But if Miami is the world's most watched TV show- does that make Jon the world's most gorgeous man? I think so!

Hm...well...that must be the fact, right? I didn't noticed that Togo must be one of the most watched men (well..we can't ignore that he isn't the only male character) of the world if Miami is the most watched series of the world.
Well I knew it's been the most watched series but I didn't think of the positive consequences. :D

Does my post make any sense?

I'm not sure if that makes him the most gorgeous man on tv but in my eyes it sure does. I've noticed in polls that have been done on here that he's always right on top being everyone's fav. He passes delko up easily. I think ryan is more popular and like then delko is.
It's funny cause when he first joined the show everyone hated him and I remember reading some of the mean things peeps wrote about him. Now look he's loved by all, even with all his flaws, mistakes, and TPTB making him look bad. Jon's just such a wonderful actor and brings out the best in Ryan even when its something bad.

Jon wants to talk to someone? *pulls away from Nikki* He's mine! :p

Jon is adorable.. Or should I say adorkable! :D He's the funniest person I know. Thats sooo perfect. HOT as hell, his arms *faints*, the eyes, the hair, AND he's funny!! He has "the complete package" :D

I miss the TPOTD :( But I love the Mondaypic! :D He looks sooo good.

Well, not quite everyone. ;) I think it took people a while to warm to him as he was the newbie. I liked him from the very beginning and still do. He may have made mistakes, but to me, that makes him an interesting character.

OK I shouldn't have said "everyone" because yes Lucy and Yurek there were a few of us that loved him from the start. I'm just saying he's came a longggggggggg way. He was getting a lot of hate back then and now there's very little, even when he messes up. I mean come on I believe someone even had an ANTI WOLFE thread made..Good Grief I hated that thread and yet I couldn't help but go in there and read the mean things peeps were saying. Now if there were such a thread there would only be maybe 2 peeps in there postin.

awww Lucy! Thanks for your post. :)
It means a lot for me.
I always thought that he annoys you (kind of). I knew you don't hate him, I thought you don't care about if he's in the show or not. (I thought a certain red haired man get all your attention. ;))

I liked him from the beginning (big surprise), but he became my fav character later Season 3. It was Crime Wave where he captured my heart.

Twiz, I would have posted earlier but the first episode with him aired september 2005 in Austria. ;)
ok, it took me another four months to join here. :D

the thing about ryan is that his characterization is more 'normal'. He's not a hero like Horatio (I wish there would be more Horatios in the world) or the ladies man like Delko, always cool and always a gf near him.
He's an ordinary guy who makes mistakes in his life and during work and this is how real life works.
sure, there's more behind Delko-the ladies man. He has a vulnerable side too and Horatio, well I shouldn't even start. the post would be too long.
Ryan differs from them. He isn't always cool and hard-boiled. He makes mistakes and if you'r new to a job you don't know everything.
I admit, sometimes it's hard to like him and he did things where even I did this:
but I would say, more people could identify with Ryan easier than with the others and this is why more and more people like him.

and now about 'urban hellraisers.
I liked him so much in this episode. :D
He was so cute while playing the game and I like the scene where he said to eric that he stopped playing the game because it's too cruel for him. (he didn't say exactly this, but I interpret it this way. :p)
He was angry that he had to stay at the lab. typical Ryan. He was injured and he didn't want to take it easy.
the negative thing was that he disappeard in the second half of the episode. :(
I'll write my eric/ryan thoughts and ryan/cal thoughts in the other threads. ;)

urban hellraisers is a great ryan episode he wears this green shirt i love and there are those great shots of his eyes which come out even more in this green shirt :D

Aw, it's nice to know it meant something to you inge! :) Oh dear, I must have given quite the wrong impression somewhere along the way! I would say, of all the characters on the show at the moment, he's the one I would miss the most if he left, apart from H. H is getting less of my attention these days. He's not been himself since the end of Season 3, and all the S4 drama was way over the top for me. *sigh*
but I would say, more people could identify with Ryan easier then with the others and this is why more and more people like him.
I agree. He is human and he still has alot to learn about how to handle people, but I like how the writers haven't made him a one dimensional character. I find him far more interesting for this reason. I like complex characters. ;)

Twiz, I see what you mean and I agree that Ryan has come a long way. I didn't like all the negative comments that were made when he was new on the show and I'm glad that people have warmed to him. :)

I certainly know i loved Ryan from the beginning there was just something about him...
So i was thinking about Jon;s last name Togo...and as i sat there making my cup of tea it stuck me...Togo = TOtallyGOrgeous...yes it took me a while but i managed to justify his gorgeousness even more so
*looks at watch and realises its time to praise the almighty togo....chants TOGO TOGO TOGO* :p ;)

Togo = TOtallyGOrgeous thats awesome Alex I didnt even see that.

I understand Inge. I didn't watch csim until season 3 and i'm not quite sure what ep it really was that the TOtallyGOrgeous one caught my eye. BUt after I saw him csim became my fav show of all times.. I agree with everyone about how his flaws make him human. I'm sorry but the fact that H is always right and perfect gets on my nerves big time. I'm finding his sayings and parts getting cornier each ep. When he said "burn baby burn." I seriously almost fell off my chair laughing. Somehow I get the feeling that wasn't the reaction they were expecting from viewers. I read somewhere online someone was making jokes about shows and one was d/c saying his lines and how after he says something you expect that "who song" to scream aaaaahhhhh or however it goes at the begining. Back to topic...all hail togo..

Thanks to all that wished me well... I'm feeling better except for my shoulder... it's my right one, I always fall on my right side whenever I seize, and I already know I have a deep contusion, so I wore a sling to school today. I had to practically fight for a seat on the bus and I explained what happened to my Algebra teacher what happened because I was on the computer when the seizure started and we were on the computers today. (So I got 30 testable objectives today! Yayyy!)

I LOVE that POTD, AliGtr!! That pale shirt makes his hair look darker!! Like, I'm so serious. *looks at it again 'cuz it's so purty*

Thank you, szmandatogoholic . I could look at it all day. He looked soooo pretty in Skeletons. And I thought his role was a good one in that episode. He wasn't messing up or getting stuff wrong, he was just being competent and *sigh* pretty. :p

Togo=TOtallyGOrgeous. Of course it is! Why didn't we see that before. It's so true. :D

inge and Lucy , I absolutely agree with you about Ryan's character. He's a rounded character - more so than many of the other characters, I think. We can sympathise with him, and understand what he's feeling, and understand that he makes mistakes, but see the reasons behind them. It doesn't surprise me that people are much more in favour of him now - he's just irresistible - but it did surprise me that some people were so against him without giving him a chance to start with. Maybe they were just missing Speed?

And I have to agree that he was desperately cute in Urban Hellraisers. :p The game-playing scenes were fab. He really wanted to go to the arrest, but had to stay in the lab. :( And he sent Peter Elliott off on a wild-goose-chase looking for Calleigh - that made me laugh. But he did disappear in the last part of the episode. I would have thought he'd be around during the invasion of the crime lab.

My new S3 DVDs dropped through the door yesterday. Yay! :D Now I can indulge my togoholic tendencies to my heart's content. Apart from having to go out to work, of course.

And I have an offering. Two more Ryan wallpapers. One from the series I've been doing on colours, and one based on athlov's rainbow. Thanks to athlov for the pics and the permission to use them. Please visit, comment, take, use, enjoy.

Cool in blue / Taste the Rainbow

He's become my new favorite reason to watch CSI: Miami. I wouldn't mind being arrested by Det. Wolfe. In fact, he could even get rough and I wouldn't go to his superior. ;)
