What did YOU learn today?

I learnt that a privat lesson of 90 min is damn expensive -> 42€ :eek::eek:
schould have paid, more attention high school (realschule)
and now I have to pay 200 bucks for someone explaining me math :(

and I learnt that the German School system sucks!!!!!! those 3 different schools - who the **** needs that????? why not just one school, one diploma which is enough to go to university???
 
My fave band is playing in Holland and I get to go! :D:D

Geography next year is going to be hard. :( And history too..
 
I learn that....
Pressing [Ctrl]+[(L and R)Shift]+[>] together and letting go together in Notepad will align your whole document to right instead of left (default). Pressing it again will turn it back to align left. And you have to wait another minute before trying again. And it doesnt work everytime.
 
I learnt that I can text in english without my teacher seeing! :D
And I can go down to the shops when we are "filming" for Media Studies :p
Also that I can go on the computer and tell my parents I am "Studying" when I am actually on, Bebo, facebook and youtube! Oh how I love my computer :D
 
I learned that saying "I'm sorry" is tough, but it makes a world of difference and can fix things in an instant (sometimes). It's worth it.
 
I've been on vacation for a week so I learned a lot of stuff-
cows laying down means rain is coming
Vinegar takes the sting out of sunburns
Some states don't have a law about which side of the road you can drive on, it's just "courtsey" to use the right side
Saying "I told you so" doesn't feel as good as you would think
 
- My boss is an idiot. :D
- My cat knows how to open the door if I lift him up. :D
- I don't like my job anymore.
 
-I learned that I hate my job with a bloody terrible passion.

-My boss is a jerk, she's lazy, and I can manage the store 90 times better than her.

-I've learned that even if I talk about my associate manager to my chief manager till I'm blue in the face, it won't do anything.

-As much as I need money, I don't half to pick up everyone's slack at work.

Can anyone tell I had a terrible day at work?
 
i learned that cats EAT mice, always thought they're just playing with them (killing them involved)

my neighbors cat left ONE mouse in 5 parts in front of our entrance :rolleyes:
 
Aw, AshleyFirst223, I hope things get better at work. :)

I learned:

-I've got a surprising amount of patience.
-Watching YouTube videos about one subject causes you to dream about it constantly for weeks. (And they weren't happy videos. :shifty: )
-Your iPod is only as useful as the earphones that come with it. :p
-I miss Star Trek Voyager. :eek:
-It's my mom's birthday on Friday. Oops.
-My Maine Coon is supposed to be one of the smartest breeds of cats. o_O Yeah, I'll know it when I see it. I tried teaching him to climb and fetch yesterday and it didn't work out so well for either of us. :p
