Hey, I'm from Chicago...you know Daleyville and the Great Democratic Machine where corpses used to get a vote? So can I be a Chicagoan and vote early and often? (It's a Chicago joke) And I already voted once.

Haha, my mom always used to tell me "I'm from New Jersey, home of some of the most corrupt people in this country. Vote early, vote often!"

Needless to say, I did make sure to vote for Emily for the PCAs. Let's hope she'll get nominated! :thumbsup:

Since this thread appears to be a little bit *ahem* dead, I thought I had to bump it up with a very little news ;)

As previously reported by CSI:Files

The television game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will feature celebrities asking contestants questions starting November 9. The show will include three to four celebrity questions a week, and the questions will fall in the ‘mid-level’ area of monetary value. CSI: Miami’s Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) will be one of the familiar faces asking Celebrity Questions on the show.

Thanks for the heads up :thumbsup:. I don't usually watch that show, but I'll tune in to watch that particular episode. Anything to see more of Emily :)!
 
You know, while we're in season for filming, I'm almost afraid that they've cut Emily's scenes to near non-existant if she's going to be a questioner on Millionaire. Makes me worried. If Emily goes from CSIM, I'm done with it, too. This could be the warning shot of her leaving the show if she's given so much time to appear on a game show on another network. I'm really worried now.
 
She wouldn't have to leave Miami for that. It would probably take about an hour to record her asking some questions to insert into several episodes on Millionaire. She could do it on a lunch break or day off.

Not to mention that she can ask up to 3 or 4 questions a week. I really don't think it will require that much of time LOL, so I wouldn't be worried because of that.

Again, this doesn't mean she won't leave the show (though, there's nothing for us to say she'll leave the show except for....let's define them "rumours" about her contract expiring by the end of 2009 ;)) for whatever reason, but I wouldn't worry because of this celebrity appearence of the girl on a show like Millionaire :lol:

Sorry, but my knowledge of what goes on in Hollywierd, especially when an actor cross polinates to another network has never spelled good things, I'm worried until someone from her camp makes a statement. Unless her camp states that she's firmly with CSIM, I'm officially worried. We've had no word of any movement with her contract. I'm afraid that, if she gets pregnant, as she wishes to do, that this is her last season for CSIM and forever because of all the interviews we've seen indicating an alternate career for her in interior design. She even stated that she'd be just fine if CSIM was suddenly cancelled because she could retire into interior design.

So this appearance on Millionaire does not insire confidence in me. I'm expecting her to leave the series by the end of the year. Call me pessimistic, but I think it's true, especially if Emily achieves her desire to become pregnant and have a child. Face it,
fans....she's gone for good, then. She's indicated that family is more important than career, which is the same for many of us on this board. We'll lose her for good. Load up now on her work. I see the end of her work on CSIM and anything else in sight.
