Ooops, What a mistake!

Did anyone notice in Commuted Sentences that when Lindsay comes to the crime scene her hair is longer . When she and Danny go back to the crime scene and do the reenactment her hair is a little shorter :rolleyes:and then when she is wearing the green sweater and walking down the hall with Danny and Mac her hair is really short:confused:. Then when they are all at the table trying to figure out the connections of the three women her hair is longer agian like at the crime scene. It leads me to believe that this episode was shot on 3 different days!!

2) Wiki and almost all other TV sources state that Danny is from Staten Island, like Carmine Giovinazzo himself. HOWEVER, in Tanglewood and RSRD, he says he grew up in the same neighborhood as the gang and played ball with them. But the REAL Tanglewood Boys are stationed in Yonkers, a city right outside New York. Now, I haven't seen all the episodes, but I've never actually heard Danny say he's from Staten Island. If anything, he's strongly hinted at being from The Bronx, which borders Yonkers. So, where did they get Staten Island? Maybe TPTB don't have any control over it, since TVGuide and Wiki are known for filling in their own blanks, but still. A little confirmation, or even consistency would be nice.

From the beginning of episode 4x2 "The Deep":

Flack: Our vic's this way. Floater, showed up in the middle of the sailboat race between New York and New Jersey.
Danny: I read about that. It's a reenactment of a race that happened back in the 1600s.
Mac: Yeah. Legend has it the winner got possession of Staten Island.
Flack: Is it too late to give it back ?
Danny: Yeah, very funny Flack !

This implies that Danny is from Staten Island.

I just thought that they were joking about giving back Staten Island, but now that I really think about it, yeah, it kinda makes sense that it implies that Danny is from Staten Island. Altough, I thouht he said somewhere that he grew up on the East Side (episode where he eats an insect). Now, I am not 100% familiar with NYC, but where is the East Side? Isn't that Manhattan? I could be WAY off on that one. Can someone point me in the right direction on that?

Re: Day to Night in 60 seconds....

FlackFan01;749628I think I noticed something like this in All in the Family said:
Yes, the body is found during daylight hours, but Mac is talking to the daughter while she sits in the ambulance - it is nighttime. Although, that could also be explained by simply saying that enough time has passed and that he is just trying to talk to her before she goes....wherever she is going after she is done at the scene, and the investigation has just taken that long (and that she was needed at or near the scene for so long).

Any thoughts?

I noticed a mistake in Boo, In the scene where the coffin is being exhumed there is a shot of a store front with cars and if you look past that and into the background you will see a palm tree.

What? You mean palm trees don't grow in NYC? I think I've seen a few!!!

There's something that's been freakin' me out for soo long: In several episodes (like All access. Hung out to Dry, Can you hear me now..) the blood on shirts or so is glaving red even after hours:eek::wtf:. That's weird.

I KNOW! the one Mac pulled out from the luggage supposed to be brownish black & dry. Even the shirt is supposed to be brown, because the incident Mac was in was like, what? 30, 40 years ago?
(Can You Hear Me Now?)

They really play with the ages on this show. They also did this with Mac's character. He and Drew Bedford weren't supposed to be that far apart in age if I remember correctly. Yeah, right

Did TPTB really expect us to believe that there is only a few years between Mac and Drew? All I could think was "That's him off of Dawson's Creek" it just blew my mind. Gary Sinise is in his 50's and Kerr Smith is in his early 30's. As much as I adore Mac (and I do adore him (see what I did there? hehe!!!) ) that is just too hard a push on the senses.

I understand what you are saying. But: 1) Gary doesn't look his age (at least, I don't think so), and 2) did they ever reveal Mac's age? Or Drew's? I mean, you probably could fluff it a bit. Just a bit...

I thought we women were allowed to change our minds! JK! Yeah, that was definitely missed before they aired that episode!

I don't know whether this is a trick of the light or what (I'm also slightly colour blind), but in Can You Hear Me Now?, when Mac tells Stella about the phone calls he received while in London, in the flashback, his t-shirt changes three times!!
Here, it's dark blue:

Then it's grey:

Then it's mysteriously white:

That's one quick wardrobe change :D

Ah, okay. I remember now. I guess being blonde, blindsighted and colour blind is a bad combination and the fact that I've only seen that episode once :brickwall:
