think this depends on Grissom's behaviour with the women, which is a little as an " asshole" (sorry G fangirls), so is natural they get pissed off. Look at Sara: He essentialy treated her like a doormat for six years!

I'm not defending Grissom, however I do want to say that often his attitude at work is that he is basically a robot. He showed that he truly cared about Nick in Grave Danger, but from his comments over the years, even telling Nick he would hold him back, that didn't come across.

He cares about Catherine a great deal, but still told her off when she went out with the guy who became their prime suspect.

So... I think that his feelings for Sara were very much on the same track. Butterflied he was exhausted and he let that cover slip, but I think that unfortunately, that's how he deals with caring about someone at work: he doesn't.

He sees it as an interferance. Is this a bad trait? Yes, but I don't think that he purposely does it to be cruel.

Ohhhhhh, okay. I see. So I, in turn, am rabidly infested with the mutant strains of Nathan Fillion and Dean Cain. Gotcha. As for Tom Welling, he hit on a friend of mine once before he was married.. it was great. She's the most beautiful woman I've met in my entire life. She's a stunning East Indian girl with perfect features, she looks like a frigging model.. and she's as gay as they come. Tom said in a sleazy wasy "Hi....I'm Superman." and Leah replied "Hi. I'm a lesbian." It was so fantastic.

THAT'S RIGHT! Refrain! I'm at no stage 4! *hmph* *checks underwear nervously*

I TOTALLY get T.R. Knight - he is SO adorable. I don't, however, think that Tom Welling counts. I think the whole point of the Hottness Syndrome is that it's someone who isn't on-the-surface really really good-looking. TW is a former underware model. Now, if you wanted to extend it to Michael Rosenbaum, that would get a big hell yeah from me.

I don't know who TR Knight is, but I will go search. And if this is true, then Nathan and Dean no longer count, cause they're ridiculously hot on the outside. But I'm SO with you on the Michael Rosenbaum thing.. he's yummy. I saw him at a bar in Yaletown a couple years ago.. he is a sexy, sexy man.

Dean Cain has the features of a God. You are evil, woman - EVIL.

And Clo says his birthday is 2 days after mine, so really, our love is obviously written in the stars.

Anyways, I turn my nose up at WPHS! HA!

Oh, and Mel, TW=Tom Welling. He plays Clark Kent on Smallville and is not as sexy as Dean Cain, who played Clark Kent on Lois&Clark.

Oh dear, Jordan - fully admitting the hottness and raising your voice to another in defense of WP? Forget 4 or 5 - you, my dear, are deep in the throes of Stage 6, and will probably hit stage 7 very soon. I'm very sorry to tell you that your WPHS is, in fact, terminal... not that you're going to die, but you will soon lose all reason and control due to uncontrollable bouts of passion. Say goodbye to your rational mind while you still can. It would be advisable to notify your loved ones at this point before you're salivating so voraciously that you can no longer form coherent sentences....

i hate doing it, but i'll have to agree on that. WP is hardly the prettiest boy ever (you know WHAT i mean, he's not bratpittish, but he's still cute as a guy), but he's got that Something that is even a bigger advantage. it's not so superficial as the look, but something inner, can't describe it really. and that Thing makes you like him FIRST for who he is and LATER for how he looks. i think it's so much better than brattpittiness, b/c in that case you first look at the guy and love his look, and then later actually see him as a person and as an actor. don't know if i made much sense, i'm back from a loooooooooooong shopping session.

Dean Cain does nothing for me, but then again, neither do Brad Pitt or Richard Gere or Sean Connery....

As for Brad and Richard and Sean... I don't get it, either. No- I take that back. I get Sean, but purely on sexiness. Not on actual looks.

Richard, Sean and Brad are handsome, i agree but i'm not crazy about any of them. Dean is a whole other peace of meat.

gregooofan, I think that Ch-Ch-Changes is on next week. But I can understand the confusion.

I haven't been in here again since I returned from my holiday to Greece. I thought a lot about GSR though. I actually wrote a story about Cath finding out about Grissom and Sara's relationship, but it's not that good. If I put more work into it, I might show it once.

I think that "cruel" is his shilly-shallyng game over the years. Shooting sentences like "since i met you", "i need you", "honey" and then essentially ignoring her. Telling her to have a life and becoming jealous when she has a guy. Denying her a deserved promotion (but this is my opinion).
However this is the past. I hope this season i'll change my mind.

Finally RTL gets some sense knocked in to them...they have been repeating the same episodes way too long! A lot of people have never seen the first episodes yet, so it's good that they decided to air those.
And yes, more GSR! I've been hearing people saying that they haven't seen much GSR in the latest episodes (which is kinda true), they'll probably get GSR once they'll see season 1.

Wow. I've been away for some time, so much work and now I am back, work no less (and there are plenty of postings - I got such a big backlog to read through... let's see if I find the time.) So:
Hi y'all, I am back
Just a short comment: I think I wont make much out of CMs comment about that she thinks Grissom and Sara were an item before Vegas. Of course it is tempting to throw in new ideas, but I think they should just go on with the show and look forward.

I think, Sara and Grissom started getting together as friends at the end of season five and then sometime in the middle of season 6 Grissom somehow managed to convince Sara that they are supposed to be together. I mean he took such a long time to work it out in his mind, so he will fight like a lion for the relationship, because now he is 150% sure.

I am still so happy about the evolvements, whenever I find the time to think about it.

MissDee, I seem to have been struck by a particularly virulent strain of BPHS... I was infatuated with the man from the second time I laid eyes on him. <drool> My best buddy also seems to have been infected. YOu should send the BPHS PSA to the pholks at the Billy-Is-Hott thread... they'll love it. And I think Sara got hit with GGHS (guess) back at Harvard.
Here's what methinks:
Sara's at Harvard, clearly having the time of her life there, possibly thinking about becoming some manner of physicist- she has a degree (I believe a bachelor's) in physics. Surprise! In comes Gil Grissom with an entomology seminar; naturally she becomes infatuated with him, and they do become good friends, although I don't think they "do it." I think they were on a hugging basis. So Grissom has told Sara about the work he does in Vegas, and that used to work in San Fran. Sara graduates, remembers him, flies off to San Fran's crime lab, is somewhat disapppointed at the absence of the Grissom, and after three years or so, surprise! She gets a call from her old crush telling her he needs help, she flies in, and viola- he doesn't even need to turn around.
So I think he's 200% sure. At least. Maybe more.

MissDee I understand that-but can't a fledgling writer send their stories to CBS, and isn't there a filtering process- although the writers on CSI are amazing- fresh ideas I would think would be welcome- how did Carol-Ann-Sarah- Anthony and others get their start-? just a thought where there's a will- yada-yada-yada

I agree. I really really hope they didn't end up having have a relationship or some fling in San Fransisco. That would just be, I don't know, too much? What I am hoping for though is an explanation as to when and/or how Grissom and Sara's relationship started. They can't just leave us in the dark.

By the way, welcome back, mee! Hopefully you'll find the time to party with us more often.

Dee - How happy am I that you re-posted the stages of WPHS. I'm pretty sure I'm either on stage 6 or 7. Last time you posted it I was on stage 4. The disease works fast.
