ok i know bad me for double posting but i cant edit since its been over 24hours.

I just want to say congrats to the Ducks (DaWacko you must be exstatic!) for beating the Wings 4-3 tonight to make it to the Finals!

The it will be a very interesting final series as the Ducks look to be a more physical team then the sens, and both teams have the speed and skill up front.

You know, there was that stat that says that in every year ending in "7" that it was either a canadian team or the wings winning the cup. now not to say that the sens are a shoe in but i believe that they can do it. though do we make the ducks an honorary canadian team since they have the most canadians on their roster??

GO SENS GO!!!

WOOOHOO! GO DUCKS! I didn't have energy to wake up at 4am to see the game but friggin awesome!

Heh, it was funny that against Wings, Selannen didn't get any points in first three games and then he did 1+2, 1+1 and now 0+1 :D

First time in these 14 seasons he gets to the final.
Did you know that he is the oldest guy in NHL history who scored over 40 goals in season?

:p

ok well thats one hockey stat i did not know  yeah congrats to selanne on reaching that aachievment. now wonder when chelios will retire?? or is he gonna be this generations gordie howe?

Haven't he been there like...forever? Like Hasek.. he has ended his career...like twice?

Ant Teppo numminen..I think he turns 39 this year.

Let's go Sens..let's go!!

Only thing that upsets me is home game on same night as Roger Waters playing Scotiabank Place..so Roger gets the boot :(

oh yeah i mean there are some "ancient" players in the league. lol. but the examples i was going to use have ran away from me.

I still remember when Selanne scored 76 goals when he was a rookie with the Winnipeg Jets (wow, has it been that long?). I am wondering, since I can't really watch the playoffs, as my cable company doesnt carry VS, are the fans in Anaheim still trying to copy the Winnipeg White Out? I've seen the Miami Heat fans do that, and I remember the Ducks tried to do that before as well.

well they have the the orange towels that theyre swinging around during the game. (i barely remember the jets). but what makes me feel like ive been a hockey fam forever is i remember the year that rick nash and jason spezza were drafted, and it seems so long ago spezza was drafted in 01 and nash (i believe was in 2000. lol.

oh and in other nhl news, brian leetch retired today.

I remember seeing first NHL games when Pittsburgh won..I was 6 :p I've followed our league as long as I can remember, perhaps more closely after 1995 when we won World Championships and Saku Koivu literally kicked ass. My fave team also won our national championships that spring as well (Koivu was there as well)

But yeah, I do remember Teemu in Jets and Tie Domi there as well :p

My friend lives in a city what has hockey team in our national league.. .she told that she was smugged to first ice hockey game by her dad when she was 18 months  Her mom had told not to take baby to the game and he had done it behind her back   She's a big fan of their own team.

btw, Aki-Petteri Berg (used to play in Leafs :p ) has account in Facebook  I was like wtf? And he is a member of network "Sens Suck- Enuf Said/ No Sens Fans Allowed"

Isn't leetch like..ancient? :p

I was born to be a hockey fan lol.Hockey season started about 4months after i was born.My parents told me that my dad would sit in the chair me in one arm and watch all the games. If something happend hed scream and jump up and scream somore lol all with me sleeping like a log in his arm lol,I got very use to it  and to top it off it was the glory days for the oilers when they were winnin all the cups for 5 years strait lol.

For remembering exciting games id say the first reall exciting game I rember was I think in 1999
I cant remember exatly i was farly young at the time but me and my dad whent it was against the Dallas Stars.Whoever won that game would go to the playoffs i think(again was very young and did not know all the details lol)but it whent into 4 OTs we where there for 7 periods in total lol great game dont think Ill ever forget that one.

Ok im done my ranting for now

GO SENS GO!!!!!!!!

hmmm lets see i was born to be a hockey fan too....born in february (middle of hockey season) in the month that the winter olympics were in my hometown (calgary). and yeah i remember bits and pieces from going to my first hockey game, a flames game, i was five, sat in the high section on the saddledome with my parents and brother. when i was a kid i would sit with my dad and his friends and watch the games and yeah id yell at refs and players (i still do that). lol. not to mention going to all of my towns hometeam games (not pro hockey) when i was in junior high, lol.

yeah aki berg being on facebook is interesting  i read somewhere that orlando bloom was using a friends name and pic on faceboon to find hemself a girlfriend who would like him for more than his celebrity status.

I do have to say that hockey hasn't really been the same for me since the Whalers left. I root for the Devils since they are in my home state, but Bring Back The Whale!

lol yeah i don't remember the whalers. i didnt start to really pay attention to hockey until after all the expansion/movement of teams was done. though i do remember when nashville and columbus and the wild came into play. and now its "rumoured" that the preds might be moving....dont know if i'd hold my breath on that one. lol.

Yeah, I still remember the days when the Coyotes, the Avalanche, and the Hurricanes were still the Jets, the Nordiques, and the Whalers, respectively. The Dallas Stars were still the Minnesota North Stars; the Senators, the Sharks and the Lightning sucked the big one (they were expansion franchises at that point) and the Devils still wore their Christmas jerseys.

Actually, my current avatar came from NHLPA Hockey 93, when we still saw the Minnesota North Stars in the league.

I have some memories about North Stars...

I do remember Nordiques :D Mats Sundin and stuff. Of course I remember Jets... and how Coyotes came... and Whalers... Sami Kapanen went there, how could I forget :D

Damn I hate the it takes so long to start the finals
