The thing is, this is the 100th episode, I mean, come on, shouldn't they have spent at least a little bit more money shooting some more of those scenes?
Although, I agree with you Elsie, it does put a smile on your face. Kinda like whoever edits the show has this inside joke going on.
I thought about that - but then I thought about the My Name Is Mac Taylor episode - and a lot of those people had "Mac Taylor" on their credit cards or whatever, even though it was a nickname. Also, my grandmother has her bank accounts set up Middle name, Maiden name initial, last name - her real first name isn't like on anyhting. But yeah, you would expect the SSN to be first, middle, surname.Yeh is his real name's Daniel, which it propable is, then you'd expect both to be Daniel really... I mean on 'formal' things I put natalie
Law & Order has been known to do that too. On SVU, ADA Casey Novak was in a previous episode of SVU as "Vanessa". Also, L&O tends to all run together - like on SVU they've been known to bring over the characters from the regular Law & Order and the captian of on L&O: CI was a defense attorney in an episode of L&O - but Detecitve Mike Logan was originaly in L&O and then came back on CI.Not so much an editing mistake as a major casting faux-pas, but has anyone noticed that Bess Wohl was a SUSPECT in season one?
I double checked my theory on IMDB and she's credited as 'Aubrey Davis' in the episode "'Till Death Do We Part".
I know it's common to have actors play different roles in the different CSI's (hello, Carmine. ) but to have one actress play two different characters on the SAME show, is a pretty big oversight.
In Wednesday's episode (She's Not There) when he's telling his shirt story, he mentions that it was in Staten Island.Ah God, I'm glad there's a thread for this. Cuz there are two major things in Danny's backround that have ALWAYS bugged me. They're not exactly mistakes, so much as...inconsistencies, which bug me just as much.
1) Danny swears on his mother's grave twice (he uses those exact words in On The Job) but in Run Silent, Run Deep, he reveals that his mother is alive. Is this cuz he doesn't like his mother or somethin', cuz I didn't get that vibe from him. He actually seems like more a mama's boy to tell ya the truth.
2) Wiki and almost all other TV sources state that Danny is from Staten Island, like Carmine Giovinazzo himself. HOWEVER, in Tanglewood and RSRD, he says he grew up in the same neighborhood as the gang and played ball with them. But the REAL Tanglewood Boys are stationed in Yonkers, a city right outside New York. Now, I haven't seen all the episodes, but I've never actually heard Danny say he's from Staten Island. If anything, he's strongly hinted at being from The Bronx, which borders Yonkers. So, where did they get Staten Island? Maybe TPTB don't have any control over it, since TVGuide and Wiki are known for filling in their own blanks, but still. A little confirmation, or even consistency would be nice.
Anybody notice that they reused that warehouse/police car scene again from Snow Day? And also a clip from Charge Of This Post in the latest episode?
