howmany/what langueges do you speak?

I speak English and a little French. I could never have a conversation or anything, unless it was a very simple one lol. I took French my last two semesters, and my teacher was horrible. I want to continue to study it, but we'll have to see what happens when I graduate this year.
 
i speak english and latin (and german of course). and i know few words in italian and french, but thats all.
 
I speak English
Chinese(Cantonese, Mandarin and another dialect but can't write nor read the characters)
Malay
Simple Tibetan
some words, sentences and songs in French and German but not good enough to make a long conversation.
and some funny Czech words I picked up from a friend. Just so I can fight with her. :devil::lol:
 
Hey Zippy, I speak Mandarin and Cantonese too! I can also read and write the characters. It's taken a few years....

I also speak Japanese (and again, read and write it). Next on the list is British Sign Language.

So many languages, so little time!
 
Wow, I gave up learning how to read and write Chinese. The characters gave me endless headache. And now I have Tibetan grammar to cope with. Grammar sucks...worse when it's Tibetan. I think Tibetan language is Yoda's mother tongue :lol:...ich hab die schnauze voll!

Latin .... Okay, so maybe not SPEAK it. ;)
And I can write a bit of Chinese and understand fluently and speak a bit of Cantonese (Chinese).
 
Chinese, Malay, English(duh)... a bit of Hokkien.
Lol, I just can't seem to understand Canto. Only a few words, but I can't utter out a sentence in Canto.
 
Dutch of course( the most difficult langueges to speak and write for de people who are nog dutch)
and i can speak englisch but i learn french and germans on school but that is not so good
