"MEAT JEKYLL" Discussion **SPOILERS**

I just read the interview with Carol Mendelsohn (thank you very much for the link, blackflag:)!)
When I read that one CSI would end up in a body bag, I instantly worried that it would be Greg:(. I could just hear him urging the rest of the team to go ahead to catch Jekyll, and he would stay and watch Haskell...As Obi Wan would say, I have a bad feeling about this...
But, then I read "Also, I wish we had revealed more about Greg’s personal life. But there’s always next season. Nick, too." I am not sure if we should take comfort from this, or if she was just saying it to be distracting so as to not reveal a major plot point.
I am dreading (isn't it funny how you can dread something and really want to see it at the same time?) the finale now, but at the same time I just want to know if my Greg lives.
I also feel that they would not kill Nick off since they showed (what certainly looks like) him getting shot in the promo. Besides that, he has become such a central focus this season, and rightfully so, TPTB would have to be crazy to let him go! He is the heart of the team in many ways (and was my original favorite, before Greg stole my heart:)).

Congratulations, Mr. Amico on being on the best show in television history!

As many before me have asked...is it Thursday yet?!
Hang in there everyone!

Hi folks, haven't posted for an age but still pop in from time to time.

Is anyone else not totally suspicious of CMs mention of "at least one CSI will end up in a body bag by the episode’s end" - doesn't mean they're dead does it?

I can imagine Ray probably (as he does everything nowadays) hiding in bodybag or something ready to trap Dr J...???? Crazy thought?? Well Carol Mendelsohn has always given absolutely misleading spoilers to fans to start a riot of speculation - she is definitely a great TV producer after all!

I have to admit I have not watched Dr Who yet as I intend to watch them back to back. Gone are the days when I just couldn't wait til Thurs.

Well it could be a CSI but it could be someone from days, I hope?:(

Rocketscientist, I have to ask this..what is Grissom wearing in your avi? And is his eyes crossed?

I'm not who the question was asked of, but that's from season seven's "Toe Tags," when Grissom and Sara were figuring out how the guys that died from chainsaw injuries died. It's a face shield.

I was thinking about the whole "body bag" thing, and I agree that it doesn't necessarily mean that someone dies. If a CSI was, say, knocked out, a body bag could be used to kidnap them or something.

Now THAT would be incredibly cruel! As much as I don't want to see anyone die, I also don't want to be spoiled and then unspoiled just as quickly when I see it!

What happened to the whole family theme alluded to in the season premier, "Family Affair"? Injuring Nick and killing some other CSI certainly doesn't sound very family-like.

Just a thought but what if the second victim in the body bag is someone like Dr.Rob or SuperDave? It could explain why Dr.Jek took Langie's badge. He took it so he could grab a hostage from the morgue. Langie does have a really close relationship with Dr.Rob after all and Sara did say that Dr.Jek could be planning something special for him. Kidnapping Dr.Rob certainly is special. Dumb idea, right?

Thank you, TV Guide, for spoiling who Dr. Jekyll is.

I must know more about which CSI cast members are in danger in the finale! — Will
ADAM: I can only tell you that one of the jeopardized CSIs will be in a group held captive by Dr. Jekyll
(Big Love's Matt Ross)
. "You will spend a lot of time with Dr. Jekyll," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells us. "We will be with Dr. Jekyll as he watches and waits for his last victim as they are dying. Some of the CSIs will be with him, but Dr. Jekyll will definitely have the upper hand."

So I think Nick will be shot and he will be holding the team hostage as he lays there dying.:(

Well yea, they totally gave it away...

Or perhaps that press release was just a foiler???? And what exactly does jeopardized mean?

I haven`t been here in a while because I took new computer and had to set it all up (woohoo, my old one is finally going out), and now I wish I haven`t come back at all. I don`t like what I`ve read in this thread. I don`t like it one bit.

Maybe, but only just, I would be able to survive Cath or Brass going away, though the show would never be the same. If Nick dies, and I doubt that because of what he said about staying in the show till the end and so on, I won`t watch it any more. I just can`t. As many of you have already said - he is the heart of the show. He and Greg are holding it at the moment. Not Cath, and not Ray that is for sure. If Ray is the one to go out, I can live. He never worked for me, though I like him as an excellent actor. It will be Sara only if they are stupid. I mean, they can`t kill her because of Grissom, and we all know how hard he took Warrick`s death, and how he was out of it when she was missing. This one would kill him, regardless of him being out of the show for some time now.

I don`t know if I`ll watch the show or wait for your comments and spoilers first. This is so not cool. This is the only show I still trully enjoy, with characters I really love. I know that this sounds egocentric of me, but really. Fans are not happy, I think that we can all se that. Oh well. It will be what will be. i guess we all just have to wait and see.

I don’t get it… I can’t imagine they would allow this “slip of tongue”…
So I guess they’re messing with our minds (again )

I don’t know if this was mentioned earlier (if so… I’m sorry for bringing up something “old”)
What about mr hyde? Couldn’t he (or she) be some kind of “deus ex machina” (free interpretation ;) )

 Reading all of these spoilers about Nick being shot, someone dying, body bags. My thoughts are all jumbled :( I don't know where to stand on Catherine next season since Marg hasn't signed an new contract yet, if she has I've missed it. I think (hope *crossesfingers* that Nick makes it, how can they put us through having to watch Warrick die and then Nick ... just no :( I hope it's no one 'major' major but some spoilers I've read have said it's a major character and I can only think of Greg, Nick and Catherine. I also thought of it being Doc Robbions because of his and Langston's friendship :(

*does the slow clap for TV Guide*

Thanks for that one.

I don't really want to go into it here, cause I'm sure that a lot of people are annoyed we know who Dr. J. is played by, but if you look at the press release, you can see what Dr. J's real name is...

I've added a spoiler tag to cover up the info on the actor who is reportedly playing Dr. Jekyll, just for those who don't want to know THAT much in the way of spoilers. ;)

So those of you who have read it, if you could keep that part under wraps or use spoiler tags for it, that would be great! :)

Man...every single day they are making it harder and harder to wait for this!! I hope it doesn't disappoint. Right now it sounds really, really good!!!

I haven't posted before now, but I've been reading the spoilers, even though I generally don't like to. I just can't help myself in this case!

All the theories and speculation are interesting, and plausible.

I keep telling myself 'I'll know when I know'...that is, when I finally see the episode. (Which I will be watching with a mighty big glass of wine I'm tellin' ya!)

I'm betting it's going to be something we haven't even thought of because I'm convinced all the 'leaks' and 'interviews' and 'contract talks' are part of a publicity stunt to create a buzz. Because it seems to be working!

So even though I feel like crying and/or screaming before I've even seen the episode, I take a deep breath and..'I'll know when I know.'.

Which kinda sucks because I want to know NOW!!! :guffaw:
