OH! For those of y'all that have the WGN network, and haven't yet seen 'The Prime Gig', they are supposed to show it next weekend. In my time zone (US Central Time) it'll air at 11:30 pm on April 8, but you need to check your local listings to make sure of when it airs in your time zone. :D

Hey Jen,

Is WGN the same thing as Superstation Wgn?

Yes, I believe it is. :D

I'll add my thoughts on 'Slaughterhouse' later, I want to rewatch it again, if no one has posted in here at that time, I'll just edit it in to this post.

YAY! Words can't even begin to describe how happy I am right now! I GET to see ANOTHER rory movie! yay! *does happy dance* Is this the one with Vince Vaughn?

Yes, it's the one with Vince Vaughn. :D I'll have to go out and rent it because, I don't get that channel. Luckily they have it at my local Blockbuster, and I rent it all the time so..haha.

:D I'm glad you're going to be able to see it! I'll probably watch it on tv too, mainly to see how it's edited for tv.

ok...'Slaughterhouse', another hard to watch episode. That was my main problem with S1: all the murdered children

That being said, I'd still rate it a 5. I think y'all have already mentioned my favorite Speed parts...but while rewatching it last night, I was reminded of a small part that I always liked. Speed and H are in the lab discussing the case, and they've come to the conclusion that either the father or the son is the shooter, and Speed says something like, "So, you think the kid could've done it?" and right before he says that, he gets this look on his face...I just love that look, lol. :D

It'll probably be missing the Vince Vaughn/Julia Ormond...montage. :p

oh yes...that bit :p...when i was watching it, i didn't know that it had that in it, and when that part came on, my dad was standing in the kitchen making dinner, and its a straight shot from the kitchen to the tv, and i was lying there thinking "Oh my gosh, this is sooo embarassing" so i fast forwarded it...

 Yeah...that part will probably be missing. :p

I just heard 'Sweet Emotion' by Aerosmith on the radio...how sad is it that I can play the entire opening scene from 'Dazed & Confused' in my head while it was on?

are there any scenes like that Vince/Julia montage in 'Black and White'?
because i ordered it, and i'll probably watch it with my mum, but if it has any scenes in it, i'll be sooo embarassed with my mum there, so i'll watch it by myself instead...

 Carly...I'd watch it by myself the first time if I were you...the scenes aren't overly graphic or anything, but if you embarrass as easily as I do, you might want to preview it first. :p *is jealous of Gina Gershon again* I mean I'm 32 and I get still embarrassed watching some things with my parents.

Ok...we've had no new Slaughterhouse comments in awhile, shall we move on?

Next up: 'Kill Zone'

As always, some questions:

How would you rate this episode? (5=Loved it! 1=Meh!)

What are some of your favorite Speed moments from the episode?

What were your overall impressions of the episode?

Also...just wanted to mention, just because we've moved on to the next episode, all past episodes are still open for discussion. I say this in case we get any new posters in this thread, or you happen to miss the discussion of one of the episodes. Just make sure you state which episode you're commenting on in your post.

i'd rate this ep a 5...i really liked it...it completely freaked me out, but i liked it

my favourite Speed moments are:
Speed: "don't these people have anything better to do?"
if i was one of those people, i wouldn't be there for the crime, i'd be there to stare at Speed

Delko: Find any connection?
Speed: Nothing obvious.
Delko: That's good time to look for the un-obvious.
Speed: I'm aware of that. H Says that to me all the time.
Delko: You know, it's great minds ...
Speed: You're unbelievable.
Delko: I am.

and the bit where he says "He's picking up some pictures of his dogs. I hope somebody's feeding them." awww...he's such a cutie...it shows he cares...

overall, this ep was good, but it completely freaked me out like i can't describe...before this ep aired, i would go to the shops with my friends every day after school...and after this aired, i didn't go for about 6 weeks because i was afraid that i was going to get shot by a sniper...

EDIT: hey, Azza4Speed, is CSI: Miami on next week for you?, if not, what is on instead?
because it's not on for me, and 'hotel babylon' is on instead

Wow. I was at the town's new gym, Gentile Hall, and I saw a guy there that looked like Slater. It was random. I kept looking at him and he kept glancing at me and then he walked to the guys locker room.

Kill Zone

Rating: 5

Favorite Speedle moment: "Don't these people have anything better to do?"

Overall Impressions: Excellent episode. It kept me entertained until the end, even if I've seen it hundreds of times. I liked the part where Speedle seems to have given up hope on the case and says "What are the chances you think this guy is going to kill again?" Or something to that matter and Horatio tells him to hang in there. It was just...cute.

It was humorous, had character development (We first found out about Marisol Delko) and it had a fair amount of forensics. The only thing I didn't get what Speedle's granny sweater(Well it's what I call it). The white sweater with the pink flowers across it? :S What was that about? Geez, anyway...

Great episode. I love it. :D

I think I'd give it a 5 too. Although it freaked me out a bit as well, the thought that you can be walking along minding your own business and just be gone like *snaps fingers* that.

 ^^ I love that part too! And I also liked the part where he mentioned the dogs too, Carly.

 That shirt bugs me too...it would have been so much better if it were just white with no flowers on it.

How about no sweater? How about a nice black dress shirt to finish up the episode? Hey I can dream right? :D
