I'm SO EXCITED to see Billy LIVE with you, Bestie :) *SQUEE*

So ever since Billy left (wow I'm opening my mouth and inserting my foot after this), the ratings for CSI have dropped. There is an EXCELLENT article on WPAP (www.billypetersen.com) in the Gallery about how Langston has just bombarded the show and the viewers/fans/ratings. Ya'll should read it.
There's also another one in which Billy talks about the CSI Movie....

Anyway, I miss Billy tons and tons everyday...... :*(

Well since you and Crim will be seeing Billy first, I hope you have lots of great stories about your experiences to tell everyone.

I have tried E-bay twice and Amazon once, and haven't been able to get a working copy. I've yet to see a VHS version of Gunshy for sale on E-bay. You'd think the manufacturer would be worried about lawsuits from selling defective DVDs to retailers. I know that we're not the only ones who have had this problem with Gunshy.

Just remember I want a detailed account of everything that happens re: Billy in Chicago...lol!!!

You'll love TLADILA.... OMG the man is soooo hot in jeans....and the bedroom scene...
Manhunter is a great movie too, but for different reasons. Watching Will Graham walk up those stairs with a flashlight is a percursor of watching Grissom doing a walk through on CSI.

OMG...Long Gone is totally drool-worthy. You have to watch Kiss the Sky for total Billy eye candy...and to hear him say : "What do you want me to do ..to you...for you...with you" [IMG]

Very good article Crim... and how many of us feel, but we won't get into that again.

I miss Billy like crazy too...especially on Thursdays, even though I don't really watch CSI anymore... :(

gilsgal: I PROMISE a fully detailed account (how else could I possibly do it!?) for you regarding <3 Billy in Chicago :) NO problem!

I've never gotten to see Manhunter or To Live and to Die in LA so hopefully Ash & I can watch them on our days "off" (pre-play) in Chicago this July :)

Glad you loved the article- it was VERY VERY VERY well written & VERY true :) But I agree, don't wanna get into the feelings again....that was horrendous.

Thanks! Yep that's the eppy it's from.:D I love yours too. I always loved that scene in Harvest.
I actually can't figure out why I haven't seen that yet. I mean from what I've heard and seen (pics) I know I'd like it. That line alone would be worth watching the whole movie for.
Those are at the top of my list for our trip and we WILL watch them!;) Thanks for that article. Finally, someone seems to feel the way some of the rest of us do.

Believe it... hearing Billy say those words is enough to compensate for ANY shortcomings this movie has.
We also get to see Billy "au naturel"...no frontal though...but the back view more than makes up for that...

My favorites for pure solid acting, an they were later in his career, were "Gunshy", "Fear" [except ] "Long Gone" [he plays baseball] and "The Staircase", it's a true story, and he's an angel. And his all time best acting for me is "The Young Kennedy's of Mass" where he portrays a young Joe Kennedy Sr. awesome:bolian: the Boston accent, the whole persona, he is in fact Joe Kennedy.. I love his good looks, but his acting is also superior, in these flicks.[IMG]

Hmmm...back view...now I know I've seen that somewhere before. I'd watch the movie just for that. Is that a bad thing? lol

Oh, I LOVE The Staircase! He's just superb in it. Definately, one of his best. I mean Billy=angel, what more could you ask for?

Well, considering I don't have facebook, I appreciate you sending me those pics Amb. Seeing those sort of stirs up the emotions again.:(

Well if watching Billy in a film just to see his "assets" is a bad thing, then a lot of us are in trouble...lol

The Staircase is one of my favourite Billy movies! He is absolutely perfect as an angel...*sigh* :adore:

I agree with all you fans have to say, and BTW, did you all know that "THE BEAST", is now out on DVD. another kinda of cheesy cheap verison of "JAWS" but he's delicious, a younger Grissom, and again he gets drunk in one scene, so beliveable. Trivia:: his daughter in this flick was in two CSI's with him, Missy Rider. So another co-star that remained friends with him. :bolian:

Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one! I feel better now.

I found a two disc special edition of The Beast on Amazon with extra scenes, so I'm in the process of getting it.;) Interesting trivia, DW...I love how when he makes friends, he keeps them and continues to work with them. What a guy.:D

On Missy Crider who played opposite Billy in "The Beast" she was also in the CSI "BURKED" based on a true story of Sandy Murphy who was possibly involved in the death of Casino owner Ted Binion, who ran the "Horseshoe" in downtown Vegas, [she was found guilty, and then a new trial set her free] she was so different in both the film and the episode, you'd never know it was the same person~ There's a short trailer of "The Beast" on her profile~

I have yet to see The Beast. I haven't found it in any of the bargain bins in Walmart or anywhere else, so I guess I'll have to get it off of Amazon. I have seen clips though, and Billy is just ....lol!!!

I love the fact that Billy keeps in contact with his previous co-stars and looks after them, as far as giving them parts in CSI. The guy that played Pinky in Hard Promises, also showed up in a CSI episode, the name of which I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

Here is a link to a TV Guide mini review about CSI after Grissom. Look for the 5th Question down....I figured that it was safer to talk about it here. It seems a lot of the critics feel the same way we do...that the heart and soul of the show is now gone.

I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that Billy would appear next year in a two-parter CSI. I miss Grissom so much that there aren't words that can adequately express the sense of loss I feel, whenever I try to watch the "new CSI". Even Marg has been relegated to the back burner...and that's just not right. I would have prefered for them to focus on the team trying to cope without Grissom..see the difficulties that Cath may be struggling with etc...but instead we have the Langston show...*sigh*
