Good morning, ladies!

New theme! :eek: Hot theme! I almost missed it! :eek: I fell asleep on the couch last night, watching CSI: NY. The epi wasn't that exciting...(Though Danny gave us some serious arm!porn) When I woke up two hours later I just stumbled into my bed....

Thank God I just have to work until noon today, my heating needs to be fixed and the craftsperson will come to my place "between 2 and 4 pm" Quite a stretch...

Thanks for the all the support yesterday...things went well, however, no offense to Nick but I could have used Archie last night. Couldn't get the darn video to work for the narcotics segment! But, Nick was a comfort anyway!

Jacquie Yes, I'm with a County Sheriff's Dept. (can't say which one though! ;) ) The Undersheriff was kinda useless, as expected...what a politician! That's why it was nice to have Nick with me to keep me calm!

Great pics this morning...keep 'em comin'!

Whoa! 40 posts! He really is hot stuff!! I need a big Nick-fix this week as I am away next weekend and then back for a day before going on holiday for the rest of the week! No Nicky, how I will miss him....I'm thinking of following your idea Jacquie and taking a pic of him with me in my purse! :lol: To stare at on my long journey and keep me company during the dark nights. ;)
 
Elsie, do you have a cell phone that has a camera? If so, find your favorite Nick pic on your computer, use the camera to take a picture of it and set it as the background image on your cell phone. That way you can see him everytime you use your phone!

Um...not that I would know...or that I am too obsessed... :rolleyes:

Ok, so everyone keeps asking me, "wow, is that guy on your cell phone your husband?" Ahhh....Yeah! Yes, he is! :lol:
 
*giggles furiously*. Great idea McStokes ! Am just going to look for my favourite pic and do just that (also going to do it on my work cell phone so I can see him whenever my annoying clients call). :lol:

Although, my cute kittie who currently adorns my phone won't be happy about being usurped in this fashion....Am so angry at work at the moment too, George will help to calm me down. I wanted the afternoon off to watch Evel but instead I have been left in charge, I have already made one girl cry....there is a reason I'm not a manager of people! :rolleyes:
 
Wow. Ok, Elsie...I'm handing Nick over to you for the day/night! I promise he isn't too worse for wear after his night with me...in fact, he just can't keep smiling! Hmmm...
 
Elsie by all means borrow Nick for the day and evening. He's such a comfort to have around.

McStokes I like the phone idea. If I ever need to replace my 7yr old phone I may restort to a phone with a camera just so I can look at Nick more often. :D
 
Oh, you should upgrade the phone for that reason alone! I only ended up with a camera phone as a new battery was going to cost $50, and a new phone with rebate was only $75...seemed logical to me!

I spent a very csi-ish afternoon with the guy who fixed my heating. Unfortunately he's a short, chubby and pretty old guy... He arrived with tons of equipment - a silver field kit, a black briefcase and a ladder :)
He dismantled the boiler and gave me a speech about the bad condition of it and that I could've died from CO2-poisoning. I beamed at him and said "And I would turn hot pink then, I know!" He said pink's not my color, though :)
He then cleaned the thing wearing gloves, and put it together. Needless to say there was a screw left over, so he had to do it all over again... :lol:
Then he pulled out a strange looking machine to do some measuring, took another little machine out and printed the results for me.
And now that he's gone I noticed he left a wonderful black palm print on my orange wall! Need to investigate how to get rid off it :)
But at least the heating works again.

Guys, we've been very busy posting :D I like that!
