Speed/Rory #7: 'Speed Is The Name Of The Game'

I've come to the conclusion that the scene where Penny and Joel are playing chess is my favorite from that movie. :D

I have started making screencaps, but I haven't finished the entire movie yet. I will share the best of the ones I've made so far though.

That is such a great scene. I bet Rory could totally kick my ass in chess as I've heard he's an avid player...then again, pretty much anyone can beat me in chess as I've only won, like, two games ever, but hey, I'm trying :lol:

*falls* Earlier today I was watching an epi of season 2.. That's when I realized what a fuss everyone maked over Speed's death.. The just now, they were airing 'Lost Son' and I turned it on when H and Speed were in the shoot out.. five seconds before Speed was shot. >__< *dies* That was one hell of an emotional half hour.. I think I have to join the Speed groups.. He did such a good job... T___T I nearly cried. *only really ever tuned into CSI:Miami in the fourth season*

Welcome to the Speed thread, ShuriyuCSI! Were you watching the 'Lost Son' repeat on A&E by chance? I'm not sure where you're located. ;) But yeah...I put it over there to see what episode was going to air and when I realized which one it was, I promptly switched the channel. I've only seen that episode twice, I'm not sure if I can watch it again. I bawled like a baby both times. I do agree with you, the performances by the cast in the episode were spectacular, especially Rory and David.

Oh...btw, do you happen to know which Season two episode you saw?
 
Yes, I was.. I didn't even check to see what episode it was, I just clicked and then shots were fired. ^_^; I swear, I had one helluva mood swing.. It was so sad.. T__T *is going to tape it later to see the full episode* Why did they have to use THAT episode as the beginner of Season 3? I agree, the whole cast was amazing. Rory did a great job then David's part.. He threw caution to the wind O.O

It was on Showcase..

ETA: It was 'Big Brother'! That's what it was. :lol:

yeah, i rented it, and the movie itself was kinda meh...i didn't really like the ending, but all the Rory bits are really cute...i love the scene where he is sitting on the stairs with penny, and the bath scene, do i even need to comment on it? :devil: but all in all, he was really good in TPG...
and i really love this pic HERE...he kinda got the "Aww, mum, do i have to?" look about him...

and yeah, the Miami s2 and B&W should be coming in a few days...right in time for school holidays! :D

Thanks :cool:I have a new photo software and i play around a little. Thank you for the cool Prime Gig caps. I really, really need to see it again. It never aired on german TV but i have an US Import DVD :p I´m one of the worst chess players ever. I never, never, never won a single game. Guess it´s a deficiency in concentration.

a-ha...talk about perfect timing! :lol: I have another question for you. If you've already answered this before, I apologize...I have a such a bad memory sometimes. :p Have you seen any of S2 before? When I ordered the s2 dvds I had only seen maybe 3 episodes of that season, so when I got them in the mail, it was so exciting. :lol: I'd sit up all night watching them, I think I got through the whole season in about 4 days.

You're welcome. :D I'm glad everyone is enjoying them. You know...I bought the dvd awhile back, but had only watched the movie like twice, I think. After watching it on tv again on Saturday, I remember thinking, "Why haven't I watched this more?"
 
yeah, i've seen it all, but i can't remember most of it, because i saw most of it when i was 13/14...it'll probably come back to me when i watch it though...and i've still got a couple of s2 videos that i have almost completely worn out...i've got Blood Moon, Hurricane Anthony and Innocent, so those are pretty much the only ones i remember...
but i can't wait for them to come...i'll probably try to break some kind of record of how quickly i can watch them all :D
 
When i got my season 2 package i knew only two episodes and i tried to be really patient and watch only one episode per day so i could enjoy it for a long time...but i ended up with 4-5 eps a day....
 
i should probably try to do that, except that i have exams the second week back of school, so i have to study :(, so i'll either have to watch them really quickly, or pace myself, and watch them as a reward for studying, because, lets face it, i can't study the ENTIRE holidays...i'll need lots of breaks and relaxing time so i don't get too stressed...and the DVD's would be very relaxing and make me happy :D

Ok and I honestly do NOT get my emotions, being the weirdo that I am watched lost son last night and balled like a baby once again. But I had watched it the other day when I was watching s3 and didn't cry. I just starred at the screen thinking "freakin ann donahue." *shrugs* I really don't get myself.
