Head of the Graveyard Shift
Okay guy's, I'll be continuing with a new story after christmas.
With Lindsay back, and it being close to dinner, Mac decided they should open gifts. "Okay guy's, should we open gifts now", said Mac rubbing his hands with excitment. "Only you dad", said Lisa. "Quiet young lady, or I'll take yours back". "Owww...I'm scared...as long as it isn't perfume, make-up, a dress, or jewelry, I'll be happy". "Mac....maybe you should give each of the kids one first, and then we will give ours to the team, and than, they can do there's". "Sounds great love".
Passing the kids their presents, they began opening them. "Oh wow....damn dad, a new bat and ball, signed by the Yankees, I love it", screamed Lisa, kissing her dad all over his face. "Alright Lisa, calm down". When Macster opened his, he found his Chem Lab he had been asking for. "Awesome dad, thanks, I didn't think you took the hint". "Of course I did son, now you can begin your quest as a Lab Tech". "Damn right". "Stop that Macster, so far this morning, you and Lisa have said the word damn", said Peyton.
When Jools opened hers she cried. "Oh daddy, thank you, I love it so much". "What did you get Jools"? asked Lisa. "Ticket's to the Ballet, Opera, and Theatre performance of "Cat's". "Nice, said Lisa, how awesome is that for you". Openeing the rest of their presents, Lisa said..."can we play baseball now, Uncle Danno"? "Lisa, there is at least a foot of snow out there". "Awe...you promised, come on, I need the practice". "Fine Lisa, come on Don, Macster, you can play too".
"While the men and Lisa headed outside, Peyton, Jools, and Lindsay sat together discussing why Lindsay ran. "Lindsay....why did you leave"? asked Peyton. "I don't know, I got scared, I wasn't sure if I could give Danny what he needed, plus, Danny wasn't interested in children, and I need children in my life". "Oh Lindsay, I understand that, but Danny only meant, he didn't want children till after a few years of marriage". "I know, but I couldn't help the doubt's, that were plaguing me".
Meanwhile outside, Flack and Danny had made a baseball diamond out of snow. "Alright, batter up", yelled Danny, as Lisa took the plate. "Come on Uncle Danno, smack me a good one". As Danny pitched the ball, Lisa swung, and knocked it clear across the field. "God damn, what a swing that girl has, she could play for the Yankees", said Don. "That's my girl, slugger of the year". "Okay Uncle Danny, my turn, said Macster. "Here Macster, hold it like this, and don't watch the bat, watch the ball", said Lisa.
As Macster watched the ball, he seen it coming towards him, and closed his eyes, as he swung. "Auuuuugh, yelled Danny, as he went down on his knees. "Oh my God, Macster, you hit Uncle danny in the Ba.....". "Don't you dare say it young lady". "Sorry dad, said Lisa, trying not to laugh. "Dan, you okay, asked Don, as he knelt down beside him. "No.....I'm not okay, damn, I can't feel anything but pain". "Sorry Uncle Dan, I didn't mean to hurt you". "It's okay Mac, just help me up guy's".
As they helped Danny up, Lisa still laughing said....."Oh Uncle Dan, there goes your make up session with Auntie Lindsay". "LISA"!!!! yelled Mac, you are grounded young lady". "Sure dad, I'm sure, let's go Macster, we need to tell mom, to get the ice pack".
Have a Happy Holiday guy's.
