It was about 3 weeks after Emma’s meeting with the Sheriff; she took a year extended leave and helping at home due to the fact that her first scan was due.
Emma left Blaze at home with Dwight while she headed to her scan where she told Greg to meet her there.
When she got close to the CBD she called the lab.
“Dr Grissom speaking?”
”Dad it’s Emma.”
“What can I do for you?”
“Has Greg left yet?”
”I don’t know. Why?”
“if he hasn’t left yet, get uncle Jim to drive him to my appointment now! I am not having him miss this because he forgot.”
“I’ve just seen Brass. Cath said she’s just seen Greg. Ladybug I’m on it.”
“Thanks daddy” Emma hung up and parked the car in the hospital carpark.
15 mins later in the waiting room for the hospital, brass walked in with Greg blindfolded.
“Uncle Jim what’s going on?”
“Your dad told me this is how I had to greg here like this & stay with you through this appointment coz this one has to go back to work.”
“Thanks. They should call me in a few minutes.”
Sure enough within two minutes later, Dr Flynn called Emma in.
“This is my uncle Jim. The blindfolded one is my future husband who doesn’t know what’s going on.”
“Your dad rang ahead to tell me that he blindfolded Greg. And said he knows nothing or why we are here.”
Emma climbed up on the bed and pulled up her top.
Brass took Greg over to the bed and Dr Flynn got the scan started.
When she said, “There you go”, Brass took off the blindfolded.
“There’s a head & two shoulders. And another set” Dr Flynn said
Greg stood there shocked.
“There’s the rest of them”
Emma looked over at Greg and said “Greg”
“Babies. 2 more” he said before sitting down in the chair next to the bed.
“Nancy what are we at now? I know twins are usually early”
“Greg, Emma you’re 3 and half months now and it’s September 29th. So I would say between February 10th to 15th.”
