Delayed Inffinity

Ok here's an update! Its short! I've been working on this story all day and I've gotten to 11 chapters for his story! :) I should have the next chapter up late tonight or tomorrow sometime! Hope yall enjoy!

Chapter 4

Natalia sat up in her bed, momentarily forgetting where she was. She looked around and felt for her phone and saw that it was past noon already. Only two weeks with her family and she was already burned out. Of course she loved being with her family but sometimes she wished she could just get away, even if it was for a little bit. She missed him. He had been with her everyday before she left, but it was not nearly enough. She had not heard from him a few days and she was getting restless. She needed him there. All she wanted to do was have him with her, to have his morning kisses on her shoulder when she was still asleep, or even to feel him asleep next to her with his arm wrapped around her waist. But he wasnt there. All she had were memories for now. A tear slips from her eye and then another. Using the back of her hand she wipes away the tears. She sighs and gets up to take a shower where the water hides any evidence of tears.

It had been a 2 weeks since Eric said goodbye to Natalia and he had been in the lab everyday since then. He was tired and he had more and more crime scenes to solve everyday. Although he had told Natalia that he would text and call her at least once a day, he was lucky to even have time to look at his phone, let alone send a text message.

Messages from Natalia had to go unanswered until he had a free moment. It was killing him to not be able to hear her voice. As he drove home, practically falling asleep at the wheel, he heard a song that he had never heard before turning it up just to keep him awake....

Chapter 5

"So, Natalia, how are you enjoying it here in New York? Her mom asks as they sit down for dinner.

"Its good." She said as she twirled spaghettii on her fork lookin down, not makin eye contact.

"Are you ok sweetie?" Her mom said as she place a hand on her arm.

"Yea, I'm just not that hungry, and I'm tired." She said as she looked at her mom.

"Well, you dont have to eat honey, why don't you go to bed." Her mom said as she rubbed the top of her head like she used to do when Natalia didn't feel good.

"Ok. Thanx for dinner mom." She said as she got up and started walkin up stairs.

"You're welcome sweetie. Night."

"Night." As Natalia walks up to her room and turns on the radio and got in the shower.

"Another summer day
Has come and gone away
In Paris and Rome

She could barely control her emotions as she finished up her shower. Her eyes were full of tears as she steps out of the shower and goes to bed.

"Natalia?" Her mom said as she knocked on the door.

"Comin in." Natalia said as she hops in bed.

"I wanted to come make sure you were ok." Her mom said as she sat down on the end of her bed.

"I'm ok. Just really tired."

"Are you sure you're ok sweetie?"

"Yes...no." She said as she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes.

"What is it sweetie. You can tell me." Her mom said as she hopped on the other side of her bed.

"I need him mom. I can't stop thinkin about him and it kills me that he's not here with me." Natalia said as she let all the emotions that she had been holding in all come out.

"Baby, its gonna be ok. You'll see him sooner than you think." Her mom said as she let her daughter cry into her chest."

"Excuse me, Im sorry, but I need a moment alone." Natalia said in a barely audible whisper.

She practically ran to down stairs to the porch out back. She closed the door and leaned her forehead on its cold frame and let more tears fall freely. Lost in her own world, she didnt even realize someone else was outside.

He walked up behind and whispered in her ear...

"Need a shoulder?"

Startled, she quickly turned around and before she could come to terms with what was happening, she was pulled into a soft kiss.

"Miss me?" he whispered.

"Not really." she joked as she pulled him close for a tight embrace.

AWWW!! I loved it! Eric flew all the way to New York just for her. I wish they could be like this on the show. I can't wait for the update!
 
Aww, sweet. I knew he'd wind up going to NY to be there with her. Can't wait to see what drama you have in store for them. This is the beauty of fanfics - you always know it will end good regardless of the speed bumps they hit along the way. No sweating involved. :lol:

Chapter 6

"How did you get here?" Natalia asked as she pulled away from the embrace

"Well, your mom flew me up here. She said she could tell you were hurting and thought it would do you some good if I came up here. So she flew me up here." He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Well I'm glad you and my mom talk." She said as she smiled up at him.

"Me too." He said as he kissed her lips tenderly.

Walking back into the house hands laced together she saw her mom walking downstairs

"Mom, thank you so much." Natalia said as she ran over to her mom and hugged her.

"You're welcome sweetie." Her mom said as she hugged her daughter back.

Natalia grabs Erics hand and leads him upstairs.

