PS Thumpy i very much like the idea to go epi by epi and to discuss the plot and Speed this way the consider won`t overstay ...may be in other threads must do someting like this

Welcome to the Speed thread, Pusher! Great to see you in here too. :D I agree, I think an episode-by-episode discussion for some of the other characters would be a good idea...or maybe we could start a thread where we just start at "Cross-J's" and work our way through each episode. I'll think about it some more and see what Lucy's thought's on the idea are as well. :)

I admit, I haven't been in here for a while...I ought to bring a pic or something. But anyways, I agree with you about the 'Wet Foot Dry Foot' epi. I know some people really didn't like this epi because of the case (too boring), but I quite liked it in the sense of the insight it provides, like you said the U.S and problems with immigrants, and also the lengths people go to do certain things, even though they don't turn out the way they want. And in this case, I found it very sad :(

Yes, I liked those lines with Speed too - they made me smile :D And your comment about the non-shaved cheeks cracked me up :lol: Thanks for posting that pic ;)

I agree he makes a good working-pair with Megan. There is an episode in particular where I saw them working together (I think they were in a church :confused: not sure, but it's an early epi in S1) and thought 'hey, they seem to work well together'. Sort of on the same wavelength or something like that :p

for me too is pleasure to be here in this therad. i was look sidelong for few days and try to write my post with answers on ur questions for running epi "WfDf"...i don`t know will i stay here or do it right with the re-play...but till <font color="greenish">Lucy</font> is away may be will be here just to know that one Mod will be take care for me :p

as i rememebr this was in epi 'ashes to ashes' in the end but there was H and Megan in the church and he (H) leave one pic of the kid what never will be born (killed dead woman was pregnant ) . but can be my mistake..

that`s right, this in not the fist epi...i just tell why i think that S/M make good team. he show respect and understanding toward her...this is good way to start one friendship or workteam...yes in 'Golden Parachute' S1E01 is the fist time mention Megan husband .. this was the way writers to explain to us that H is now boss of this team...

sorry my english is not good enough, but u can feel free to correct me always when u whant... ;)

I'm glad you decided to post your thoughts, you always have such great insights. ;) Lucy and I are considering the idea of an 'episode-by-episode' discussion thread, we think it soulds like fun. And thanks for your confidence in me while our Lucy is away. ;)

As soon as this race that I'm watching is over, I plane to sit down w/ my S1 dvds and watch both 'Losing Face' and 'WF/DF' to refresh myself with the episodes, I'll post my coments when I return. Sorry again for the delay, guys.

Ah, yes I suspected that might be the one though I wasn't sure (sheesh, my memory is shocking sometimes :lol: ) I thought Speed and Megan's scenes together were nice, like they seem to get on well and 'connect' somehow.

An ep-by-ep timeline for Speed sounds like a great idea! :) Can't wait for Thumps to finish watching S1 epis again :D and if we do have a timeline, it gives me a good excuse to watch S1 epis again myself :p :lol: (even though I started watching Miami not long ago :lol: ).

Now, I go to watch Entrance Wound :)
 
:lol: Thanks for posting in here wibbs! I came back with my notes after watching 'Losing Face' and 'WF/DF' only to find no one else had posted after me, and I didn't want to edit my thoughts into my last reply, so I waited and no one posted. :(

ok..'Losing Face': I've decided I'm going to change my rating for this episode, I'm giving it a 4.5. Y'all already mentioned most of my favorite Speed parts in the episode, but I'd like to add the line he has at the beginning when Delko is offering Calleigh some of his Cuban coffee.

Speed: That stuff's no good for you, it'll rot your stomach out. :lol:

Non Speed realted note: The first time I watched this episode, I was enjoying a nice bowl of vegetable soup. That changed during the autopsy scene when Alexx told Megan that the blast caused his 'organs to turn to soup'. It was then that I realized that it's not always wise to eat during any of the CSI's. ;)

'Wet Foot/Dry Foot': I give this episode a 5. I thought it was really good, and very touching. Again, you all listed my favorite parts already. I loved Delko's like about the Tiger Sharks about being 'liberal eaters, like Speedle'. :lol: I really liked all the Speed/Delko interaction in this episode, I think you could really tell the two were friends outside of work.

