I'm right there with you guys. I'm going a tad nuts, too. It's funny how we've all analysed two people that don't really exist outside of well acted written lines. This is a testament to the writers for writing such sympathetic and believable characters and to the actors sensitive, intuitive and real portrayal of them.

Oh, I didn't get my Psych degree at Wa-Mart. It was a post graduate degree so I had to go to Target to pick it up.

.Re: Eric and Calleigh #32 - Seven Years In The Making.

Ok, so after watching the 2 clips over and over, again and again, I've realized...

- no wonder Eric was too nervous and afraid to verbalize how he felt when Calleigh gave him that huge opening. She said she was confused, and the last time she was confused about her feelings and told him so (in BTK), she took up with Jake, breaking his heart. So when she said she was confused, it likely took him back to that day and he clammed up.

- Calleigh believes Eric may not believe he really is in love with her because he has never really verbalized it. She sees all the hints, looks, and actions (like when he told her he didn't know what he would have done if something would have happened to her) but he hasn't come out and said it, verbalized that he wants more than just a friendship... so perhaps she feels that since he hasn't said it, that he's not really sure of how he feels. So, if she's not sure that he's not sure, she's not going to say how SHE feels, and vice versa. It's a viscious cycle that hopefully will come to an end in 7.14!

After two seasons of flirting and the growth of what are obviously deep feelings, it's both surprising and gratifying to see Calleigh just come out and hit the nail on the head. Both Delko and Calleigh have gotten used to hiding behind their friendship in the face of their burgeoning romantic feelings for each other, so it's ironic that it's a comment that Delko has probably made dozens of times before about her friendship meaning a lot to him that prompts Calleigh to up the ante by telling him she didn't realize he felt that way. He falls back on the files he knows Calleigh saw from his psychiatrist's office in "And How Does that Make You Kill?", but later brings it up again, prompting Calleigh to call him out. It's out there now; Calleigh has basically thrown down a challenge for Delko. Are those feelings of his real? And is he ready to take the very big step of vocalizing them? Calleigh's told Delko exactly what she needs from him; the question is, will he be brave enough to speak those words?

I have just read this review and I have to say I totally agree with it. It's definitely out there now. And it's time for Delko to make up his mind. He really needs to decide what he wants, especially after what she told him, cause it's all up to him now.
It's obvious that for the first time she's ready to talk with him about their possible relationship, but he must say loudly and clearly how he feels about her, what he expects from her and what she can expects from him. I know it's not that easy and I completly understand it, but ther's no other way to solve this situation. The tension won't disappear by it self, I would even say it will only increase and finally one or both of them will end up getting hurt.:( And I'm sure it's the last thing they want.:)
Anyway maybe events in 7.14 will helps in that matter and they finally do it properly, at least I hope so.

I don't know why this scares me. Like, am I the only one who doesn't think Delko is going to man up and tell her how he feels? I mean, apparently what happens in 7.14 is going to be the reason why Calleigh and Eric admit their feelings for one another, if they do. And while I'm not complaining.. it would be nice if they could admit their feelings on their own without any circumstances pushing them to do so..but that's obviously not going to happen.

Who knows, though? We don't really know what is going to go on in 7.14 except for the spoilers we've gotten. We got absolutely no spoilers for 7.12 (except from the promo) that concerned E/C and we ended up getting a lot.

I really do hope that Delko does say something next week regarding his feelings for Calleigh, though I am doubtful. Unfortunately I think we will have to wait another 3 weeks for him to confess his feelings for her and her feelings for him.

Everyone still seems to be harping on Eric for not saying anything when Calleigh, IMO, is almost just as to blame for demanding answer which she seems to have answer to already and not giving up anything in return.

However, I do agree; it is out there now. Whether or not we or he likes it, the ball is in his court now to do something. I think he will. The question is when? What is going to take to make him say the words she so obviously wants to here? I am hoping that it is 714....hell she might have thrown it down but she might also pick it up and decide to take that first step which neither seems ready to take.

Lol, trust me - I've definitely been bitching at Calleigh. To be honest, she's the one I see more at fault of the two. Eric may not have told her in words that he wants her, but come on, does he need to hit her over the head with it for her to have the slightest inclination of his feelings for her? Was his "I'd transfer to the night shift" not basically a "hey, I'd love you more than Jake"? My head hurts and I'm forgetting stuff, but I'm sure that's not the only time he's said or done something to show that he has feelings for her, things that she would have to be blind not to see. I feel like Eric has done his part lately, and that part was waiting patiently for her to realize what she wants, and also giving her ample time to get over Jake. Jake was an important part of her life, and it would've been tacky had Eric gone to her right after Jake left and said, "hey, I want you now."

