Shute TPTB ain't got nothin on us HipHugger fans. I haven't really seen them write anything any better that some of the stoies that are posted on Fanfiction.net and if you ain't readin the Road Trip story that Speed cochrane writes then you have really missed out on somthin good. When there are no good scenes on the show I have to read my Fanfics to get my romance fix for the hiphuggers.

I too had that dirty thought of a CPR.
First of all, Eric would bring TULIPS, and then she'd tell him her feelings and so would he. Or maybe he'd start first then she'd just jump right in, cause he's taking too long. (HEHE this is gonna be juicy) Unfortunatley I cant say anything that I'd want at this point because it's all inside my story; if I started I'd never finish talking.

somebody has done went over the edge from having to wait so long for the new episode!!! See what you have done TPTB you have done gone and caused a hiphugger to have a melt down and start trying to lead a kum-by-yah party right in the middle of the Hiphuggers domain! Lol!!! :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

To be honest, I'm surprised I haven't lost it yet! I mean I read the spoilers so I know before everyone else what happens!! So think about how I feel!! :lol:

Everybody just relax & turn on A&E for a nice relaxing episode with Speed in it! they are showing double cap right now so watch and enjoy the beauty that is Eric & Speedle, as Speed lives on through reruns and Fanfiction. try to remain calm and dream of running you hand over his fiveoclock shaded face. I actually would love to run my fingers through his hair sometimes,but I just don't think he'll let me! But hey! I can dream can't I!!! Hey I have a B-day in May can someone send me Rory Cochrane for it please! or Adam Rodreguiz.. really either one will do. Lol!

Okay, C.H.E.A.R., take a deep breath and exhale. We're all going a little crazy right now. We know the writers say they're committed to keep it going and the actors are into it so thing will happen. Give Calleigh a little time. This is new for her and you all know how she balks, freaks and then runs like mad away from new things. Let's just hope her experience in 7.14 will get her butt in gear where Eric is concerned.

Wow... There sure was a lot of activity on this thread... I love it when I wake up (it's morning in Serbia) and find a bunch of new post in this thread.
In order for him to give her the CPR she has to be unconscious, which means she's been out of breath for a while. I don't actually think that she'll be totally out of breath. Maybe she'll just struggle but menage to get some air... I can imagine her clinging to Eric's hand or something like that. I hope he goes with her in the ambulance. I'm really going crazy right now. I think it will be a lot easier for all of us if we just concentrate on waiting for promo. That way we only have to wait till Monday.

Though I have been thinking about something different, I mean all the time we're talking about who will kiss who for the first time and that's good.:luvlove:
But I have another question for you, when they get together do you think they will show us something more intimate between them, something more the just a kiss?
I am thinking about some sweet love scene, maybe them in bed, lying together and cuddling:drool:.
Cause although I'd love to see more unfortunatelly I don't think it's possible.

Question for the Americans: how much are they allowed to show us? I mean, what are the ratings in USA? Given the fact that this show is about crime, I think we can expect some EC cuddling only if something happens in their neighborhood and they are the ones to report it. I'm sure they'll give us a kiss once, I just hope it happens before the end of the season.
How much are they allowed to show us in the way of skin? Well....I believe (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) but it was our own David Caruso that showed his naked tush on NYPD Blue years ago. In daytime soaps they show people in bed all the time. Soap are infamous for the 'love' scenes.
But considering this is a crime scene drama....

From what I can remember about the spoilers there is no CPR....She is just having trouble breathing....I think she passes out but doesn't ever stop breathing which would require him to give her CPR.
Yes that was DC in NYPD Blue all those years ago. In fact that scene got sooo much flack from people b/c it showed so much. It really was the first time any show had shown so much nudity on network tv. That episode changed the way primetime tv viewed nudity and sexuality. It opened the door and more shows began showing skin and partial nudity. Since NYPD Blue aired at the 10pm hour it was decided that it was allowed to show that much skin b/c, people argued, that most children were in bed asleep and only of age adults were watching at that hour.
Now Miami airs at 10pm so technically they could show skin but ultimately the decision lies the writers, producers and even the network as to how MUCH skin or nudity the viewers get to see. Miami has never been a show to "show" very much, if you know what I mean, so the odds of us seeing alot are slim. If anything, I think we will get something akin to them removing some clothes and maybe falling on top the bed kissing....then the rest will be left up to our imagination.
Soap Operas get away with what could be considered soft core porn, b/c kids are at school and therefore the only people watching are either college students or adults. My personal opinion is that Soap Operas walk a fine line and often I find it unfair that they can show more than some primetime shows do. And believe me, soaps walk that thin blue line very very close to the edge.

Well, considering what they showed on CSI:NY last season between Danny and Lindsey... them playing a game of pool that turned into the two of them kissing and him taking her shirt off (saw her black bra)... then the next morning the two of them woke up ON the pool table, very obviously naked under the blanket. This being Miami, a much more racier version of the CSIs, I think its VERY possible we could see Eric and Calleigh doing more than just kissing. I sure as hell hope we do.
As for what can be shown on tv here in the US, naked butts but thats about it, no boobs and no frontal nudity on guys.
And I dont' think showing Eric and Calleigh in a uh... compromising position... would make it soap operaish. If they brought Jake back and had that little triangle thing again, that would be soap operaish.

Oh I am not saying that the show or the scene would or is soap operaish....I was just describing soap opera's in general
Like I said, it is probably all up to the producers, writers and network on how much to show. And as you said, Miami does tend to be the more racier of the three, so there might be a chance of us seeing more than viewers saw with NY....i wouldn't consider what we saw with D/L was racey or holy cow, like NYPD Blue was. They left a lot of it up to our imagination....scenes like that are common place even in 9pm shows.
I am hoping that our writers take the D/L scene and kick it up a tiny notch and give us a little bit more
