie: HHH, Melina), turns out that in real life, they're regular, kind people. Like Melina, she's actually good friends with the Guiterrez and Guerrero kids... er, okay, to Aaliyah and Dominick Guitterez and to Shaul Guerrero and her sister... still not clear? Okay, to Rey Mysterio's and Eddie Guerrero's children. Lita... she's an animal lover. So am I, I have two dogs that I love so dearly. Triple H, he's against drinking. Why shouldn't he be? I mean, he's smart enough not to jepordize his health as an athlete by drinking. And I don't think I've ever heard of any WWE superstars who drink or smoke. Carmine (I'll only drag him here once) smokes, right? That was kind of a turn-off for me. As for these athletes, they don't, so it's quite okay for me.