Ah, man I forgot about that quote, I say it ALL THE TIME. Hmm..just one kiss...I don't remember much about speed in that episode, I"ll have to re watch it.
 
I think I'd give 'Just One Kiss' a 3.5, maybe a 4. Probably my favorite Speed moment is the exchange between him and Megan when she's examining the tissue from the female victim's retainer. I love the way the face he makes and the way he says, 'Ouch.' :lol: I also like it when he kinda goes, 'Ugh' and leaves the room when she says she still has to chop up the tissue to test the DNA.

Is everyone proud of me or what? I was first this time! :lol:
 
ooo, i love the scene where he says "ouch" and the face he gives...just before this ep aired in Aus, the only reason i kept the episode before it was because it had a preview, and it had that bit in it :lol:, i'll add some more of my favourite moments in later...

on a sidenote, i finally ordered Miami s2, and Black and White, and i should be getting them about mid-april...i'm so excited, i can't wait :D
 
before i start with my post for epi 'Just One Kiss' want to specify one thing. i don`t have opinion for Megan. i post Speed/Megan pic only because they two was work together in previous epis...i`m not S/M shipper...don`t know did i like or don`t like her. she play too little in CSIM (1-10 epi). but i write this only to replay to your posts guys :p

well, i too can`t rate this episode just because i like/love all epis form S 1-3 CSIM. :D

and here we go with my try 'Just One Kiss' :) this epi was well done. don`t know is this always truth that we become what ours parent's are. but here have a lot of truth in this epi. a lot or a little we are like mam and dad (assembly image), but this don`t means if my dad kill someone i will do it :p just what to say that like the way writers maka the connection between the boy and his father...he (the father) long thime ago too have make crime, the boy too is predisposed to make criem..maybe too pampered and too rich and think that can do what he want without be punishment. and this time H got them both. :) the justice triumph...and agian like in the real life parent stand 'hard' behind his kid, never mind what he/she was done, even raping/killing. the blod is stong...

and now for speed. i like that now in this epis after 1-2-3-4...speed and Delko begin to work thogether...in S1E01 they have too many dissension but with the continuation in S1 the stuff go better...for me is always nicely to see Speed and H thogether..for me the tow make the best work thema in S1...somehow H defend, help, support, respected Speed..i know thta H is a boss but love thta have the right way toward Speed..

hope u guys can make the mass of my thoughts..have a lot of work and i`m in hurry ...sorry for this...

SPEEDLE: It could be her tongue.
MEGAN: Thin epidermis, lots of blood vessels and the sebaceous glands are
separate from the hair follicles. We're talking penis-- tore off.
SPEEDLE: Ouch.
MEGAN: You might want to get a good hold of yourself.
SPEEDLE: Why?
MEGAN: Still have to chop it up; confirm it's Paul's.
SPEEDLE: (shakes his head in disgust) Oh ...
(Speedle turns and leaves. Megan smiles.)


(Calleigh kneels down and sees a piece of scrap material with burned edges.)
CALLEIGH: Unless, of course
(She picks up the scrap piece of cloth.)
CALLEIGH: ... he already burned them.
SPEEDLE: You know what that means. Dig in.


HORATIO: Tyler clobbers the guy ... and glass rains down on his jacket.
SPEEDLE: It's weird how one kiss can turn into such a mess.

Chez ur browser or ur PC don`t have install kimberiea language... that`s why u 'see' questionmarks all over ... if kimberiea tell us from where is...we still will have problem to translate her/his hieroglyph :p

btw kimberiea nice webside u have :) like all the pic there not only CSI M :D 'eight below 'is good move i have see it today - love films with dog in chief roles ;) and for ' Brokeback Mountain ' very handsome mans play in there but the plot is not my type...end out of topic

at last for Miami Japan video it`s was interestingly to watch it. thanks for posting the link :D it`s always curious to see how others country present ours favourite show :) all of the scene are form S1 as i see... right ?!
