i guess all the peanuts in the world couldn't save the show. I think if it was on NBC, it would stay, but CBS has so many high rated shows, it is harder to stay on that network without high ratings.

I am really not sure if this is a good place to post this but I thought I would give folks aheads up who hasn't seen it, its from TVguide Online. So I guess nothing new there... except where is L&O: CI ?

For ER, next season will be their last season (thankfully :p ) I saw some old episodes on our channel KinoTV (I mean there was Lucy...and Maggie Doyle..the JF character) and I almost cried because those were such a good times :p

I think those were the major networks, and L&O CI new eps are on USA (cable network) with repeats on NBC. I wanted to double check because it can be confusing, so I went to the Futon Critic and it said this under additional notes, "the show's seventh season will be split into two halves - fall 2007 (10 episodes) and summer 2008 (12 episodes)". Also it is listed as "returning this summer". Now thats confusing given the split but the strike just about screwed up everything else, why not this too. :p

Thanks for clearing that up :D It's my favourite L&O, We just started to get eppys of original one, where is Dennis Farina and it's... nooo, miss Jerry Orbach so much :sad:

I guess this is going to be different kind of summer, quite many new eppys there.

I totally agree with Jerry gone (RIP) the show hasn't been the same and no one imo can step up and be better, He dominated that role and spoiled it for anyone else.

As to CI yeah that happened this season I believe NBC had to make a choice on what to do with the show so they handed it over to USA with repeats on NBC. A mistake imo on NBC's part but a good thing for USA to have yet another great show on their channel.

It's the news no one here wanted to report, but alas, it must be shared. CBS — which earlier today renewed Old Christine, How I Met Your Mother and The Unit — has opted not to bring back Moonlight for a second season.

Though the vampire-detective drama boasted a fantastically passionate and wonderfully generous (they held a blood drive, people!) fan base, the buzz is that the Eye simply was not happy with Moonlight's retention of its Ghost Whisperer lead-in. At last tally, Mick & Co. were letting slip some 13 percent of Melinda's audience.

For what little it is worth, I'm on a mission to secure for fans some parting words of appreciation from the cult hit's producers. (Alas, Alex himself is currently on holiday.)

I was going to put it on here, but I can't seem to find the show on this thread.

Dynamo1, you forgot one more show that got cancelled is James Wood's show, Shark has been cancelled by CBS. Shark is not coming back for third season.

And women's murder club was done as of tonight too. It won't be renewed next year. Stupid idiots!

On the bright side CBS today officially renewed How I Met Your Mother for another season.:) (I hope they get rid of Britney forever).

Good news from TV Guide concerning Moonlight! Well I hope it end up being good news.

Alex O'Loughlin in Moonlight by Eric McCandless/CBS

I almost hesitate to pass this along, for fear of fostering false hope. But a Moonlight source confirms that Warner Bros. is shopping the show around to other outlets, one of which is the CW. (DeadlineHollywoodDaily says that Media Rights Capital, the firm contracted by the CW to program its Sunday-night block, is among those being wooed.)

The rumored possibility of salvation came just as Warner Bros. was poised to start striking down the vampire drama's sets. Instead, they will hold off on the razing until Friday. — MWM

I hope the CW picks it up or even the SciFi Channel, I love this show. What can I say? I love vampire stories. Besides Alex O'Loughlin is nice to look at. :drool:

Yep CBS got stupid. Cancelling Shark & Moonlight. If they replace them with more reality crap I'll boycott CBS altogether. They never give shows a chance,
