Yes, but then what would we do when they decide to have a break for 4 weeks? At least when it airs we get a full run with no breaks (always thinking of the positives). :lol:

It is great to have somewhere to discuss the episodes as they air here, I do have a small request though...I know they have already aired in the US so it isn't considered spoiling as such, but some UK posters haven't read the spoilers or episode discussion threads, it might be nice if, as a courtesy, people didn't spoil it? Spoiler codes would be nice.

Please... :D

If you mean in here, usually the ep is discussed after it aired, but if as much you all would like to make mention of the next ep that has not aired and want to use the spoiler tag then that is fine, but because of the rule of it not being a spoiler we can not force people to do so, but nicely ask to keep those who want to remain unspoiled in mind.

If you mean outside this thread, then I am sorry as you said once it airs in the US (all time zones) then its no longer a spoiler and free to be talked about anywhere in the threads. Theres nothing we can do about that.

I was talking specifically about this thread... Some posters in this thread from the UK have tried to remain unspoiled. I was simply asking that people try to keep this in mind when discussing future episodes that have yet to air in the UK.

I appreciate that this cannot be enforced as, with the board rules, it isn't actually considered a spoiler anymore. :) It would just be nice if people could put next episode stuff in spoiler codes. Just my opinion, I thought it would be nice.
 
As someone from outside the U.K. (lurve you guys, BTW!), I'd have no problem putting comments about future episodes in spoiler boxes, if I wanted to, say, answer a question or something like that. To me, that's only a courtesy in a thread like this that's set up for people who want to discuss CSI as though they're new episodes (which, for this area, they are).

At any rate, this shouldn't be a place for Americans/Canadians to come in and discuss everything up-to-date, anyway... we have the rest of the board for that.

Does anyone watch the repeats on Five US? You know the American womans voiceover? I know her, its my mates sister, well, thats my claim to fame. lol.
 
really you know her, wow that is a claim to fame. Question is that her real voice or is it an accent, coz if its an accent then its a really good one tell her :D
 
Naw her accent is real. Shes a nice lass, funny as. She lived in America for years so she adopted the accent. She's originally from Palestine so her accent is mixed up lmao. I remember when I watched my first CSI episode on Five US and heard it and I was like, whaaaat? I'm sure thats Sal, so I txt my mate, and yup, it was! Wierd huh.

Is the next ep a MCSK then or not?
 
Well, it's a bit early, but as you asked 19ams87, the next one isn't a MCSK. :)

Here is the summary for Leaving Las Vegas:

CATHERINE AND NICK HIT THE ROAD IN AN ATTEMPT TO LINK A KILLING IN ANOTHER TOWN TO A RECENTLY RELEASED LAS VEGAS MURDER SUSPECT.

Alan Rosenberg, real-life husband of series star Marg Helgenberger, reprises his role as tough talking lawyer Adam Novak.

Catherine is determined to connect an out-of-town killing to a recently released Las Vegas murder suspect in an attempt to bring him to justice. -- Catherine's testimony in court is not enough to convict a killer suspected of murdering his own mother. Novak (Rosenberg), with whom Catherine had a brief romantic encounter, is the lawyer who represents the killer and secures his freedom. As a result, Catherine and Nick leave Las Vegas in order to tie the killer to another crime and put him behind bars for good. Meanwhile, Grissom says goodbye to his colleagues and heads east for a teaching sabbatical.

Sounds like a good episode, apart from G leaving. Boo hiss at him lol.

The lass who does the voiceovers used to be a radio dj on a local station here. Wierd when I hear her on tv lol.
 
Yeah, the episode sounds really interesting.

I like that Adam Novak is in it, I wonder what his interaction with Catherine will be like following their last encounter? It's also great to see them out of Vegas, I have always found the episodes that involve travelling out of Vegas to be good, it adds a different dimension to the show.

Grissom leaving on his sabbatical! Good for him I say, maybe he will return refreshed as he did look a little tired and despondent in the last episode. :(
 
^^i hope it will make him seem fresher although i dont think the show will be the same without him. at least it is only for a few episodes!
 
Aww. Love the Griss. But I agree, if he comes back all chirpy, quirky and loveable - like in series 1, I can spare him being off for a few eppys... just this once, mind, Mr P!
 
I have heard good things about the next few episodes so hopefully we will survive without Grissom, although will be looking forward to when he returns. I was hoping for a multiple story episode but doesnt seem like it will be by the look of the preview.
 
What i'd give to have S1 Grissom back!! I agree though he did look so down and upset in the last episode, speshly his discussion with Cath and his quip about 'waking up tomorrow and nobody commiting crime etc etc' lol I know thats not it but I cba to find the actual quote. Awwhh I felt well sorry for our main man.

I cannot wait to meet Keppler! I'm gonna like him I think.
 
Hey guys *waves manically* just found this thred and had to post. No offense to our friends over the duck pond but sometimes it really does suck to be so behind on these episodes so I'm glad we have our own thred :) I'm really looking forward to tonights episode and I can't wait till next week when we finally get to meet Keppler! I'm sad that Griss is going for a bit, but he needs some time out the last few eps he's been looking so tierd and stuff ALSO i really want to see how the team function without him. Billy Peterson is such an amazing actor and he really holds the whole show together even if Grissom isn't you're favorite character so it should be interesting to see what it's like without him and weather or not the other characters will rise to the occasion don't you think?(I' sure they will :D)
