Greg went back to work and Emma headed home.
When Emma walked in the door she saw Dwight holding Blaze taking to an older woman who wasn’t his mother.
“Dwight I’m back. Where’s Sara?” Emma said walking over to the empty photo frame and put in the ultrasound picture of the twins.
“Giving the birds & the bees talk to Aaron. Um Em are you going to say hello to your visitor?”
Looking over at the other chair was a older woman with a hearing aid in each ear sat there drinking a cup of tea.
“Nana”
“Oh My God baby Emma. You’re glowing?”
“Nearly 4 months pregnant with twins.”
“Dwight didn’t tell me who Blaze is? Who is he?”
“He’s your great grandson. Aaron is your grandson & so is Antony but we don’t know where he is.”
“I know where Tony is. He’s in his last year of being a medical intern at Merseyside Clinic here in Vegas, living with your uncle Benjamin & his new wife.”
“Oh I’ll have to get his number from you. Dwight after you put Blaze & Cruz down you can have some time off.”
He nodded and took Blaze up to bed.
“So Sara is Gil’s partner? Aaron & Cruz are?”
“Yes but soon to be wife. Aaron is Sara & dad’s son, he’s 15 and left high school last year and now is going to grad school. Cruz is biological neither of their but he is my half brother.”
“Caitlin. I heard through Gil.”
“Nana do you have Tony’s number?”
Emma’s POV
We saw Aaron run out the house to the back yard and then Sara waddling in. Nana passed me Tony’s number.
“Sara, this is my Nana. Dad’s mom. I have a phone call to make.” I turned to Sara and smiled.
I left Sara & Nana talking while I dialled Tony’s number.
Within 2 seconds it was answered “Antony Grissom speaking?”
“Tony big bro how you doing? You know who it is?”
“OMG Emma. How did you get my number?”
“Nana gave it to me. So a medical intern nice. I was thinking that you might want to come over and meet your nephew and half brothers!”
“When and where?”
“Are you free now?”
“Yeah I’m off today. I heard about mom, the truth. Did she leave me anything?”
“Sorry. 2900 Red Rock Scenic Drive off Blue Diamond Road.”
“I’ll be there. See you soon”

I picked up the phone again and dialled a number.
“Benjiman speaking?”
“Is this Ben Grissom son of Marie Grissom, Baby brother of Gilbert?”
“Yes who is this?”
“I doubt you remember me but it’s Emma. Your niece”
“Little Emma Grissom-Clarke. How have you been?”
“I’m good, I’m getting married soon but then again so is dad”
“Gil’s getting re-married. So why do I get the honor of this phone call?”
“I’m having a celebration dinner tonight. I want to invite you and your family? Tony’s coming, my grandfather, my financee’s family. Future mother’s family”
“We aren’t doing anything to night. Do we need to bring anything?”
“Yourself. 2900 Red Rock Scenic Drive off Blue Diamond Road. At about 8pm”
“is there anything I need to know?
“ you mean like family?”
“Yes.”
“Dad and Sara have 2 kids and are expecting more. I have 3 kids, 2 whom I’m inviting tonight. One who is 10 months old. My grandfather is Sam Braun he’s also my neighbour”
“um okay. So well see you there at 8pm. Bye”

a few calls later I rang Auntie Heather who was the adoptive parent of my two older kids.
“Clarke residence, Lincoln speaking?”
“Lincoln it’s Emma”
“Hi mom. Aunt Heather told us today. How’s Blaze?”
“He’s good. How’s Heather & Dallas?”
“Dallas got taken to the principal’s office. Heather has gone to pick her up why?”
“Do you know if you guys are doing anything for dinner? Who’s there with you?”
“Zoë. Not that I know of why?”
“You guys are coming here. You are going to meet your Grandfather, new grandma, new father & Great grandma”
“What’s the address?”
“2900 Red Rock Scenic Drive off Blue Diamond Road. At 7pm okay.”

“I love you too Lincoln & Dallas too”.
Just then dad walked into the kitchen.
“Who is Lincoln & Dallas?”

“Twins and they are 13 this year but both in junior high school. The reason I get they way I do about Rape is…”
