I really liked tonight's epi it made a change to have them all on one case. The new guy Keppler i had mixed feelings about him but i think he will grow on me.

I really liked this Episode, it is always good to have them all working together, a bit more Nick in this one too which is always nice. :D

Keppler seems like an interesting guy, he obviously has something mysterious about him with all the messages he was receiving. He started off on the wrong foot by touching the body but Catherine seemed to warm to him pretty quickly. Made me laugh when he started going on about CatNip - isnt that the ship name for Catherine and Nick?!!

Dr Dave was creepy wasn't he! Great actor though, and I liked the storyline.

Hodges was on his usual form - he is much more involved now isn't he - when Nick had to go through the rat droppings and got him to help he said "If I start leaking blood from my eyeballs Im blaming you" was classic! I'm liking him more and more in every episode.

Overall I thought it was an easy introduction to Keppler with a good story.

Pretty good episode. Nice plot, Dr Dave was CREEPY! I didn't think it was him at first, them when all was revealed, omg creepy. I couldn't help laughing thought because it reminded me of Dave Cameron (politician dude) because one of his policies was 'Call me Dave!' Lol. Moving on...

Keppler is HOT! Gorgeous smile and he wears a suit all the time. BP is still my main man but Liev is NICE! I think I may survive the episodes without Gman, I missed him though.

Lvodkadiet Yeah CatNip is the ship name, I thought that was kinda wierd too, they musta heard that off one of the forums I rekon. Either that or a coincidence but I doubt the latter very much.

I loved Warrick's open shirt...yum.

Sweet Jane

Before I posted anything about this episode, I have one thing to say, Keppler! Ding Dong!

As you can probably tell from that sentence that I loved Keppler. I thought he fitted in to the cast very well. It was very interesting to see some else take Grissoms role and I also found it very refreshing. I loved the little uneasiness between him and Catherine halfway through the episode, when she kinda put him in his place about having evidence to back up his gut feeling. I did think he got on quite well with Catherine and everyone else on the team. Although he is quite different to Grissom he still had a bit of a mysterious quality to him, which reminded me of Grissom. I loved his line about his uncle in the cafe.

In regards to the story, I thought it was good and it held my interest, although I did think Dr Dave was innocent up until we found out it was him. I wasn't overly impressed to find out he was the killer. If I'm being honest, it made me a little uneasy. I know there is no stereotype for a killer and it can be the last person you would expect, but I really didn't think it was going to be him. The scene at the end in the interview was particularly disturbing. One of the scenes that really did really pull at my heartstrings was the Jane Doe coffins being dug up. It's was very sad to think that these victims, who are not identified, are buried on top of each other in boxes that look as though they would give way at any moment. :(

All in all, it was a good episode and I would give it 8/10 (mainly for Keppler)

Oh, one more thing, I know Warrick wasn't in this episode all that much, but I thought he was fantastic when he pointed out the crime rate to Keppler. Sometimes Warrick will do something that makes me see why Grissom holds him in such esteem.

ITA. Isn't he sexy! Can't believe people on the official forum actually said he was ugly!

Dr Dave being the killer made me uneasy too, very well done. Extremly creepy it being someone so friendly and trusting.

i think it's because like eppler said he reminds you of your favourite uncle or someone like that so for them to have murdered people and not even be bothered about it gives you an insecure feeling.
I think i too will be able to survive these 4 weeks without the bug man i mean one fine specimen of hottness leaves only to be replaced by another
looking forward to next weeks ep i believe it's the one about reverse forensics....interesting

It was complete and utter rubbish!!!!

only joking! :p
well, kind of. there was no greg! N O G R E G!!!!! NO GREG!! :( :(
i was sitting there and every time the scene changed i was like "oh, greg!" but he was never there.

ok, i'll shut up now. :p :D it was a good episode :)

I agree that it couldve done wi a bit o Greg but I must admit I was wrong about Grissom leaving and the show being worse cause Keppler was AMAZING!!!! I love him and he was quite cute as well!

I miss Grissom too but Keppler will do, he's pretty hot and seems like an interesting dude. It's nice and refreshing, still, can't wait for the Gman to return.

I am a bit disappointed with the storyline that a package like that would sit on Grissom's desk for the whole of his sabbatical. Surely someone would open it, especially considering the size of it! I know I wouldnt be able to resist!

i see what u mean Lvodkadiet. especially since it is a crime ab u would think that packages (especially ones as large as that) wold be checked to see what ws in them before they are given to the person incase it is dangerous and from someone they put away.
