Gas..How Much are you paying???

 It dropped down to $2.77 here, of course that was about 2 hours after I put gas in my car at $2.86 a gallon...just my luck.

Just read this in the news and thought I'd put it here in case it interests anyone :) How has this affected those in the U.S? I don't think petrol prices have fluctuated much here in the UK lately.

CAMARILLO, Calif. - U.S. gas prices jumped nearly 11 cents per gallon in the past two weeks with the national average for self-serve regular just shy of $3 a gallon, according to a survey released Sunday.

The average price for the grade was $2.995 per gallon Friday, up 10.73 cents in two weeks, according to the Lundberg Survey of 7,000 gas stations across the country. The price was less than 2 cents below the all-time high of $3.01 set Sept. 9, analyst Trilby Lundberg said.

The average mid-grade price was $3.10 a gallon while premium ran $3.20.

The lowest price for gas was $2.70 a gallon in Charleston, S.C., while the highest — $3.27 a gallon — was in Honolulu.

I'm paying $3 a gallon. It's horrible. I dread going to the gas station because now I leave there $50 dollars short.

That's it. I need to find my bike.

Here it wanders between 1.31 and 1.39 euros per litre.
Mostly between 1.35-1.39

1.35 € = $2.98

(1 US gallon = 3,785412 litres)

When I left Florida last Tuesday morning, most of the prices near where I had been working were $2.87 a gallon. By the time I got back to Charleston, West Virginia, about 2:30 the next morning, they were around $2.93. By late afternoon, they were $2.99. Near my house, they have dropped back to $2.97 but near work they are $3.05.

^ Whoa, gas prices seem a little crazy all over America.

No idea what it is here in the UK at the moment (I don't drive), though I'm sure it's something ridiculously expensive, as usual

pssk, the prices here are at least two times as much as it is in America. ;) I find it hilarious that americans are complaining.
I think our prices here at the moment after converting it into dollars then litres into gallons which comes to $6.9/per gallon.

Uh... I do believe it's 1.10 per litre here in Vancouver, Canada. But I don't really know how things work... I just take the bus everywhere.
