CBS has announced 11 shows which will be renewed for the 2008-2009 season. This includes all three CSI's, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace, NCIS, Cold Case, Numb3rs and Ghost Whisperer. Sounds like good news to me. :D

YES! okay over the excitement, just want to add in that LV has its own discussion thread on it Here so that it doesn't interferre with other shows. ;)

From a TV Guide online chart of shows in alphabetical order:

Moonlight - Expected to shoot 4 new episodes to begin airing on April 11.

Shark - Expected to shoot 4 new episodes. Airdate to be determined.

Yeah for Moonlight. I hope it's renewed for next season too.

Well you think they could at least have ended Las Vegas with some closure to the show and not left hanging. The show was on 5 years, they could have given it a proper send off.

ok worst news i have heard in the past few years: Las Vegas getting canceled!!! how the f**K can NBC leave the show hanging like that? at least make a few more eps for this season and end it better. this season was the best the show has ever had. Piper was the best thing to happen to Las Vegas she was awesome and had soo much potential.

the way the ep ended was cheap and totally not satisfying in the least to make it a series finale. NBC has no damn patience for their shows if they don't do well.

if NBC ever cancels The Office and 30 Rock i will riot the network lol.

NBC really sucks. They treat their shows like crap, just like scrubs. They wonder why they are doing so badly in the ratings, it is stupid things like this...

We all know Scrubs is in series finale this years. They will get 4 or 5 new episode or they will go straight to DVD.

Leaving Las Vegas is not the only one not in trouble.

NBC- Leaving Las Vegas, Friday Night Light, This show may be Death Slot. Bionic Woman (Cancelled.)

I know someone will be upset when she hear this. Desertwind, read this, CBS- Cane, Unit, MoonLight, This show may be death slot, How I met your Mother, Shark, and could be more. The popular show like 3 CSI, Cold Case, Without A Trace and more show will stay on.

ABC- Men in Tree, Carpooler, Big Shot (has been cancelled.) And could be more. Women's Murder Club, This show they called it Death slot.

Funny how Moonlight was cancelled and there is a lovely article on it in CBS Watch Magazine for April. :mad:

I loved that show and it didn't get a fair shake from the get go.

The CBS Watch site has not been updated yet with the article so PM me and I will scan it and email it if anyone wants it. I can't post pictures yet, sorry. Too few posts. :(

Well....................it's funny I just read Moonlight had new eps coming along with Shark. Thanks to the stupid writers strike, if it hadn't been for them these shows probably would still be alive. Stupid writers.
