They surely are doing a great job with the make up department except for Calleigh . Sorry, but I will never believe she was like this back in 1997...guess I was kinda expecting her with some hairdo like the ones from "The Nanny" :guffaw:

Yeah, they could have given her Maggie's hairdo.. the short bob. She could have worn a wig. I can't really picture her with Fran's poofy hairdo though. :lol:

I also think young Ryan would be skinny/twiggy. :lol: It'd be easier to find a skinny/twiggy teen who looks like Jon than it would be to find a chubby one. :lol:

Ah, The Nanny! I LOVED that show. I still do enjoy catching it on Nick at Nite. I felt so old when the folks at Nickelodeon started airing repeats.

I definitely could've seen Calleigh with Maggie's bob. I think the shirt they put her in for the flashback is kind of wrong, though. It looks too much like something Calleigh would wear today, not 12 years ago.

I'm investing most of my faith in the post-production work to make the cast look younger. It's amazing what they can do to change the look of the shot. There's a photographer on Flickr who has found many of the locations the show has used in California, and will place his pictures right next to screen caps from the show. It's cool to see that it's obviously the same place, but the lighting can be a lot different.

They could brought a wig and be done with it, but no. Which is kinda sad as it seems the flashback is surpose to take the weight of the Delkostoryline in present time.
On the DVDS there is a walktrough of postproduction I was surprised at the amount put in to postproduction. Scenes blured at the bottom but not top and the coloursceme ORANGE sky??. But as they said that is the theme of Miami. My take is then LV brown and NY blue???. But I hope there is some surprise left for us still.

As for Emilys exit: 1. Yes it might happen that way 2. it might be this year. But the show still has to recover from Adams exit before that happens.

Think anyone might be jumping the gun or have faulty intel on the possibility of Caleigh leaving? To me it sounds like the beginning of a fan fic. Being a fan fic writer, I'm not casting aspersions on anyone that might choose to run with it. I just don't think it sounds plausible or rational where the show is concerned. I mean, they've done plenty of outlandish and freaky things, but this is too real and far too out of character for Calliegh. Don't see it happening unless Emily is already pregnant and the writers can't find a way to write it in and she's just too icky miserable to work beyond a certain point. That's the only way I can accept Calleigh leaving.

I know!! And I love your stories ladyd10. I'm not fooled easily and people that lie, I try to just ignore them or something...but this, I wanted to know for sure before I decided to bring it up to this girl.

Seeing as to how they haven't even written Eric's exit yet, I find it highly doubtful that they've already written Cal's exit. And why would she be going to Rio anyway? The Rio thing with Eric and Horatio happened years ago. That place is way too dangerous that they barely got out of there alive. I don't think Rio will come back into play on Miami again. I don't think they have eps written that far in advance either.

What site did you read that on anyway? Emily leaving so soon after Adam would suck. However, I don't think Emily has resigned with the show either....her contract was up too at the end of last season. But again, I highly doubt they have planned anything that far in advance for anyone. They might have some storyboard ideas but that is way too specific for something that far out. It is possible though, if Emily gets pregnant in real life and the writers need a way to write her off for a while...still that is not a story or scenario I could see happening on this show.

Yeah, that's the one I stumbled across this morning when I was on twitter.
She doesn't seem to update it very often and her tweets seem to match some of Adam's. The one tweet that made me suspect if it's really Emily is the one saying 'it's alright to be single...'..and, correct me if I am wrong, I don't think she is single.

Yeah that's when I first suspected if it was her or not. And then as I read her back tweets there were some saying. "I'm welcoming Jordan something into the word. Auntie loves you." it was something like that
It just didn't sound like her at all.

Thanks for posting that link silentdisco. It's quite interesting watching how much they use image editing programs in order to get some really cool caps from the show. I love it :thumbsup:

Now on to Emily, I have mixed feelings about it.

I've been having the feeling she might leave the show for so many reasons even if it can be right after Adam's departure. It's not like that a person who wants to leave the show won't do it b/c someone else did it before her. If she wants to leave the show, she'll do it no matter if she's not the first one to do so. I know that we're talking about Emily, but let's not forget that we're talking about TV too

As for the storyline for her possible departure...well...while I've always dislked Calleigh's relationship with Eric and I'll always do, I just can't get over that something about it is missing when Eric is gonna leave. I mean it's not like that Calleigh won't be affected by what happened during s7 finale or anything else during the s8 premiere.

I'm quite sure that a person like Calleigh needs her own spaces/times to reflect on everything...so I think it's kinda cool to have her leave the lab for a while.
What doesn't suit me with this storyline is the fact she's going to Rio :wtf:. She's never been to Rio, why should she go there? Did she discover that some Brazilian relatives she never knew?

Plus, as some other people have already said, how is it possible that we know Calleigh's departure storyline even before Eric's one?

Again, I don't know how I feel about this. All I know is that anything is possible! Never say never!

As for "her" tweeters, we still don't know wheather it's her or anyone else, so I wouldn't comment them till we're 100% sure about it

As for Calleigh leaving, there may be a possibility because its said that Emily didn't sign a contract either. But..have my hopes up. If she's talking babies, she may take a leave or exit completely. We'll just have to wait and see.

I hope she stays for awhile; I am not sure that the show could handle that much change at once. Especially, as Wasabi states, since they haven't really have developed Ryan, Nat or Frank at all.

I did read somewhere that Emily really wants to start a family and even hinted that she wanted Calleigh to have one too (actually saw this tidbit on this site), but this was posted before anyone knew that Adam was possibly leaving. Hopefully, if she does start a family the show can work around it and she can stay.
