"Lab Rats" Discussion *Spoilers*

Does anyone know if there are screencaps of Labrats anywhere yet?

I'll usually have them up @ csi-caps.com. But I'm leaving for camping very, very shortly (ugh) so I won't have them up till late Sunday night or Monday evening.

Maybe Erica will have them up before me. :)

Hello, I'm new. =) I've been a lurker here for ages but I have to say...

I love, Love, LOVE this episode! Why? Cause I happen to be a Lab Rat in real life - I work as a tech in a hospital laboratory. And it's about time we -- uh, I mean they -- had their day in the sun! Now, granted, it was a covert operation and only Hodges got any credit for their work, but STILL! It was sooooo thrilled that TPTB gave them their own ep. I'm hoping this ep could do for lab rats what the whole CSI franchise did for crime scene investigating as an profession.

Am I hoping for too much? Yeah, maybe, but it was still good to see my homeboys and girls out in front this time.

Cheers!

OMG....lol...yer site is one of my saviors...lol!...you guys do an awesome job getting the pics up....keep it up, its to bad yer gonna be away for a couple of days, but I think I will be able to handle it........I hope I can...lol

Oh and about the stinky corps with the "other" lab rat? That was gross! A nod to the movie "Aliens"? Obviously. But when David deadpans (no pun intended) "He made me wear it" - he stole the scene.

Also this might have also been a nod to the movie "Snakes on a Plane", when the snakes were set loose in a plane and wreaked havock with the wires and controls, just like the lab rat did. Again, I might be reading too much into this, but like I said, this epi got me real excited!

Cheers

Yes welcome...always glad to see new chatters...like someone else said just a moment ago, it is nice to hear from a REAL tech...some insight etc...

I hope that this eppy will spark future eppys gearing around the techs...it was totally awesome!!

thanks.....lol...will keep that in mind for future reference...you know, incase I wanna TRY to impress friends, with my pretend knowledge....lol!!

No seriously, it will be interesting to refer to you on certain things that they do on the show...To see just how well they stick to reality...I mean, I know, there are things they manipulate to make the show more interesting, but they do try to keep it as real as possible.

Awwe I almost got tears in my eyes I felt so bad for Hodges with that super sad look on his face ='(

But yeah when Wendy was like "I almost..."
and it was making shipper people go "GO on...."
and Hodges is like "What"?
and shes like "Nothing"

Close call. Close. Call.

I don't know how much insight I can give you on forensic procedures, but I can pinpoint biology abnormalities that they didn't get right. Also, sometimes I pick up on the lab techniques that they got wrong. I remember seeing something one of them did (I totally forgot the specific details) but it looked like they probably contaminated the sample evidence.

"Rattie"

It must be hard to watch shows like that JUST for the show and try not to break it all apart...I'm an Artist/Photographer and to look at other work, I sometimes have to fight with myself to NOT pick it apart. To see things that could've been done differently or just plain out done wrong.

What I do like about this show though is that they have someone on staff that did work in the field, and helps in protraying the proper procedure (well, as best they can for television) for the show....
