:lol: Yes!! That's the part I was talking about, I love that, Speed's so funny in that part. Thanks for posting the dialog Pusher. I was going to, but I couldn't remember the whole thing and I was too lazy to get up and put the dvd back in. ;)

Yes, you're quite correct, lol. I really should be heading to bed. *yawns* I may rewatch 'Ashes To Ashes' before I do though, so I'll be ready for the next episode discussion, although as this is one of my favorite S1 episodes, I'm pretty familiar with it. ;)

I think we'll wait just a bit longer before we move on to 'Ashes To Ashes'...I want to make sure everyone's had a chance to comment on 'Just One Kiss'. When I come back online after I get home from work tomorrow (or later today as it's technically Tuesday), I'll open up the discussion for 'Ashes To Ashes'. I hope that's ok with everyone. :)
 
I just love this quote between Speed and Calleigh from the episode "Bait" in season 2.

CALLEIGH: "You don't think guys who cheat get what they deserve?"
SPEED: "That's not cheating...That's entrapment"
CALLEIGH: "They could say 'no' women do it all the time"

I'd rate this episode a 5.

Favorite Speed part: SPeed: There's not way your gonna beat me with a burnt out car

and then Megan comes in and says "Boys and their measuring sticks.

That part cracks me up everytime, maybe that's just because I'm a big fan of the eric and speed interaction sooo...lol.
 
i'd rate this ep a 4.5...
i really loved the "Boys and their measuring sticks"...i always wanna say that at school when the boys are being jerks, but then i remembered i'min a school with adolescent males and it would probably be taken the wrong way...
i also loved the "I got a preist, shot with a rifle, dead, in a church", i don't know why, but i love they way he said that...with a kind of smugness..
 
The first quote that comes to my mind for "ashes to ashes" is the "Last time i was in church was when Kurt Cobain" died. It´s one of my favorite eps from season 1 so i rate it with a 4.9
 
I really like this episode too. I think I'll give it a 5.

My favorite part is also the scene with Speed and Delko where they're comparing cases. :lol: I dunno, it just seemed so natural, or...ugh, I don't know how to explain it, lol, but I'll say they both (Rory and Adam) did a great job with that scene.

Both cases kept my attention, and it was just a very good episode overall.
 
ok my turn :) i love this epi. evry well done plot and characters presence , i too give it a 5 :D

i like the both case in this epi which CSIM team must solve. the fisrt with the priest...it`s strangely how thing can go wrong side out...again mother defend her kid whit price of killing ...as i remember the kid was search for help from the priest ...but u know guys that sometimes the peoles just stay aside with indifference for ours problmes...
but for me the strong moment in this epi was in the end, when H in the church leave pic of no-born child .... so so sad and it`s make u ponder of this ... i have some girl friends who have make abortion...and when i see this probable pic of the kid 3 y. old ...just want to cry..it`s a little out of topic, but hope u will understand what i have in my mind



HORATIO: What does it look like, Speed?
SPEEDLE: Partial prints under the coffee table. And that's just the beginning.

DELKO: (chuckles) A car explosion. Burned victim. Checking for cognac used

DELKO: That's not bad.
SPEEDLE: Not bad?
DELKO: It's not bad.
SPEEDLE: It's at least a draw. You're not going to beat me with a burned-out
car.

Ok guys I watched Prim Gig for the first time last night. I have 3 words for you all Rory, Shirtless, Bathtub! Very good movie over all.
 
:lol: I loved the Prime Gig. You described it so well, that's probably how I would describe it as well :D

Ashes To Ashes.
I give it a 5. I liked the episode a lot.

My favorite quote was
Speed: The last time I was in church was when Kurt Cobain died. :lol: And then Megan looks at him like 'what are you a retard?' haha.

I just really liked the episode. It tugged at a few heartstrings when Horatio had to take the fetus to DNA, and at the end when he's at the funeral. I liked it when he placed the picture of the little girl near the statue. It showed Horatio had a lot of human qualities. (Now if only they'd just do that in season 4, and stop going so far)

Ahem, Rory was great in that episode, he gave a lot of comic relief. (Geni's phone is ringing *leaves*)

*Geni comes back* Okay so Rory did a great job, and he added that something extra that makes CSI:Miami the planet's most watched show. (I'm sorry but that's amazing and I say it every day. I mean, you'd have to be pretty stupid to leave a show that popular, but okay Rory did it but that was before it was the planet's most watched show, I mean okay so maybe that's not okay, but hey It's Rory Cochrane, he can do what he wants and it's not like it matters, I mean he's doing other movies right?...Okay WOW that was really off-topic)

SO ASHES TO ASHES THEN...

Extremely good episode, one of the best and worth watching hundreds of times (Which I've done...ha imagine that)
 
ok, not related to CSIM, but Rory is shirtless in 'the prime gig'?!, i rented it but i haven't had a chance to watch it yet...but know i have to go and watch it...too bad i'm leaving for school soon...it's going to have to be the first thing i watch when i get home :D

Not just a shirtless Rory, but a wet, shirtless Rory! :p

Ashes To Ashes...is that the one where Megan tries to explain how the Preist's prints might have gotten on the condom wrapper and Speed's just not having it and is like "Sure"? I love Rory's sarcasticness (is that word? :rolleyes:). Anywho, good episode! :D
