NCIS: Los Angeles

I paused the dvr on Hetty's NCIS application, holy cow, the things that she has done! This woman is a treasure! I would not want to be on her bad side

I'm going to have to go back and check that out. :shifty: I went back and checked out Callen's 'Death Certificate' wondering if they might have actually put a first name on it. No suck luck! It's still just G. Callen. I've kinda had the feeling that Hetty might just know it and isn't telling. She's waiting for Callen to remember what it is.

Yes, definitely go back and view the document! One has a bunch of *unknowns* on it, but the first one is just chock full of activities. Gold medals, marksmanship, I've forgotten what else, but it blew me away when I read it all. It's got all the correct NCIS Directors names since the show has been on too, all the way back to Morrow. Good continuity!

I remember when the German man she was *married* to called her a vicious pixie, that had me totally

Amazing season finale! I did not see that coming at all.

Still not liking Lauren (is that her name?) but I did like the little chat she had with Callen in all the different languages. I would have much preferred they'd let Claire play a British character though as her American accent doesn't sound strong to me at all...

The whole team turning their badges in was a really nice touch too, as was them all going to Prague together.

Can't wait for Season 3! I can't imagine Hetty being very happy she's gone to all those lengths to make them think
Callen is dead only for him to turn up all guns blazing (literally) on their doorstep though!!!

From TVLine:

Matt's Inside Line
NCIS: Los Angeles | We love it when show boss Shane Brennan starts a sentence with: “I’ll tell you something I don’t think Ive told anyone else….” This time around, during a chat at a Wednesday-night Television Critics Association soiree, he shared with me that not only does Season 3 pick up a mere three minutes after the finale left off, but the proceeding 43 minutes of the premiere will unspool in “real time” a la 24. “It has a narrative drive that is such that you should really go to the bathroom before you watch this show,” he advised with a chuckle. “We cocked the gun, so to speak.” Among what’s on tap, including the next surprising beats in the “Who is Callen?” story: A main character gets shot, “and the ramifications of that resonate for four episodes.” What’s that season premiere date again? Oh, yeah – Tuesday, Sept. 20.
"Who is Callen?" --- I can't wait!!!
As for a main character getting shot - I hope they aren't getting killed.

Susan

At least we know it probably won't be Deeks, he was already shot this season

I do hope it's not Callen though, and that whoever it is doesn't die! I like the show exactly the way it is, and that's assuming that Hetty will return at some point. The premiers I'm most looking forward to is CSI and NCIS LA!

The whole "Who is Callen" thing totally made the song "Who is Johnny?" from "Short Circuit" pop into my head LOL. It'll be interesting to see where they go with that storyline, with the way they left things in the season finale... especially where Hetty is concerned.

Is Nate still considered a main character, because if so I can totally see him being the one getting shot and then being on crutches for a couple of weeks... or did that already happen and that's why I can picture it in my head? I'm so forgetful LOL. If its not Nate, then I'm thinking it'll probably be Sam. It would be most interesting if it was him because he's such a big, tough guy and for him to have to have help getting around would be interesting... he'd probably be wanting to do everything himself, but then tries and is unable to. All the other characters have been injured before aside from Nell and I don't really think they'd have her getting shot. Unless they are considering Claire Forlani's character a main character and she's the one who gets shot.

As long as Hetty is sticking around, I guess I can handle Claire Forlani!
Thanks for posting that article Shane!

NCIS: LA, please! Who's going to get shot in the season premiere! -- Danni

Oh, I'm not telling you THAT. But what I will tell you is some intel given to me by the lovely Daniela Ruah about the huge shake up caused by new operations manager Lauren Hunter. "She continues to create a little confusion by swapping the partners around a little bit. It gets us all thinking, 'What is she doing?! What kind of control is she trying to assert over us. It's exciting," she says. "When I was reading the first episode of the season, which was written by [showrunner] Shane Brennan, it was like a movie script." So who does Kensi end up with? "I'm not going to tell you who I'm partnered with! But to be working with either one of these guys ... they're so great to work with. It changes the dynamic of things and it makes it more interesting for the audience, too."

I'm really hoping you have some NCIS: Los Angeles scoop? — Thomas
ADAM: How's this? In an early Season 3 episode, all the agents will be forced to swap partners! "Hunter puts us in this situation... and it screws up the whole dynamic," Eric Christian Olsen tells us of the super-covert mission. "Deeks ends up with Sam... and [he's] really trying to jostle for position, because Sam's the man. He's the Navy Seal, but Deeks is like, 'No, I got this!'" Anyone care to take a guess who wins that battle?

This one sounds like it's going to be fun! Deeks and Sam!!! :guffaw:

Susan

Well, if they're swapping partners, Sam/Deeks would be interesting because Sam finds him annoying lol. But this means Kensi and Callen will be paired together and that's something I always like to see even though I adore Sam and Callen's friendship and interaction.

I really hope Lauren Hunter doesn't stick around too long. I want Hetty back as the boss and I want Lauren gone. She does NOT fit in with the cast at all. Perhaps if they had hired someone else... but Claire Forlani doesn't mesh with the rest of them.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 3 First Look (click for 2 pics)

NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 2 finale saw Callen & Co. turn in their badges and headed overseas in search of Hetty, who resigned from NCIS to protect Callen from the Comescu mob family.

There's just one problem: Hetty (Linda Hunt) turned herself over to the Comescu clan before Callen could find her. And based on the exclusive first images of Season 3 below, the search will continue.

In the photos, Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) regroup in an abandoned building in Romania as they try to determine where Hetty is and what their next step should be. But it sounds like Hetty's location isn't the only thing Callen will learn during his stay.

"No cheats. No maybes. [This is] the most revealing episode yet about Callen," executive producer Shane Brennan tells TVGuide.com. "And yes, Hetty holds the key."

Is that key the mysterious tattoo Hetty showed the Comescu leader (Cristine Rose) in last year's finale? We'll have to wait to find that out, but the answers about Callen's mysterious ties to this family will come much sooner, Brennan says.

"What we reveal in those first four episodes is more than what we've revealed about Callen's backstory in two seasons," Brennan says. "When we get to that fourth episode, I think everyone's going to take a big deep breath, and say, 'OK, where's he going to go now? What's the next part of this journey?' We answer a lot of questions, and they are heart-wrenching. "

Finally!!! I can't wait for those first 4 episodes now.

I'm looking so forward to this next season. I'll now have my 2 favorite tv show nights back to back. Yay for Tuesday and Wednesday nights!!

As long as Hetty is sticking around, I guess I can handle Claire Forlani!
Thanks for posting that article Shane!

I watch show only because of her!

...both Chris and LL kind of..annoy me.
Even tho there are quite priceless moments in the show :lol:

I love the team of Sam and Callen. I started watching it for the action tho. (both them and H5O and now I'm hooked on both)

NCIS: LA / Hawaii 5-O Crossover

Surf's up for NCIS: Los Angeles' Kensi Blye: She is heading to Oahu this fall as part of a NCIS: LA-Hawaii Five-0 crossover, a CBS rep confirms to TVGuide.com.

Further details were not immediately available, though these kinds of stunts are usually planned for November sweeps. Daniela Ruah, who plays Kensi, first revealed the news on Twitter.

"Aloha," she tweeted. "Read my lips closely ... Kensi will make her way to Hawaii Five-0 this season! Stay tuned ... If they need me in Hawaii, I will make the effort and fly over there for the sake of solving crime."

To calm upset fans, Ruah later tweeted that Kensi's trip was part of a one-time crossover, though who could blame her for wanting to stay in Hawaii?
