Take a look at the episode review here.

You missed a treat, especially the beginning with the man stuck in concrete up to his waist, refusing to give anyone his name. :)

Oh I saw that bit on YT, with the cute Cath laugh (ooh that rhymes!!) loved that bit. I saw the last half so I played catch up. Grissom looked so tierd, down and out at the end. Sniffles he leaves next week. Boo hiss at him.

grissom is going to take a four week sabbatical where he goes to i think its Williams college to teach about his entomolgy and so we will be introduced to a new character who i hear is meant to be fantastic. But do not fear he will be back not only to finish the season but also for season 8 . The real life reason for william peterson to take 4 weeks off is that he participated in a theatre production called A Dublin Carol so ya know lol hope that helps

oh, ok. that's not bad then. at least it isn't greg! i'd cry if greg went away. we don't get enough of him as it is! :p

Loco Motives

I really enjoyed this episode, there was loads of humour right from the start, the character of Max was really funny and you felt really sorry for him! The story was great the way he lurched from one disaster to another and the bit about how he killed his granny was classic.

Loved the ant trail of jello that Nick and Warrick had to follow too!

Wasnt as keen on the Miniature story this time, found it a bit lacking but I am sure it will all come clear in the end, I like the way they are linking all the murders from each episode and keeping the story running.

They are leading up to Grissoms departure really well too although dont panic its only for a few episodes!

After a couple of dodgy episodes, I felt this was back on form.

I love the funny, quirky stories that Grissom and Catherine do, and the one with Max was well done again. The guy who played him was a real sport.

'Hello, Jim. Cathy here was taking my fingerprints. Will Gilbert be joining us?' is possibly my favourite moment of the series so far. It really tickled me!

How caome William Petersen hasn't picked up an acting award for this show? His response to Ernie Dell shooting himself in front of Grissom was so empathetic. The measured look and pain he demonstrated... I wanted to hug the screen. Bless his little cotton socks. He is playing the strain of burn out very effectively. My heart went out when he asked Sara if no one was ever going to rape, murder or pillage again. So sad. Awww!

Excellent all round performances. Brass was back on his best sarcy form, Cath was hilarious - especially when Max revealed he'd run over his daughter - and Griss was distracted, sad and desperate.

Top marks, guys. Top marks.

yup I agree - that episode was v good.
i loved the bit when max was talking bout buying his daughter a puppy then running her over. i couldnt stop myself laughing.
but i am sad that WP is leaving - even if it is only for a few episodes :(
and greggo needs more screen time - weve barly seen him since he was beaten up.

Don't want to give away too much, but let me say this: if you give it a chance, the Keppler Arc is totally worth it. And I say this as a Grissom-lover.

You will enjoy the storylines Keppler brings in with him, and it is only 3 episodes without Grissom

yeah well - well see.
I really hate being so far behind america when it comes to shows cause then u all know what will happen while i am still guessing. thanx for at least making a uk thread here.

You're welcome, it really is unfair it should be shown all over the world at the same time (ie time wise) so 9pm wherever, but alass life does not work that way and people must suffer from it. As to the thread we try to make it comfortable for folks. ;)
