yeah they are. The US gallon is 3.8 litres and the UK gallon is 4.5 litres.

U aussie's have it easy. were at $1.71 a litre

 

instead of the 1.43 euro a liter it is actually 1.51 euro a liter. (I paid attention during my visit at the gasstation!)

that makes it over 7 US dollars for a US gallon!

so I agree with everybody that thinks that US folks should suck it up.. hehe... no offense though!!!

The last time I put gas in my car it was $3.09 a gal for regular and about $3.20 or so for premium, If you go north the prices seem to get lower and go south they get higher.

 

I did some errands today and it was $2.95 a gallon. I live in Georgia and it tends to run lower than some states.

I think the last time I went by the gas station it was $3.05 a gallon.

 

here in uk average price is £ . 97p a litre. mega expensive compared to the rest of europe. then again everything is expensive over here.

 

mega expensive compared to europe? you're kidding right? Ours is about $6.9/gallon but in the Netherlands/Finland and many other countries too, it's about seven dollars to the gallon.

 

^Esp Norway... those poor bastards :lol: Actually... it's one of the richest countries... My friend's dad drove to Sweden and Norway and refused to fill the tank there since it was so much more expensive... my friend said they were scared if they get back to Finland's side

Poor you , here in Massachusetts I heard on the radio the new average price is $3.04 a gallon. But I really shouldn't comment on your prices because I have no idea about the exchange rate.
