awww
Lucy! Thanks for your post.
It means a lot for me.
I always thought that he annoys you (kind of). :lol: I knew you don't hate him, I thought you don't care about if he's in the show or not. (I thought a certain red haired man get all your attention.
)
I liked him from the beginning (big surprise), but he became my fav character later Season 3. It was Crime Wave where he captured my heart.
Twiz, I would have posted earlier but the first episode with him aired september 2005 in Austria.
ok, it took me another four months to join here.
the thing about ryan is that his characterization is more 'normal'. He's not a hero like Horatio (I wish there would be more Horatios in the world) or the ladies man like Delko, always cool and always a gf near him.
He's an ordinary guy who makes mistakes in his life and during work and this is how real life works.
sure, there's more behind Delko-the ladies man. He has a vulnerable side too and Horatio, well I shouldn't even start. the post would be too long.
Ryan differs from them. He isn't always cool and hard-boiled. He makes mistakes and if you'r new to a job you don't know everything.
I admit, sometimes it's hard to like him and he did things where even I did this:
but I would say, more people could identify with Ryan easier than with the others and this is why more and more people like him.
and now about 'urban hellraisers.
I liked him so much in this episode.
He was so cute while playing the game and I like the scene where he said to eric that he stopped playing the game because it's too cruel for him. (he didn't say exactly this, but I interpret it this way.
)
He was angry that he had to stay at the lab. typical Ryan. He was injured and he didn't want to take it easy.
the negative thing was that he disappeard in the second half of the episode.
I'll write my eric/ryan thoughts and ryan/cal thoughts in the other threads.
