According to his listing on IMDB.com, he has recently worked on three films this year and was in a January episode of House. It surprised me that he played Danny Noonan in Caddyshack. I kept wondering where I had seen him before.

The Closer is having a thanksgiving marathon, every episode of season one back to back, 9am to 9pm november 23rd.

Then a 2 hr Special Event Monday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. on TNT called #214-215 "Serving the King, Parts 1 & 2"

I watched it Monday.

Pretty good episode, nice continuity from the second season finale, and I was glad to see Provenza so heavily featured - he's my favorite.

I wish James Avery had gotten a scene, but, ah well...

It was good to see William Davis on television again, too.

I hope the two hour movie is on the second season DVD box set, since it covers so much after the finale cliffhanger!

Do you mean William Daniels? He did the voice of KITT on Knight Rider, played Mr Feeny on Boy Meets World, and Dr Craig on St Elsewhere.

RIVETING..INTENSE :eek:.. I taped it and just watched it late last night!! talk about digging and sifting through so many layers of info.. Brenda/Kyra is so damn good.. she so holds your interest.. amazing actress..{Kevin Bacon her real life hubby, directed the 2nd part} :eek: the story was fascinating.. who was the "mole" I kinda of thought it might be him.. really-really outstanding debut for the season.. I literally sat of the edge of my sofa for the entire show..fired up my dormant brain cells.. and taping is great.. fast forward all the commercials ;)

I assume this was a re-run. although I hadn't seen it!!! the old gang banger scenerio again... she's, Brenda, like a dog with a bone, man, she gets her perp, by her strong will.. some light moments wearing her moms glasses, and her mom knowing she's got a relationship, isn't she a bit old to be hiding that from her mom!!? she's not a teenager.. guess being from the South, their still tight about that sort of thing..it's always good, and enjoyable, good role for Kyra!!! ;)

All the eps will be repeats (with the exception of the one 2hr special that aired). According to the Futon critic season 3 is set to start around June 11, 2007.

Sedgwick Gets More 'Closer' Cash

The Closer" star Kyra Sedgwick is having a pretty good week.

On Monday, the actress won a Golden Globe for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson on the TNT series. Now she's reportedly getting a pay bump that will make her one of the highest-paid actresses on television.

The new deal will pay her in the range of $250,000 to $300,000 per episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In return, Sedgwick agrees to extend her term on the show from six seasons to seven.

Congradulations to Kyra!

FANTASTIC.. I just read this on my AOL news.. she deserves..that's alot of moolah :eek:she was so humble and sweet upon her win, and she looked fabulous.. and one time when the camera scanned over the audience she had her arms wraped around Kevin :p and the daughter has his turned up nose but her brown eyes.. so cute..kinda of a combo.. contiuned good luck!!

TNT is putting Brenda Johnson back on the case in June. The cable network, along with sister station TBS, has announced premiere dates for its crime drama "The Closer" and several other series, stretching from early June into August.

"The Closer," which stars Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick as Brenda Johnson and is among the highest-rated series on cable, begins its third season at 9 p.m. ET Monday, June 18.

TNT and TBS will stream all of their original summer series online, says BroadCastingCable.com. Existing hits The Closer and My Boys and newbies Heartland and Saving Grace will be available the day after they're broadcast.