But you are right - she did take that ball and toss it right back in his court. Whether he's comfortable with having it, well, that remains to be seen, I guess. I do wish though that they'd stop playing ball already!

But that's just me. I'll shut up now.

Well I for one am tired of them play ball to! I hope Eric wacks that ball over the rightfield fence next time out! I just wish he had at least stopped her from walking away the other night weather he kissed her or not! Why couldn't he have just caught her hand and gave her that pattened Delko look that usually tells so many thing without the use of words between them! I guess the TPTB have something in store for us! God I hope its really good sence we've hung on this long!

Hey Jessica237 When will we see the next chapter ofypur story! Waiting on it with baited breath please hurry!

I have been giving Eric a hard time. However it's just easier for me to say everything he's doing wrong. If I started ranting about Calleigh.. well, that would be a whole lot for you all to read. I have more problems with her than I do with Eric.

Calleigh most likely did catch Eric off guard with the whole 'Eric, I'm so confused. What do you want?' thing. So in Eric's defense, he probably wasn't expecting her to be so forward when it came to the subject of 'them' because we sure as hell weren't expecting Calleigh of all people to even mention the fact that Eric had feelings for her.

Also, was she playing dumb when she told him she didn't know much her friendship really meant to him or what? That whole scene outside when Frank interupts them just really confuses me.

Exactly....she fished for information in that instance but with a flirty smile on her face. She was enjoying the conversation and personally, I thought he answered her question right then. Every other time he has tried to push or continue the conversation she has either changed the subject or said something confusing and walked away. So he was probably expecting that to happen....but in the end, she did do exactly what she always does. She gave herself an opportunity to escape the situation. She was playing dumb and I felt, given their history, that he answered the best he thought he could given her emotional fragility.

Would any woman like to hear a guy tell you straight how he feels? Yes. There is no doubt. But I don't think I personally would be so forceful about hearing the words if I had READ something telling me he liked me. If anything, I think I would be more apt to put MY feelings out there for him to receive so he knows or gets an inkling that he is not alone in this. Not demand to know something I already know b/c I read it.

I figured she was playing dumb. I was glad Eric questioned her on it though and pointed out that she read his file so she has to know how he feels.

Of course, she wants to actually hear him say he has feelings for her, as if it's not already obvious.

Another thing I'm not sure I understand is the scene by the elevator and she's like 'You know what I mean?' after she gives him that little speech about him believing his feelings or not since he can't say them out loud is when she walks away and he's like 'Yeah, I do.' Was he being sarcastic or is he not sure about his feelings either?

That episode really left more questions than it did clearing things up.

I was watching the scenes, again , and leaving the heavy stuff aside, there were some really nice details that made me smile:

-How Calleigh was taken aback when Eric said she read his file. There are few times when she's dazed and that was one of them.

-How she looked up when Frank spoke like a kid caught with her hand in the cookie jar and then the clearing of the throat.

-Eric's face of dissapointment when Frank came. Annoyed and dissapointed.

-Calleigh's face when she gave him the folder in front of the elavator. The way she looked at him like, come on say something.

-Her frustration when she turned away when he remained silent. The only thing missing was the rolling of the eyes.

I really love when we get scenes were there are smiles and gazing and facial expressions which speak more than words. These two scenes definitely were full of these details so kudos to Emily and Adam.

I don't think he was being sarcastic. I think it was more of a frustrated, "Yeah I know." Like saying "I'm not stupid, I know how important this." but w/o any sarcasim. The first time I watched it I thought he was being sarcastic. But after re-watching the scene I realized it was more of a dijected sigh littered with a little frustration as opposed to him being sarcastic.

I've already watched the episode so many times, trying to analyze like evething between them. It's crazy.

If Eric's scared in any way to tell Calleigh what she wants to hear I can completely understand that now. It seemes like any other time in the past when he seemed ready say something or take action she shuts down or is suddenly with Jake. Like, Born to Kill and Eric just looks jealous and pissed off in Dangerous Son when he find out that Jake and Calleigh were in Antigua together after what happened in BTK.

Eric and Calleigh are so perfect for each other, but really, sometimes I think he could do better. As hott as he looks when he's all jealous and upset, it's still sad and it's not like Calleigh is hurting him intentionally. Eric is just a sensitive guy.
