Eric and Calleigh #32 - Seven Years In The Making.

I picture the early morning call in scene to be like: We are close up a on a phone on a nightstand either ringing or vibrating (get your heads out of the gutter :devil and then we see Cal reach over, leaning on one elbow snatch up the phone and flip it open....since we know from "Power Trip" that they get text messages...once she is done reading the message she closes the phone and rolls onto her back staring up at the ceiling clearing away the morning cobwebs. Then from off to the side we a hand come across her mid section and Eric rolls over to nuzzle her neck and ask her what the call was about. :devil:

Now that is my idea of a wake up call. :devil:

I just thought of this, I don't know how many Without a Trace fans there are in here but that scene between Sam and Martin in the season premiere a few years ago was ....I mean even the media was shocked at how graphic it was. For those of you who don't remember that; the season before ended with Sam asking Martin if he wanted to share a cab and then in the opener we seem them in bed but actually in the act of having sex!

I just started watching that show end of last season and all I'm thinking right now is "I missed that! Damn it!" :lol:

First episode I ever saw of "Saving Grace" last season had the most erotic scene I have EVER seen on television, with Grace and whatshisname simulating sex in her kitchen... the actor playing whatshisname was honest-to-God naked (they showed only his butt) and Holly Hunter first had on only boxers, then put a tshirt on... but those boxers were loose enought that it honestly looked like they were having sex. I remember thinking, now why can't we see Eric & Calleigh doing that!

To be back on topic: I wouldn't mind seeing them in the act of having sex. But imagine how awkward that is for the actors. I mean, yeah, they are both very attractive people, but still, they are friends. Imagine having to do a sex scene with your friend...

I agree, it would be very awkward for Emily & Adam, having to be nearly naked in front of someone you consider a good friend... but I know if that was in the script, they would do it justice. Emily did say in that last interview that she's sure that sometime she and Adam would be making out (as Eric and Calleigh of course) and that she was both excited and "very nervous" about it. I imagine so!

No doubt it would be awkward! Your bosses are asking you to make out with probably one of your best friends while people film it and critique it! Then you have you go through it all over again when the public finally sees it and talks about it!! Awkward isn't really the word to describe that sensation :lol:

Oh yeah "Saving Grace" gets away with ALOT....mainly b/c it is TNT and it is on late at night. That show blows NYPD Blue's nudity scenes out of the water by about 200 miles going about the speed of light :lol:

Personally, I think zooming in on the blood and guts is far worse than seeing two people lying in bed with the sheets covering everything. I mean "Raging Cannibal" when the guy ripped out the other guys jugular with his teeth was far more graphic than two people kissing under sheets is IMO.

So I don't think seeing E/C kissing with the sheets pulled up to give an aura of nakedness is anymore graphic that us seeing the priest get his guts literally ripped out by frickin pile driver in "Tipping Point"

Aha.. Yeah I am an avid WAT fan and Miami fan. I remember that Eww. XD. But I was never a Smartie fan :L I was a Jack and Sam Fan.....And there wait for them tooo finally get back together was about as long as ECness has been procrastinating to get together....I was so jacked up when Sam & Jack Finally got together...and want to make it "Work". And then I was like Awwwe. Now only one more ship too go :L JB must like the long waited ships :L I mean he is the exec producer of WAT and all the CSI shows and look how long it takes for the fan fav couples to get together!!!. He likes torturing us :lol:. But anyways back on the ECness Woot Monday a good EC eppie too I cant wait...But hopefully i will get to see the promo cuz i live in Canada and on CTV they dont show the promos . But yeah I am soooo excited for 714.

Nowadays even eight year old know about sex, some the feeling. The world is getting more slack than it ever was. I started watching CSI Miami when A&E first started watching it. Was that 2007 right? I was thirteen then. I'm just saying both aren't appropriate for children and the show barely shows anything really sex related often. Maybe a make out scene, but the one episode that went too far was Bang Bang. Now that was annoying, over 30 seconds the kissing lasted. UGH!


I don't mind seeing a close scene with Eric and Calleigh in a few epis. And TPTB can show a good amount of skin. Just not too revealing.

Wait a minute. My cousin just pointed out that the bullet Eric was shot with was a 'love bullet' AHAHAHA! That really funny, come to think of it, he started to fall for her right after he got shot. Good, thinking Codi.

And, they film the same scene several times to get every angle, so Adam and Emily would have to do what they're called on to do SEVERAL times. You know, I can see, when the time comes, they will do anything they can to make it funny for themselves... cut up and have a good time, to take away the awkwardness of the situation they'll be put in.

Personally, I think zooming in on the blood and guts is far worse than seeing two people lying in bed with the sheets covering everything. I mean "Raging Cannibal" when the guy ripped out the other guys jugular with his teeth was far more graphic than two people kissing under sheets is IMO.

You're right about that! Good thing it's on late enough that I'm not usually eating dinner. Sometimes I forget how gross Bones can be and I'll be eating dinner while watching it, and I get so grossed out I can't eat any more. I would MUCH rather watch Eric and Calleigh getting it on, than watch some guy get gutted to death by a person or a machine.

So while it sucks that we don't get a new episode tomorrow night (btw, out of all the re-runs.. WHY are they airing 'Resurrection'??), I'm still really excited about getting to see the promo for 7.14.

I was thinking, we've been getting a pretty generous amount of E/C with the past two episodes and what we got in 7.12 was completely unexpected until we got the promo. Then of course, we know that there will be E/C in 7.14 and 7.16. All of this waiting has definitely payed off. It's sort of exciting knowing that there's a huge possiblity that they'll be together before this season ends. At least, I hope so.

This might be really off topic but in the U.S. 'Saving Grace' is rated MA. 'CSI Miami' is only rate TV-14. That's a reason how they get away with so much.

We have been pleasantly surprised in each of the last few eps and that shows something; things are gaining steam and picking up towards that all important moment. The fact we are seeing it so much says to me that the moment we have all been waiting for is coming soon!! Instead of seeing a little of them in every other ep, we are seeing more in every ep.

2. We get "the talk" on 7.14, cute scenes the rest of the season and a big, super announced and promoted kiss for the season finale.

Personally I see more real option number 2 cause it's a way of giving us something between them now and still being able to wait on the kiss and save it for another big moment.

That's some pretty good thinking! I think either of the options are pretty likely to happen. I agree with you that number 2 is the most probable. Personally, I'd be satisfied with either! Which situation would you prefer?
