Evan Longoria and Tony Parker were seen snuggling over the weekend at Pure (Ceasars Palace} they were in town to celebrate her gilrfriends birthday!!! they were seen partying till 2 am, now the gossip is that she's been romantically linked to Mario Lopez of "Dancing With The Stars" fame!!!Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, making the rounds on Sat. with Palms owner George Maloof they were in a $25,000 a-night sky villa (crap, can you imagine} and spotted playing blackjack at the Mirage will 3 am. (must be nice] and the next day Sun, riding the Rollar Coaster at Circus Circus and going to a haunted house!!!

Fox New network is broadcasting two of it's high energy news shows from Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Talking to the rooftop patio at the club will be "Fox Report" with Shepard Smith and "On The Record" with Greta Van Sustern... Smith's other Fox program will orginate in front of the Caesars fountains facing the strip... 'Studio B" will air live from noon to 1 pm and the "Fox Report" airs from 4-5 pm The network's official anniversary was Oct. 7, but Fox plans to celebrate till the middle of Nov. Fox spokesman Darin Johnson says there are also plans for a VIP party on Oct. 30 fr the Fox crew and members of Fox 5 in Las Vegas, meaning Pure will show it's party versatilty in rapid succession with events for Gene Simmons new "Kiss" fragrance !!!

I've been to Vegas a bunch of times. My friend who I went with, it was her first time, so we had to go and see all the sights! We stayed at the Stratosphere. Not bad...did quite a bit of walking until we discovered 'The Deuce' bus

I can understand that. All the locals I talked to said they stay away from the strip whenever they're not working. I guess it can be true with any city too. A case of "been there, done that, got the t-shirt"

Prince might try to rein in Sin City..The rumored arrival pf Prince as a night club operator at the Rio is raising questions. How far will he take his spirituality in free-wheeling Las Vegas? As a Jehovah Witness convert, would he continue his door-todoor conversion efforts in Sin City? There are rumblings that he intends to charge $31.21 for admission on most nights. Is this a coincidence or, as some suggest, abiblical reference? His most recent album, released in March, was titled "3121" The 4 time Grammy winner reportedly has a nightclub in the Rio's former Club Rio space. When he's not performing at the club, still-unnamed, Prince reportedly plans to use the club to showcase artists he has signed to his label.. Th only information on his new Web-site, 3121.com is a graphic showing the sihouette of the Rio... The irony is not lost on producer Greg Thompson who topless revue "Erocktica was gfiven two-days notice Friday. The showed closed on Sunday... I find it kind of interesting that Jehovah has come to vegas to cleanse Sin City of the sex..sweat and gambling &rock 'n' roll, a reference to a line used in ads to market "Erocktika" CBS has signed Prince to perform at the 2007 Super Bowl in Miami....

ICE an off strip nightclub that was popularized in the reality show "The Club" is closing down on a high note!!! "Its going to be a celebration, not a funeral", said Brian Klimaski, director of VIP services!!! The farewell party starts at 4 am Sunday and runs until noon, or the booze runs out...Three years and two months after opening, has run it's course!!! "It's always been an uphill battle, and we had to wind down because the lease is up in March" he added Ice staffers will leave with alot of cool memories!! There was the night...well the morning..that massive NFL partyhound Ross Verba decided the party wasn't over yet!! Tiesto, who was the #1 deejay in the world at one time, was playing and $10,000 in cash came raining down from the DJ booth, and we went another 90 minutes until 10 am, Klimaski said...and another night Sean "P Diddy" Combs ran up a $150,000 tab...and drank us out of every bottle of champagne we had.. The 2004 airing of "The Club" provided a jolt of extra business, but it wasn't enough to survive against the megaclubs!!!!!

Thid hotel/casino will be another piece of old property that will be no more.. was built in 1958, and will be imploded on Nov. 1st Many people arrived at the Stardust on Saturday in their Sunday best to bid farewell to an old friend..One older patron said "It hits you right here" holidng her hand up to her throat.. Minutes after Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme closed the showfoom, after a mulitude of Frank Sinatra songs, and posed for pics.. with fans.. then backstage a party raged as lontime pals of the singing duo gathered for a spirited farewell and much storytelling. Frankie Avalon stopped by, and Bob Stupak owener of the Stratosphere sat on a bar stool.. champagne glasses were filled. and they saluted the Stardust with a somber round of toasts

Although Nevada was officially admitted into the Union on Oct. 31st 1864..Nevada Day was observed Friday as a state holiday..Bright Colbalt blue (a state color) provides the background for our state flag, which is inscribed with "Battle Born" (state slogan) It commemorates Nevada's admittance to the Union during the Civil War, just before the 1864 presidential election, President Abraham Lincoln wanted another Union-supporting state to help him win a second term!! Those for whom "Home Means Nevada" (state song) likely know that Nevada is among the nation's most mountainous states and that great riches such as silver and gold are found asmong those peaks!! Railroaders and ranchers found wealth and opportunity here as well!! Much more recently, tourism and unprecedented population growth have dirven the state's booming econonmy, with Southern Nevada setting a worldwide standard in the creation of the megaresort. This propsperity also brings challenges, from providing residents with schools and medical care to finding water to sustain them!! but thie "Battle Born" state has the pluck and peseverance to meet those obstacles and continue to find success along the way!!!!!
