Eric and Calleigh #32 - Seven Years In The Making.

I for one am all for seeing Eric without his shirt on again. (But maybe that's just me) :drool:
I remember an old interview with Adam and Emily and him saying that he would like a nice hot love scene with Calleigh and hey we are all looking forward to that. I am almost certain that we won't see anyone's butt on the show because of how strict the rules got after the Super Bowl incident. Hopefully we will at least get a peek of what could happen between these two instead of having the writers leave it to our imaginations (and mine can get a little bad :devil

I am going absolutely nuts and tomorrow will be no exception since I have to wait all day to see the preview for next week. Thank the Lord for DVR and hopefully mine will be working tomorrow :scream:

Oh me too. I'd love to see one of those sequences where they show the team getting "the call", or rather in this case Eric gets the early morning call and we see him getting ready to leave, before he does he goes to his bed and there is Calleigh, asleep, you can see her bare shoulders, sheet covers the rest... he bends down to kiss her, tell her he's leaving. Or, they both get a call, his phone rings, he's in bed and we see him answer it, and then we hear another phone ring, and low and behold, there's Calleigh beside him, reaching onto the other nightstand to get her phone.

As for whether or not we'll see them kiss when they finally admit how the feel about each other, I think we will see it. A nice soft sweet kiss. They can save the heavy kissing for another episode... you know, one in which we see Eric back Calleigh up against a wall as he ravishes her mouth. I'm thinking they have a disagreement, they argue... and well, it ends with one of them kissing the other to shut them up and the next thing you know he's pushing her into a wall. :drool: Yeah... and then he takes off her shirt. :drool:

Yeah I definitely think it would be a cool scene with the phones ringing - first you hear Eric's phone ring and he picks it up, then Calleigh's rings and she picks it up... then you realize "ooooooh they're in the same room" HAHAHA great stuff. I would probably scream with happiness!

Well we've already seen Adam without shirt and dripping wet from the shower. I know Emily has done a couple of topless scenes in a couple of films (Breast Men and Body Shots), so I could actually see her in just a bra. Maybe Eric and Calleigh in bed or something similar to the Danny/Lindsey thing. I know the actors aren't shy about showing some skin. And besides, there's an awful lot of gratuitous wearing of bikinis by extras, so the show isn't worried about showing lots of skin as long as the taboo areas are covered decently.

Okay, how about this scenario? they're swimming....trunks and a bikini....the men get what they want to see and so do the women. Kissing against the edge of the pool and then......cells go off and they're paged to a scene.

I picture the early morning call in scene to be like: We are close up a on a phone on a nightstand either ringing or vibrating (get your heads out of the gutter :devil and then we see Cal reach over, leaning on one elbow snatch up the phone and flip it open....since we know from "Power Trip" that they get text messages...once she is done reading the message she closes the phone and rolls onto her back staring up at the ceiling clearing away the morning cobwebs. Then from off to the side we a hand come across her mid section and Eric rolls over to nuzzle her neck and ask her what the call was about. :devil:

Now that is my idea of a wake up call. :devil:

I just thought of this, I don't know how many Without a Trace fans there are in here but that scene between Sam and Martin in the season premiere a few years ago was ....I mean even the media was shocked at how graphic it was. For those of you who don't remember that; the season before ended with Sam asking Martin if he wanted to share a cab and then in the opener we seem them in bed but actually in the act of having sex!

To be back on topic: I wouldn't mind seeing them in the act of having sex. But imagine how awkward that is for the actors. I mean, yeah, they are both very attractive people, but still, they are friends. Imagine having to do a sex scene with your friend...

Actually no....that ep aired AFTER the superbowl incident. The events were in the same year. The superbowl incident happened on Feb 1, 2004. Without A Trace aired their season premiere, "In The Dark" on Sept. 23, 2004.

The FCC cracked down on programs like the superbowl, that occur during the hours where kids might be watching. The superbowl being one of those programs where people of all ages watch, the FCC came down on the NFL to tone down the half time performances.

Without A Trace, at the time, aired on Thursdays at 10pm....a time, the FCC said was ok to air situations like that b/c the likelhood of young children watching was very very slim to rare.

The superbowl incident, which IMO was blown out of proportion by the media, was Janet Jackson's costume malfunctioning and her boob, which was covered by a nipple ring and if you didn't know her nipple was peirced you would have thought it was a nipple sticky or cover, pooped out. I watched the incident play out and it happened so quickly that unless you had a dvr, which I did, you wouldn't have even had the time to notice that it was her boob. I had to rewind the scene TWICE before I could definitively say it was her boob and that you actually saw and booby. IMO kids see more skin on magaizine covers on the racks at the check out stand at the supermarket!

Now EVERYONE eventually knew about it b/c the media played it over and over and over again...giving everyone watching a chance to see that it actually WAS her nipple. People complained that their small children were watching but honestly, it happened sooo fast that unless you knew or had dvr, you couldn't tell it was her nipple....they panned away so fast.

But now everything is delayed and the acts are far more resigned....Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and this year the Boss (Bruce Springstein)....none of them are likely to do something risky...they just play their music.

As for E/C....

Several years ago (2004) Janet Jackson performed with Justin Timberlake at halftime of the Super Bowl. At the end of the song Justing tears part of Janet's costume off causing her breast to popout on national television (there was no delay). They claimed that the whole piece wasn't susposed to tear off just the top part leaving her lacy bra showing. They refered to it as a "wardrobe malfunction" (funny since the words Justin was singing at the time were "I'll have you naked by the end of this song").
Since then the halftime show had always been on a delay and the FCC has tightened the rules of what can be shown when.

Are you kidding me? It's actually really sad that someone thinks that seeing naked human being doing something normal like having sex is more disturbing for young children than seeing someone being killed. In Serbia, things like CSI Miami are rated 16 (if you're younger, it's not appropriate for you to watch), but movies with explicit sexual content is rated 18. It doesn't really matter when it's aired, rating just has to be written on screen. Once, in some European country they accidentally showed porn on national television instead of family show... So I think that the Super Bowl accident wasn't a big deal.

If you want to go by the sounds of the titles alone, it looks like 721 "One False Move" would be the better choice to say that is the ep where they are "outed."

Some of those title names are very interesting indeed....722 is "Split Second." Interesting title to say the least....a lot can happen in split second (that is not an actual ep tag guys....I am just speculating). The season finale..."Killer Instincts" definately says to me that there is going to be some sort of a showdown

That is of course, if these titles are accurate and don't change as they more than often do.

I think that any parent would not be allowing their children(10 or 12 and under) to watch any show with murder or crime, so it is unlikley that children are watching it. However, I think they are concerned about a child flipping through channels to see it, so they do not show too much. But as stated earlier CSI:Miami is aired late so that may not be a problem.

You could be correct there. I saw that title as them trying to be very careful so that no one would get suspicious...you know "One False Move" and they could be found out. And "Smoking Gun" as them being outed by a photo sent anonymously to the lab.
Geezzz we really need a new episode. I thinks we're going bonkers trying to analyze episode names. :lol:

I don't understand why dead body cover in blood is more appropriate to watch then two people kissing or making love.
I mean come on, that's not a porn, they won't show us everything. It's just two people in bed, some of their bare skin and few kisses.
And the show is aired at 10p.m., so I guess it's late enough to show that kind of scene.:scream: I don't know what's the big deal, what is so inappropriate in it?
