Hey there, I'm headed to Vegas in October. What would the chances of getting to see a filming of CSI? I hear they only film there on special occasions like the season opener. So I was wondering if you knew where to be or even get the chance to see other celebs?

 

I just was there at the MGM Grand for the filming of the first eppy in S/7-no luck- security is so tight- you wouldn't believe- that's the only time they've been here since Feb. for 'KILLER' which I also missed- they don't let anyone know and slip in and out- fast- sometimes they film early like 5 am sometimes late- and even though I live here- means nothing- I have to read about it the next day in the paper- now Marg, George, Eric and Gary have been spotted playing here- but I've never ssem them- Marg loves the Forun shops- anyone who's seen them it's pure luck-and Billy was seen playing the slot machines at the airport- on his way to his flight-- soo on your seeing them- I don't believe they'll be filming here in Oct. sorry but have fun-- while your here :lol:


JOHN LENNON'S ART ON DISPLAY

"Imagine" The artwork of John Lennon, a collection of orginal drawings, handsigned pieces and limited edition prints by the late musician, will be on display Sat. and Sun in The Joint at the Hard Rock Cafe. The exhibit includes more than 100 pieces of art created by Lennon from 1968 through 1980, including some new releases--a collection of original drawings--wroks from the original "Bag One" suite hand-signed by him in 1970--plus serigraphs lithographs, copper etchings and aqua tints of Lennon's drawings. Presented by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, and the Hard Rock, the exxhibit will be open from 11 am to 7 pm in addition, Classic Albums Live, a 17 piece band, will perform the Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" later at the Hard Rock--Tickets for this performance are $20 to $35

Andre Agassi's tennis career is over, but there's no end to the adulation. At every turn during the U.S> Open, he recieved a rousing retirement send-off!! Now that he's back home, Las Vegans are showering him with affection!! When Agassi walked into Bleu Gourment, for takeout Frid. about 50 customers broke into applause Earlier in the week, her had stopped traffic and had heads spinning at N9ne Steakhouse at the Palms, where he was spotted at the bar, having a steak with his coach!!!!!

Sabrina "Bri" Bernstein, 14, has been named one of the finalists for the "sparkle in the spotlight" music contest sponsored by CoverGirl. Bri was selected as a finalist out of 250,000 entires!!! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes celebrated his mothers 70th birthday with a night on the town!!!after the party of 10 attended the 7:30 performance of "Love" the Cirque du Soleil-Beatles show at The Mirage, Cruise's mother mary Lee recieved a happy birthday serenade from the cast and crew. Cruuise's two children Isabelle, 13, and Conner, 11, accomapined the group to "Love"!!!from there Holmes, his mother and other family members went to Jay Leno's show also at The Mirage. Celine Dion and legendary producer Quinncy Jones are teaming up for the first time!! Dion and JOnes got together at the Palms recording studios on Tuesday for a special record. They are collaborating on a song for a tribute CD to Italian composer Ennio Morricone, best known for scoring Clint Eastwood's classic spaghetti western "The Good , the Bad and the Ugly". It's the principal reason we accepted, to work with Quincy, said dion's husband Rene Angelli!! Dion's first album in four years will come out next year, when her four year run at Caesars Palace ends. her last hit was "My Heart Will Go On" (yes, we know) her duet with Tony Bennett of "If I Ruled The World comes out this week!!!

Janet Jackson has booked her album release party at Tao (The Ventian) on Saturday, tying in with Tao's first anniversary weekend. her new album is titled "20 Y.O." A 500-foot-red carpet will be rolled out for both nights!!!! (Am I invited?)
