Lorelai, those caps are hilarious! Danny and Flack do make the same faces! Kimmy has a great avatar on her LJ with some of their other mirrored gestures and expressions with the caption "Lovers always pick up each others' habits." That's so Danny and Flack! :devil:

Flack is smitten, period. Again, I don't really have a problem with the rich girlfriend per se...Eddie himself did mention that Flack isn't the patient type who's going to wait around for someone. While I'd much prefer that he push Danny into a wall and kiss him and show him what real passion is, if he wants to bide his time with someone else, that works, too. We all know who he really wants. :devil:

That's right! I almost forgot about that! That is perfect. What the hell, man, if TPTB suddenly surprises the living daylights out of me by surprising me with Danny/Flack this coming season ... I will personally create a fan club for the writer who does so and get the entire world to join. :lol:

Awww, Danny as a spoiled little kitty! :lol: So fitting. And yeah, Flack is kind of like a loyal, tough guard dog--he would so make sure no one touches his Kinkapoodle!

It would take a lot more than some rich chick girlfriend to convince me that Flack's not in love with Danny. Even if you can put aside the staring--and who really can or would want to --there's so much more. Flack's so damn devoted to Danny. Every time Danny has been in trouble or in danger, Flack has been there. And he gets this look on his face, like he could not handle it if anything, anything at all happened to Danny. His Danny. And he's goes all superhero when Danny is in danger, too. Too cute.

And then there's the chivalry. Walking Danny into crime scenes. Lifting crime tape for him. Running to be by his side when Danny is worried about something. Checking out Danny's ass at crime scenes. OK, so maybe that one isn't so much chivalry as lust... :devil:

^^Not only is Don devoted to Danny, he'd put his life on the line for him too. Take Snow Day when Flack offered to trade himself for the hostages. Nobody can convince me that he didn't do that just to get Danny out of there. Had Lindsay actually took her own shift, there's no way in hell that Flack would have offered to trade places.

From Hung Out to Dry. Checking out Danny's ass. This is so much more believable when watching the episode. Flack can't help himself. He has to take a look.

From Love Run Cold (the DF scenes were the best thing about that episode.
When do they ever sit like that during interrogations? They either sit across from the suspect or stand.

From The Ride In. Flack went out to walk Danny into the crime scene.

From CoTP. Danny was almost in tears when they were looking for Flack.

From CoTP. Later on in the episode, Danny still looks close to tears worried about his man.

No wonder he gave Lindsay a ride home. Poor guy was so scared and worried about Flack, he didn't realize what he was doing.

I noticed his worried look while they were looking for Flack but I never noticed the extent of that look until I saved the screencaps.

Here's some more from that episode. Danny may not be as obvious as Flack but it's clear here that he cares a great deal about him. He has that same look throughout the entire episode. Danny just looked like he was going to break down and cry at any moment. I'm thinking that once he was alone, he did just that.

Even when Danny and Mac were disarming that bomb, Danny still had that sad expression. You know Flack was the only thing on his mind.

Yay, pics!!! I love the one where Flack is checking out Danny's ass in Shane Casey's basement. Can you get any more obvious than that??? That, and once again, Flack escorted Danny into a crime scene. Mac and Stella found their way to the basement, but not Flack's baby. It's a wonder that Flack lets him go anywhere alone after all that's happened to his Danny.

Wow, those pics from CoTP really show how broken up and upset Danny was throughout the whole episode. He looks so sad. There's a moment when he's looking through the window into Flack's room and he just looks heartbroken. Does anyone have a cap of that? His eyes are so big.

As for why Danny didn't say anything to Flack about how he feels--I don't know that Danny would ever be able to say it first. Danny seems to expect people to hurt him, so I don't see him taking a risk like that. Flack should totally make a move on Danny though.

No way. If it was Lindsay, he'd have offered to pay them to keep her. Flack offered to trade himself because it was Danny. I don't think he'd do that for anyone else. :lol: Awwwww, Flack does look like he's thinking about how beautiful Danny looks. I love the expressions on his face--he's never just absently regarding Danny. He's always looking at him and clearly thinking something. And it's clearly something romantic.

That's visual proof right there that he just gave her a ride home to not show how distraught he was going to get after the whole day. It's almost scary how obvious it is he has something way more important on his mind than a cowgirl.

^^I'll refrain from commenting too much but yes, of all the caps I have from that scene, she seemed very chipper throughout.

Lucky for us, and Danny, that Don's tough and he recovered. Of course how can you blame him knowing Danny's waiting for him.

I have a question. Do you think that Danny came back to the hospital later on that night to check on Flack or do you think he stayed away waiting for Mac to leave?

He really does. That's something that's been obvious to me from day one. Danny is special to Flack--the way he looks at Danny makes it obvious how much Danny means to him. And when Danny is in danger, Flack's whole demeanor changes! It's clear that if anything happened to Danny, Flack would be devastated.

He looked really upset in that scene when he looked into the room. Poor Danny--it must have seemed like he was going to lose everyone at that point, one right after another. Being Danny, I could see him blaming himself. Louie, his brother, got hurt looking out for Danny. Aiden was Danny's best friend (other than Flack), and she was murdered. And now Flack? I wonder, if Danny and Flack had hooked up before this, if Danny got some notion into his head like he was bad luck? He gives into Flack's advances, really lets him in mentally and physically , and then Flack gets hurt. I could see Danny withdrawing after that, thinking it was for Flack's own good.

I noticed that, too. Not sure if it was bad acting or that Lindsay didn't care about anything but getting Danny to herself. Probably a little of both.

I imagine the promise of having Danny to wake up to made fighting to wake up worth it. And we all know how hard Flack will fight for Danny!

I like to think of him spending his nights there, curled up in a chair or even in the bed next to Flack. Danny's presence would go a long way to helping Flack recover.
