Chapter 25 Part 2
They walked into the house where the food was set up and Gil was trying to keep Greg out of the kitchen.
“Greggers Sanders get out of the kitchen now!” Emma said.
He saw Emma standing at the doorway with her arms crossed infront of her chest.
“Yes Ma’am. Can I get some sugar?”
“if you behave tonight. Now come meet your future brother-in-law”
he walked over to them and smiled extending his hand to Tony “Greg Sanders. I didn’t know Emma & Gil had any other family.”
“Lt Antony Nikolas Grissom. I’m Emma’s older twin brother. So your Blaze’s father right?”
“Blaze’s father but not Lincoln or Dallas”.
Everyone went up to his or her rooms at different times until 6pm.
When Dwight attended to Blaze & Cruz, Tony was on the front steps with Emma & Greg talking about life.
That was until Sam, Lily, Catherine and Lindsey turned up.
“Evening Emma” Sam stated as he saw as sitting here.
Aaron walked through the front door and saw his Lindsey standing here. He walked up to her avoiding Catherine and kissed her on the lips.
“Tony this is Sam Braun, Lily Flynn & Catherine soon to be Brown” Emma stated.
Tony shook Sam’s hand saying “Nice to meet you Granddad. Emma has filled me in that Mom was your daughter not Colt Stokes. Lt Antony Nikolas Grissom , ma’am, ms Catherine. Who’s the one little brother Aaron is snogging?”
“That’s my daughter Lindsey. Gil never told me that he had another son” Catherine stated.
“Emma and I were split up after mom and dad’s little hiccup. I’m the older twin. Ex-army and I work with Nancy Flynn as a doctor.”
Greg smiled as they were escourted inside.

Before dinner started both the mayor and Heather turned up.
The second the twins walked through the door Dallas crept up behind Emma and hugged the back of her legs.
“Hi mom”
Emma turned around and smiled at her daughter “Hello Dallas. Oh man darling a black eye. 3 weeks into school and you get into a fight. Dropping grades last year. I’m going to have to do some thinking about your future.”
“I’m sorry mom. It’s just I lost my temper, I cant help it. Don’t be mad at me”
“I’m not mad I’m disappointed. Where’s your brother?”
“Talking to that tall guy” pointing to Tony.
“That’s your uncle Antony.”
Just as everyone was mingling the doorbell rang.
Emma headed to the door.
“Welcome” she said opening the door.
There stood her uncle ben and his family.
“You cant be Emma. You’re so beautiful”
“Thanks Uncle Ben. Introductions please” emma said seeing two boys in their late teens, 1 boy who was in his early teens and 2 little girls in the same dress plus a beautiful mocha skinned lady.
“this my wife Cassie. That’s Ben Junior & James. This is Joey, my two little twins are Angel & Rachel”
“Dad is going to be shocked to find out his baby brother has a bigger family than he has.”
“where is he?”
“Follow me.” Emma said guiding them into the dining area.
Emma noticed her dad and Sara sharing some public affection on the sofa.
“Dad can you two break it up?”
“Emma. Okay sorry!”
“Dad, Uncle Ben’s here”
Gil noticed his baby brother and some mocha skinned children.
“Benijam, it’s good to see you!” He said taking his baby brother into a hug.
“You too Gil. This is my wife Cassie and our children Ben junior, james, Joey, Angel and Rachel.”
“This is my fiancée Sara carrying our triplets. The rest of the family will be introduced tonight. Excuse me a moment!” gil said after seeing the Sheriff.
“Alex.”
“Gil what can I do for you? This is a great party! How can you afford a place like this?”
“Greg & Emma own most of it. I was hoping you would approve some time off for me”
“How much do you need?”
“Just a few weeks and then for the next 6 months I need to take time off so that Sara can rest a bit but just when she needs it”
“ Gil you know Ecklie was charged with domestic abuse and a 15 year old murder”
“Yeah why are you mention it?”
“His job is open and I put your name up for nomination. It means more money & vaction time. If you take it up then you need to find a night supervisor”
“ I need to think about it. We need to make our way to the table.”
Emma’s POV
People headed to their chairs.
The evening was great. So much happened, like Aaron telling me that tonight was the night he and Lindsey were going to take it to the next step. Lindsey was spending the night at Sam’s house, so Catherine & Warrick could have a day to themselves.
