Hey welcome back, Catherine. Can't wait for your PotTR recap. ;)

Remember we had a discussion about who it was lying in the bed nacked in the John Mayer music video? I lightened a cap of that scene and...I hate to say this but I think it's Catherine. The person looks like a woman and has blonde hair that is about the same length as Catherine's. Also the next scene is Catherine opening the curtains with something looking like a sheet wrapping around her body. *sniffs* I think I'm gonna cry if it's really her in that scene! You can see the lightened cap here.
Yay for new bugman fic! When are you going to publish it, Anne?

So... how did you find PotTR?

It's going to be one heartbreaking episode. This is from the synopsis from CBS: "The CSIs investigate first-hand the behind-the-scenes action of Cirque du Soleil in order to determine what may have contributed to the young dancer's untimely death. Meanwhile, after Catherine and Nick visit a nightclub where John Mayer is performing, Catherine finds herself in jeopardy and must act as her own CSI in order to determine who may be targeting her and her family." So if the CSIs are out elsewhere, and Cath has to act as her own CSI, does this mean she'll get no emotional support from her team-mates??? Is it going to be an even lonelier walk than LHB for her? What I find unbelievable is that a CSI could be investigating her own case!!! Talk about suspending disbelief! :rolleyes:

are they insane? or is this just another way to irritate those who hate cath drama? i mean c'mon. she wakes up and thinks she's been raped and SHE collects the evidence. she's a bit smarter than that.


ok, so potr. they found a bit of continuity to base a whole ep on so wth can't they handle regular continuity?

^ Good question, coolc. But you know TPTB. They are unpredictable. Hehe.

Something I felt bad about PotTR was there wasn't a Cath/Lady Heather scene. These two sharing a scene kicks ass! Remember that scene from Slaves of Las Vegas in which they were talking about surviving in a world ruled by men? That conversation was awesome. As Anne's mom said, they did meet in an intellectual level. I was hoping for a Cath/LH scene while watching PotTR, but alas. It was understandable, though. It was more of a Gil/LH episode after all.

BTW, I had Gil <3 Cath #0.5 through #10 backed up before #0.5 got pruned. I will continue to make back-ups in the future. If anyone wants to keep the files, you can just pm me. :)

Well I also posted this on BTA, lol.. I read the sides again.. maybe "act as her own CSI"/"investigate a case involving herself" referred to the scene where Cath improvised her own rape kit and got her own pubic combing, nail scrapings, vaginal swab, urine sample, etc. after she wakes up in the motel. After that, she called Sara and asked her help to process the evidence/motel. Sara told Cath the improvised rape kit evidence Cath got herself would not stand in court, but Cath said she does not want an official investigation, she just wants to know what happened.But Brass and Sara and the whole lab will definitely be involved in the Lindsey kidnapping case. They'll be looking for Lindsey. But I still think this ep will be kind of like Lady Heather's Box where Gil and Cath were doing their own thing.
Interesting to see how it was that one piece of dialogue from the first LH episode (LH has a daughter/she's at Harvard) that spawned an entire epi. ALso cute how Cath is the one that knew more about LH than Gil did.

Yeah in POTR I loved how they gave some references to what happened in Slaves of Las Vegas.. coolc is right, I hope they would be consistent and maintain the continuity on the show.

Hottie[/b]]Awe that sounds heartbreaking. I mean, Cath collecting evidence from her own body by herself? How much courage will it have to take for someone to do that? I'm having complicated feelings toward this scene. I don't want to see it because I know it's going to be hard seeing Cath dealing with this crap all by herself. On the other hand, I can't wait for it because I'm sure Marg is going to do a great job in her beautiful, heartbreaking way. She always does. Either way, I think she's going to win my tears. LOL.

I have the same feeling ! and imagine a woman doing that after a rape seems impossible to me ! even if she's a CSI, she's a woman first . The spoilers say that Catherine doesn't want an official investigation but that she's doing that for herself ! then, she could go at the hospital . Damn, poor Cath !

Sorry, I'm not sure I get what you mean. LOL. What I was saying is it takes a lot of courage to do that. Normally, a person can't even think about what (might) have happened without breaking down, not to mention to collect evidence from her own body. But then again, Cath is a strong woman, and stubborn. Oh if she goes to the hospital, then she'll have to file a case. Just FYI.

I gonna try to be clearer lol well, I know that Cath is a strong and courageous person but I can't believe that a woman who has just been raped can use her rape kit on herself ! I mean it's a traumatizing experience (it's the least we can say) , I don't think that even Cath can examine herself after that ! What I wanna say it's that a rape is a rape even for the strongest woman ! I hope that you'll get my point :)

Oh okay. Thanks for explaining. I got it now. Yeah I agree that it's hard to believe Cath would do that all by herself, but it really depends on what she wants. I don't understand why she doesn't want an official investigation, though. Because what has happened isn't her fault at all. She doesn't accept the drink the unknown man bought her and I never once think she'd feel ashamed for (possibily) being raped. But with the current TPTB, you never know. Do you? ;) I really really hope that Gil will be there for her providing her with comfort and support, but like the others have said, it looks like Lady Heather's Box all over again.
