When the clock struck midnight, Mac realized how late it was. "Okay guys, bedtime". "Aww...come on dad, it's Christmas, why do we have to go bed"? "Well son...your ten, your sister's are eight, and us adults would like some alone time". "Come on Mac....let em stay up, said Danny, just put down some sleeping bags for them, they'll eventually crash". "Fine...go get your bags, spoiled brats", said Mac. "Thanks Uncle Danny, you are the coolest Uncle", said Jools. "I know, it's a gift". "Yeah...shame your singing isn't", laughed Lisa.
"You got your hands full with that one Mac", said Danny, she's going to give you many fits, before she settles down". "I know, she already does, thanks to a cetain someone, who treats, and plays with her like a boy", he grinned. "Lindsay, you bad influance you, shame, shame, said Danny. "Nice try Danny, I believe Mac is refering to you and your antics". "What!!! no, not me, you're all wrong".
It was at that moment, the kids walked back into the den. "Lisa... where are you Pj's", asked Peyton. "I'm not wearing PJ's, these are my boxers, and my muscle shirt Uncle Danny gave me last week". Mac shook his head, for his beautiful dark haried, angel, looked like...just one of the boys. As the kids snuggled under there bag, Mac turned on the television for them. "Hey dad, can you pass the popcorn"? asked Jools. "Sure love, handing it down, with some juice boxes, the kids watched "SCROOGE", and fell asleep.
"Mac, did you want help bringing down the kids gifts", asked Danny. "Sure, Don, your help too please". As they headed upstairs, Peyton laid her head down on the couch, and placed her hands protectively over her unborn child, and fell asleep. "Mac.....look", said Lindsay. When Mac looked over, he found Peyton sound asleep. "I'm going to carry her upstairs". Placing her upon the bed, Mac changed her into her nightgown, kissed her sweet lips, and her tummy, where their child was nestled, covered her up, and walked downstairs.
"She going to be okay Mac, she had quite a scare today", said Don. "She'll be fine, she just needs to rest. Placing the remaining gifts under the tree, Mac showed Danny and Lindsay to their room. "I'll see you both in the morning". "G'nite Mac". Walking back into the den, Don said...."I'll just take the couch Mac, this way I can keep an eye on the kids". "You sure Don"? "Of course, you go to bed, Peyton's going to need you tonight". "Thanks Don, I'll see you in the morning".