"So, where am I gonna sleep?" Eric said as Natalia shut the door behind them.

"Well, I figured you could sleep in the guest bedroom." She said as she turned around and he wrapped his arms around her lower waist.

"Or..." She started but was interupted.

"I could sleep in here?" He said as he smiled down at her.

"Well I wasn't gonna say that, but I'm sure that can be arranged." She said as she smiled back at him and stood on her toes to kiss him.

"Ok." Eric said as he picked her up and layed her down on the bed.

Next Day

Eric woke up to someone layin in his arms and their limbs intertwined with eachother. He can feel the woman in his arms start to shift her body towards him.

"Good morning beautiful." Eric said as he pushed a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Morning." Natalia said as she yawned.

"I had a great night last night." Eric said as he rubbed her arm.

"I did too." She said as she smiled at him.

"What do you want to do today?" Eric said as he sat up in bed.

"Um...lets go shopping!" Natalia said as she sat quickly up in bed and smiled the biggest smile that Eric had ever seen.

"Why shopping?"

"Well you dont have to go if you dont want to, I can go with my mom."

Natalia said as she looked at her nails thinking she needed a manicure to herself.

"Ok that sounds like a plan." Eric said as he hopped out of bed.

"Ugh, I was kidding. What are you gonna do hang out with my dad all day?" Natalia said as she hopped out of bed as well.

"Yea we can go play golf while ya'll shop." Eric said as he pulled his shirt over his head.

"What is it with you men and playing golf?" Natalia said whispered to herself as she walked over to her dresser to get clothes out before she headed to the shower.

"What did you say?" Eric said as he pulled his pants on.

"Oh nothing. I'm goin to get a shower. I'll see you later." Natalia said as she kissed him bye.

"Ok. Have fun with your mom." Eric said as he headed for the door.

"And you with my dad." As Natalia walked in the bathroom and shut the door.

Heres an update! I know in the last chapter I used Natalias parents but theyre gonna appear in this chapter as well along with Erics parents. It does say skipping up a couple of months so that way it wouldnt seem like Natalia left her parents house and then they followed them down there. Hope yall enjoy!

Chapter 7

Skipping up a couple of months. Eric and Natalia have 2 months off work and Natalia's parents are coming down to Miami to meet Erics parents.

"Hey baby." Natalias mom said as she hugged her.

"Hey mom." Natalia said as she hugged her mom back.

"How are yall doin?"

"Good." Eric said as he took the food from Natalias moms hands.

"Thank you honey." Natalias mom said following Eric into the kitchen.

"You're welcome." Eric said as he sat the food down on the counter.

"Hey Eric. Got any golf courses here in Miami?" Natalias dad asked as he shook Erics hand.

"I'm sure we do?"

"I guess we'll have to make a date for me, you, and your dad to go." He said as he sat down on the couch and flipped the tv on.

"Yea, sounds good." Eric said sittin down in the recliner.

"Where's Natalia?" Natalias mom asked.

"Shes probably in the room freshening up like usual." Eric said as he chuckled.

"I know, they think theyre never pretty enough for us men." Natalias dad said as he read the paper.

"Yea well she's been spending alot of time in the bathroom these past few days. I dont know whats wrong."

"Its probably just a girl thing. Shell get over it soon."

"I'm gonna go check on her." Natalias mom said walking up the stairs.

"Ok. We'll come get you when its time to eat lunch." Natalias dad said.

When Natalias mom gets up stairs and opens the door to her room she can hear Natalia in the bathroom throwing up.

"Natalia, baby?" Natalias mom said as she knocked on the bathroom door.

"Yes?" Natalia said as her mom could hear her breathing really hard from throwing up.

"Are you ok?"

"Um...ye..." Natalia started to say but threw up instead.

"I'm coming in." As Natalias mom opened the door to find her daughter sitting by the toilet with a bottled water beside her.

"What's wrong with you baby?" Natalias mom said as she held her daughters hair back out of her face.

"I dont know." Natalia said as she drank water to to help with the throw up taste in her mouth.

"How long have you been throwing up like this?" Natalias mom said as she wet a washcloth and dabbed her daughters head.

"I dont know a week maybe." Natalia said as she threw up for the last time.

"Have you been to the doctors?" As her mom helped her daughter up.

"No." Natalia said as she rolled her eyes.

"And why not? Maybe they can give you something for this."

"They can't mom. I...."

"You're what?" Natalias mom looked deep into Natalias eyes.

"I'm pregnant." Natalia said as she broke down in tears.
