Speed/Rory #7: 'Speed Is The Name Of The Game'

*sigh* Oh...the thoughts that came into my mind when I read that...thoughts which I can't post here, or I'd get slapped hard by the PG-13 O'Meter.... :lol:
But yeah...I think I need to watch 'TPG' again too.
Are we ready to move on to 'Broken'?

What are some of your favorite Speed moments from the episode?
What were your overall impressions of the episode?
I can tell y'all right now, I'm going to have problems with this one...this episode upsets me greatly, I don't know if I'll be able to rewatch it or not.
Seeing dead children is terrible even if it´s in a TV Show. You see that Speed is very touched by it too when he sees the body. My favorite Speed moment is definitely when he´s with Eric and this guy comes up and tells that he´s a law student and Speed ends up with "Jackass" i can´t remember the dialoge right now and i´m at work so i cannot watch the scene....

yeah, this episode really made me sad when i watched it...overall, id rate it a 5...it was really well written, but so sad...
my favourite speed moment is that one with eric too, but i like the whole

Speed: No. Look. No, you can't. You know why? Because Now you're a suspect. Go ahead and get comfortable ... legally.
Officer: Okay, let's go.
Speed: Jackass.
it always makes me smile...adds a bit of comic relief to a really sad episode
and i also love the part where he is prcessing the glitter sample, and sorta jamming to the music
and i finally watched TPG...YAY! THE STUBBLE IS BACK!!! i thought he looked really hot in that movie
and a shirtless, wet, dirty Rory in a bathtub?! :devil: woah!
i don't think i should post about this movie anymore, or i might just get slapped by the PG-13 o-meter too

Head of the Graveyard Shift
I'd rate it a 6. I think its something that happens in life all the time, and they actors did a great job with the characters emoitions. And how TImmy could only look at Ruthy once that was just so sad! And this was the first episode we got to see speedy with the headphones one! HECK ESY!
Ok...so I decided I didn't want to rewatch this episode, so I'm basing my review off what I can remember.
First...I'll rate it a 5. Wonderful acting all around, and even though it's difficult subject matter, it's a very good episode.
I also have to agree with what Katie said, it was very powerful the way Speed couldn't look at Ruthie, Rory gets many kudos from me for being able to convey that emotion without saying anything at all, just by using the expression on his face.
I also like the quote that both Chez and Carly mentioned:

I rate it, 5. It was an excellent episode. Jen, I agree with you about how Rory portrayed Speedle in this episode. He really only needed the facial expression to show how disturbed he was about a child assault/murder. I think his line with the stupid Alcapolco guy was hilarious. He really needed more of those lines.
Overall, very good episode. I think Stuart Otis is one of the mosy interesting criminals that we've seen on CSI:Miami. He's not the smartest criminal, but he's creepy. I think the line "I never even got to play with her" really sent a shiver down my spine. It's no surprise they brought him back in the episode Body Count.
Even if the plot was dark, and yet portrays the reality of child murders, the actors did a brilliant job, and the slight comic relief given by Rory at certain scenes was enough to lower the pressure of each scene, however intense it may have been. Very good episode.

I'd rate this atleast a 5. Wasn't the best episode in my opinion, but it was ok.
